We've stopped at all the farm markets along Interstate 80 between Vacaville and Sacramento. This family owned business has THE BEST PRICES of them all. They all sell the same products: bulk packaged nuts, legumes, candies, Boston Baked Beans, sours, bit these guys were in the $4/ bag to $6/bag realm. The gentleman working the register, Mr Carone, welcomed us in and was friendly. I've read negative comments from other reviewers regarding bad experiences when using bathrooms. It's a FARM market, should bathrooms be top priority people. Stop being so prissy people. IGNORE the low ratings IMHO. If you're looking to support a LOCAL FAMILY business with low prices, don't be afraid, just go in and shop. read more

I came here to grab some goods and meet somebody that was taking a cat that we rescued. The people were running late that I was supposed to meet there and I was waiting outside for about 30 minutes in my car politely after I met with the family and gave them the cat. An older woman came out and started yelling at me not to come back to sell my dog and I didn't sell anything. The moment we stepped out of the car we were met with aggressive screaming from the store. The woman said to "go somewhere else you f*cking idiot." Wife's car was having trouble so she pulled in here off 80 because the gas station isn't open yet. I show up, to take a look. Immediately some lady comes out recording us screaming that we can't leave the car there. That was never the plan, we would have gotten it towed if anything. Unfortunately like others, had a terrible experience here. We pulled off of the highway because my 2 year old told us she had to poop. There is only this olive tree farm and the gas station. Gas station was blocked off, and we pulled over across from the gas station gate. We would have used the gas station bathroom but it was closed. It was a Sunday and I didn't know if this business was open. We had a travel potty in our trunk and let our 2 year old use the travel potty in the trunk of our SUV. Older man came out with his phone trying to record us, telling us we couldn't park there. I don't know where we could have safely stopped (car running) besides that spot...I'm not going to have my 2 year old go potty on an off ramp. We explained that our daughter was just going to the bathroom and he said "I don't care about your child." He made us feel extremely nervous, especially with our two children (ages 2 and 4) in the car. We quickly got our 2 year old back in her car seat and drove off (with pee in her potty mind you). When we got into the car and were back on the highway, I mentioned to our kids that the man wasn't being very kind to us, and that wasn't nice at all. We then prayed for this man and that he could learn to have compassion for others. I definitely would not support this business ever. We felt extremely uneasy and unsafe when in an urgent situation with our young children. read more

I watched owners of this business literally, verbally attack a young mom and child today. The baby had wet himself, the mom pulled off to change his pants. They were maybe 20 feet or more away from the door. Plenty of room in an almost empty parking lot. The man owner was so hostile, another male customer tried to calm him down in concern. I had my phone out, in case we should call 911. The wife came out, and I thought, oh, she'll understand. Nope, she was just screaming too. The mom was trying to get her baby back in the car. He was, understandably screaming, since two "adults" were yelling like maniacs. I got home and saw online they have done this before, to others. I feel sick I didn't do something, but they seemed so unstable truly, that warning others is all I feel safe doing. Oh goodness with the reviews on this business. So this is a little mom and pop store that sells locally grown (some of their produce they grow themselves right on the property--which you can see from the parking lot) produce, dried good, and random canned/jarred goods. They also have a small selection of organic produce, flowers, and wine. The majority of their produce is ripe and ready to eat, some are even over ripe so when you walk in the store smells exactly like ripe/overly ripe fruit/veg. However, their pricing is very cheap or competitive on the majority of their items, but for produce they clearly didn't grow themselves (like the produce in their fridge with produce stickers on them) are expensive for the quality/place so you might as well buy them from a mainstream grocery store. The reason why I'm rating them low is because a) the customer service has gone downhill, before the woman up front would be very nice and happy but now she seems very tired and grumpy--something that happens when the stress of owning your own business creeps up. b) produce is overly ripe which isn't nice if you wanted to wait a day or two before using it c) this place feels dirty, I'm not saying they ARE dirty, but it feels grimy. This could be due to their rusting shelves or the smell of the store, but whatever it is makes me feel icky after walking in. They do get two stars because a) they have the best yellow apples, super sweet, and I like mine mushy so it's great that I don't have to wait for them to get older. I know it's ironic I'm marking them down for having produce that is too ripe and then saying it's a good thing here, but for me I don't mind ripe apples, for other people this would be a big deal (especially since 90% of their produce is overly ripe). b) It's a local business that actually does grow their own produce, give them a break. read more

It is certainly easy to get to this produce store from Highway 80. The store is at the end of the Midway exit from WB-80. You can see the planted fields as you go down the driveway. It is also very easy to get back on the freeway. The market sells the organic produce that they grow and other locally grown produce. They carry a lot of dried products. One time we stopped there was an amazing variety of dried beans and lentils. And they always have a good selection of olives. The prices are reasonable. As far as I can tell it is open year around. I suspect that during the winter they do bring in some produce from other areas. S and I always leave the store with several bags of fresh produce. read more

