I have been wanting to find a place I can regularly get facials and I think I found it! I had a really great first appointment at Oliveaux and I booked it online for the 90 minute foundation facial. It was a great balance of relaxation, skincare assessment, pleasant conversation, and the somewhat painful but satisfying extractions that I so needed! Can't wait to go back for my 60 minute foundation facials! There is free street parking and cheap parking lots nearby. You'll need to buzz to get into the door and walk to the second floor. Much like everyone else, due to COVID, it's been a very long time since I had a facial. I definitely felt 2020 in my pores and really needed some thoughtful skincare. As soon as I was vaccinated, I looked for a new aesthetician and found Lacey. Her reviews were wonderful, but I was encouraged by how personalized her care seemed to be. The reviews I found on Yelp ended up being true; but in addition to that, she is incredibly kind and gentle, very focused on your care and experience, and will offer recommendations for you to continue effective care at home. I learned from Lacey that I was using the wrong facial soap for my skin type and she gave very specific suggestions and options on what I could be using instead. This is so helpful, because I want to take care of my skin but have literally no idea what I'm doing. She even gave me ideas of where to buy things - both online AND locally. On top of all of this, not only is she fully-vaccinated, she's got great safety protocol, a clean-as-a-whistle studio, and continues to double mask it the whole time you're there. Rapturous! I loved my facial at Oliveaux. From the moment I stepped into the chic and calming indigo-walled treatment space, I began to succumb to bliss. After being warmly greeted I was invited to slide into the sumptuous linen sheets, where I sunk deep into the cushiony table and put myself into the expert care of the very knowledgeable and friendly Lacey. She asked me about my skin care and made great recommendations without needing to resort to any aggressive sales techniques.
