    Pistachio baklava

Love this place for a fresh, healthy, but hearty meal. I often get their tabbouleh, falafel, and gyro platter. Tried the pistachio baklava this time which was nicely sweet and the right mix of flaky and chewy. Healthy can still be delicious when it comes to Mediterranean food!

Came here while waiting for my dog to be done at his grooming appointment and I'm happy I did! The grilled pita with feta was my favorite (I love feta cheese) service was amazing and the restaurant was very clean and cutesy. I appreciate price and portion sizes!

Great Mediterranean food! Casual dining , quick friendly service! Love that they have vegan options. Portions are good. Veggies were perfect. Craving Mediterranean while in the Kent Covington area- a must try!

Really quality Greek spot - chicken was juicy and gyro was authentic and the rice was flavorful - did the gyro/chicken platter and a Greek salad with a side of gyro, Will be back and this is a notch above your typical Greek spot.

Amazing Middle Eastern restaurant in the Kent, Maple Valley and Black Diamond area, don't miss this place! It's a casual restaurant with good seating capacity and offers variety of Med food. We ordered the Lamb shank, falafel and Appetizer platter- all of them were really good. Food came in hot and it's a hit for us!

They keep forgetting our pita bread every time and some of our sides. It's disappointing. Too bad, the food is great here. This is like the 8th time.

I'm starting at a hotel why would they not give me utensils?

The food was delicious. I'm guessing the customer service isn't great. I got DoorDash because I'm on vacation in a hotel and it says do not include utensils and condiments. WHAT!?! There was no box to check on DoorDash. I basically had to eat food with my hands until my husband went and found some. Normally I wouldn't be this crabby, but I just got off the plane and I've had nothing to eat all day. No matter what put your utensils in with the food OLIVE TREE! Especially if you have things like rice, hummus, and salad.

I was shopping at Trader Joe's and decided to grab some lunch with my partner since it was located on the same plaza. We've ordered take out from Olive Tree before but haven't dine inside before. As we entered the restaurant, we had to walk to the counter to order our food. The menu was displayed behind the counter with some pictures. If you're like me, I like to read the menu on their website ahead of time before ordering. I ordered the avocado chicken shawarma wrap combo with garlic fries while my partner got the gyro combo with olive tree fries. Once you order and pay for your food, you look for a table to dine in. The restaurant has a nice ambiance filled with rustic decors like you're in the Mediterranean. Service is non existent except when they bring your food. For my dish, I really love the marinate of the chicken shawarma which goes so well with the avocado, lettuce, tomato, onion and tzatziki sauce, wrapped in pita bread. It seemed like a very healthy meal. Did I mention the garlic fries were to die for?! The garlic aioli smothered all over the fries tasted so delicious, with strong garlic flavors. Made it very hard to share. If you're a garlic lover, this is a must order! I sampled my partner's gyro wrap and it tasted very good. The meat wasn't dry and gamey, which I like. Overall, one of my favorite Mediterranean restaurants around the area and I will continue to be their loyal customer.

I've frequented this establishment for over 10 years. It is a mainstay of the area. This gyro plates and falafel is consistently a fulfilling treat. I usually come by for takeout or food delivery.

    Lamb Kebab Platter (D#8)

4 years ago this was the place my Mediterranean friend from nearby college and I used to go to. They definitely approved this place (back then) and we came here when we had money to have our "fancy" dinner as college students. Back then we enter and got seated then they give us menu ... you know the ushe. Today I came back to show my husband and I was quite in a shock with the changes. First, now we go to the counter, order and pay. They give us the number order and we get our own drink at the machine. Another thing that shocked me, the food came in a disposable plate. Yes, it looked unique (bamboo like) but quite flimsy. I asked them for what they are known for or what do they recommend on their menu and they did not have any opinion... all I got was that people liked everything on the menu. I asked about which lamb dish is best between lamb shank and lamb kebab and they said it's two different dish. Of course I know that but I wanted to know their opinion at least or some explanation on which one to choose. Portions were definitely smaller than in the past and the dine-in is not as busy as it used to be. (Maybe owner changed?idk maybe this is so since Covid). They had quite significant to-go order though. We ordered: -dolmas (appetizer). It came with 6pieces and it was ok. -lamb kebab plater #8. It was good. The lamb was not consistent in cooking since some were well done and some were pink. -chicken shawarma #2. It was decent/ok. Some of the chicken pieces were quite small (maybe it's the last portion order?). Seasoning was not quite t The whole order came with pita bread (they put both in the same foil, no plate just straight foil) In general, I was quite disappointed because this used to be a really good place. Lots of memories from college but it's sad that now it looks like a deli place.