Stopped here because we had a dog potty emergency. We got out and walked over to the dying plants near the front of the store, which looked closed. We took the nearest exit and parked in the parking lot at what seemed to be an inviting mom and pop store. I took my son out of the car in the empty parking lot. My goal was just to change his clothes and calm him down. Before I could even get his pants fully off a very grumpy man came outside and asked me to leave his property. I kindly answered we would be quick and explain that my son had an accident and I'm just changing him. He screamed not to pee in his farm. I explain what was going on, that my son already peed in his pants and I'm just changing his pants. We had no intentions of peeing anywhere on his property. His wife came outside told me that she's calling the sheriff if I don't leave immediately. She started video taping me and they were both screaming at me while my son was having a major tantrum screaming at the top of his lungs because he peed his pants. This place is not inviting. And I would never wish a business not to be successful especially during the pandemic but these people obviously reading other reviews woke up on the wrong side of the bed and had pee in their oatmeal. I have never reviewed and I rarely actually read reviews, but today has been useful. She verbally attacked me and my daughter yesterday! It pains me to know it has happened to other people, but also makes me feel better as I was taking it personally. I won't get into details, but it's similar to the other reviews, and what I find is extra creepy is that she must have been watching us- just waiting for something to go wrong. There are 2 parts to my story: 1. is I did go in to ask for a bathroom and when she showed me port a potties, I decided my daughter should go in our little potty in the car. So, maybe she was offended. 2-I did decide to do the "flashdance"style bra removal. I do understand that that's risky but, NO ONE WAS AROUND and I thought I was blocked by the 2 car doors. it was windy and I was in a dress and Marilyn Monroe showed up NOT MY FAULT. The problem is when she started screaming, some men had pulled up. So, now she's drawing attention to me making me feel like some sort of nudist- she could have gotten me harmed. Ugh. This is now called Olive Tree Farm and Market. I love this place. Fresh grown produce and olive products grown on 15 acres right here in Vacaville. The selection is limited, but you can find your basic fresh produce needs. Tomatoes, onions, zucchini etc. They also have fresh flowers and since they are close to the Veterans Cemetery, they will prep the flowers for you to place at your loved ones gravesite. How awesome is that? Come check them out and support a small business with a big heart. read more

Unfortunately, our son got car sick and vomited in his car seat and started crying uncontrollably due to his discomfort and having vomit all over his clothes, poor guy. So we had to make an emergency stop at this location, we had no choice as there was no where else close by. My wife went into this store and asked politely if she could use their sink or bathroom to wash my son's face off. The lady refused, and told us to use a porto potty outside. Ok, kinda messed up, but i can respect not letting strangers use your sink. So my wife took our son to the car, sitting with him in the front seat trying to clean him off and calm him down, while i was in the back with paper towels and wet wipes trying to clean his car seat to make it suitable to sit in again. Once i was done, i exited the car and threw out the paper towels into a garbage can outside in front of their store. Well, right when that happened the old lady with glasses came storming out of the store and went crazy. She started screaming at me for throwing garbage in her garbage can. Said she told my wife not to throw diapers in the garbage. There was no diaper i threw away, but hey ok, whatever. I tried to apologize, but she had nothing of it. She continued screaming at me in anger cause she has to "clean that mess" in the garbage. Demanded we leave now or else she would call the sheriff. So i said ok, i'm leaving, but she wasn't waiting. Even though i had to have time to put my 2 year old child in the car seat safely before i could leave, she continued to scream at me and throw insults at me. She said she felt sorry i had to make up excuses for my wife. uh, what excuses? She said she won't let her bathe my dirty baby in her sink. ok, come on lady, i just wanted to rinse his face off. All is fine if u want to refuse to help me, i understand there's people in this world with no sympathy for parents and their kids, but to scream at me, throw racist remarks at me, threaten to call the sheriff? TOTAL WASTE OF TIME. seeing as how there is plenty of fruit markets around here, me and my wife decided to stop by and buy some fresh fruit... always drive by the place but never stopped, it looks pretty lonely and old. We go in and are immediately underwhelmed. As we grabbed a basket and walked through the isles it just got sadder and sadder. All the produce is old, almost going bad, the place is dusty and it feels eerie in there. The snak bags they have don't look good at all either, right away I decided to abort the shopping spree and go somewhere else. I bought some spicy peanuts that my wife wanted so we didnt leave empty handed. I opened the bag for her, took a sniff and they smelled rancid. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Right on the door it says service dogs allowed, as it should per law. I walked un, first thing I walked up to him and asked if he wanted to see his service ID. Despite me saying this he started to get hostile demanding I take him out. I said he is a fully certified and trained dog and he has his tags. He started to raise his voice saying that he does not, as I am trying to show him the county tans on his collar. Finally looking at the tag he said that the day didn't say he was a service dog. I pointed out that it said solano County service dog with his ID number from the county. He still threw a fit about it. We ended up having to leave because it triggered me.
