Some of the best tacos I have ever had. Speaking Spanish there is a plus as well. Very friendly and just good food.

I initially just wanted to watch the games, but I saw they had a full service restaurant in the sports book. The service was incredible, they even asked if there were any specific games we wanted on the screens as soon as we sat down. My friend and I ordered the fried mozzarella, chicken bacon tacos, and the shrimp Po boy to split. Everything came out piping hot and crispy! The margaritas were made perfectly as well! Kudos to the entire staff at sports & social. Such a great experience

This is the best sports bar in all of Shreveport-Bossier City…read more What an amazing scene for all sports fans in this area and for those visiting. The entire facility, Live Casino, is a complete upgrade and overhaul of the previous two occupants of this location dating back to 1994. The 1900's, y'all. The 20th Century, for real. This property was opened as Isle of Capri, and then in 2004-2005?, it became Diamond Jacks. Well, it's reminiscent of those two no more. They sunk a pretty penny into this place and it shows. Everywhere. Including here at Sports & Social. The food isn't badly priced considering this day and age and the fact that it's inside a casino. That's right, inside, meaning no one under 21. The screens are ginormous and the sound is IMAX quality. They even have single, comfy, lounge-type chairs for those that just want to veg with a bucket of beer and watch the games. All the games. And there's a Draft Kings sports book inside the restaurant, should you want to make a little wager on the contests. Great for guys night out, or even a date night! Bring your girl! There's only one ding, and for many, this is major. They serve Pepsi products. I know it stings, but it's true. And if you can live with that, this is your new sports spot. I'll be back during Bowl Season and Playoffs time.

If I'm in Louisiana, I want Cajun food. And BeauxJax does not disappoint. I attended with a local friend and he confirmed this is authentic. The experience: Friendly staff, a long restaurant with a bar section, followed by the condiments section, followed by a whole other bar somehow? I didn't poke my head back there but I found that intriguing. More on the condiments: They come with any sandwich. I probably took unfair advantage by taking enough lettuce, tomatoes, and onions to make an entire salad. I then asked for dressing, which they happily provided at no charge. And sandwiches? Do get. Delicious bread. The default bread appears to be the French - you could opt for their sourdough if you like - and it's not toasted. I love soft bread, and the po' boy was divine as a result. I loved the boudin. I loved that they have alligator sausage in multiple places on the menu. I loved everything about this place except the fact that summer means just about all of the beers were light, and I had to hunt and peck to find beers more my style. Which I did. And maybe those beers are lingering as I type this review. But BeauxJax gave me the warm, fuzzy, welcoming feeling I love in a restaurant. A great stop in Bossier. Worth a detour from Shreveport. Legitimate Cajun.

The menu was interesting, with several Cajun-themed choices, as you would imagine. Nothing blew our socks off on the menu, but we appreciated the local brew selection. This is one of our go-to restaurants in Shreveport. It's not necessarily gourmet, but you won't be disappointed with what you get.