Tender, juicy, succulent, with just a right seasoning and spice. The ground meat kababs were average. Lamb kabab just decent. The whole grilled chicken was really good -- again, tender, juicy and succulent. These guys definitely know their chicken. The pistachio baklavas were great. But the Kunafa quality has gone down. Couple of months back, Kunafa was great. This time, the cheese quantity had dwindled and replaced by some filler (cornflour-y, custardy- stuff), and an overuse of orange color and artificial essence. The butter/ghee was also almost missing. [Someday I would love to unravel the mystery of why restaurants use artificial color -- be it tikkas, chicken 65, desserts. No one likes it -- name one customer who has ever said, that a dish needs color for me to buy/eat it. The customers don't want it. The restaurant has to spend more money to purchase the color. It's extra effort to add it. It's a lose-lose-lose situation. But let's leave it for now] Portions aren't humungous but quite fair for the price. The whole roasted chicken is probably the best chicken deal in the US right now -- 20 bucks will get you a full, good-quality bird, done to perfection, along with fragrant rice. Service is very good. Our server Mustafa was amazing -- gave us great recommendations, was prompt, and overall made us feel welcome. Ambience is OK. Extremely spacious (one of the biggest per-capita restaurant space that you will ever see), and clean. The furniture and decor is a bit dated, but you might not notice it. A huge pointer for the management: please get clean the bathrooms. Bathrooms are in a very sad need of repair and upkeep, and in this day, age and location, a bathroom that smells of pee can truly tarnish all the good efforts and investments you guys are making. It's an easy fix -- $30/day and you can have someone come in deep clean it every day. Overall, highly recommended for the food!

I always ordered the chicken tikka kebab, but now the plate comes with just a few small pieces of chicken and an overwhelming amount of rice. Previously, the chicken portions were generous and well-balanced. They also recently changed the bread, which is disappointing since it used to be one of my favorite parts of the meal. Unfortunately, the new bread doesn't compare to the original, and it really takes away from the overall experience. I used to look forward ordering from here all the time - but not anymore. The baklava is still good.

I figured this would one of the better options than the other restaurants at Kent Station. When we entered, we saw that we had to go to the counter to order. They had some interesting signs, one of the more bizarre ones was no talking on speaker phone but I could understand that too. They had decent music playing that fits the vibes of the place well. The mural they had was gorgeous. When we went to the counter, the cashier just took our order. No real service which was unfortunate as that was the only thing I had an issue with especially with how not busy it was. They had two tables of customers and a steady-ish flow of take out customers. My boyfriend got us a gyro plate for me and a gyro meal (a canned drink and a choice of side) for him while I ordered a side order of falafel. I was getting anxious about our food as it was taking much longer than I thought. Additionally, they call out your number so you have to get your food. After more than 10-15 minutes, we received our food. The food was pretty good. The tzatziki sauce was flavorful and added a nice refreshing palate with the salad, pita, and meat. I wish there was a bit more onion in the salad as it felt like two or three pieces. There were also some hard pieces of rice that was super unpleasant for me as I really dislike that mixed in with the good parts of the rice. My boyfriend enjoyed his meal and had no real complaints. They do have complimentary water. Overall a good spot if you're in the area with limited time or craving Mediterranean food.

I was always thought all mediterranean restaurants are the same, but this one is a little different for me. Everything has yogurt in it and I'm not too crazy about sour yogurt. The restaurant is in a little shopping center, there are actually quite a few places to park. The restaurant is very nice, clean and airy. It's a self order, and they bring the food to your table. The prices are around $20 a dish. My sister ordered all the dishes, pizza, chicken, wontons, they all looked delicious but the tastes are so different for me. The wontons are not as tasty as Chinese wontons and they're not soft. The chicken is tasty but not very flavorful. The yogurt is very sour and rich. I had some slices of pizza, but nothing to rave about. Anyhow, at least I know what Turkish food is like. This one is supposed to be the best one in Tacoma and my sister family love it. Like they say, it's not my cup of tea.
