The food came out quickly and was piping hot and fresh. The empanadas were excellent. Great flavor and tasted high quality. I found them to be a little oily but that wasn't anything a napkin couldn't fix. The shrimp was cooked well and I liked the sauce it came with. Their bread was also super soft and tasted freshly baked. Definitely something I'd consider ordering again! Overall, I'd definitely come back to the White Owl and would love to check out more things on the menu.

The corn was good but not as good as I was hoping they would be. The mister enjoyed the beef bulgogi sammy - the chicken was cooked nicely but was missing that oomph. My favorite thing were the empanadas. There is a self service water station. Service was quick and friendly, place was airy and welcoming. Sure, they carry most of my favorite beers and the gentleman owner is friendly. However, it's just way too overpriced. Upon leaving from our first visit to the shop, The Hus declared, "This will NOT be our wine merchant." And it hasn't been, for the most part. I'll go here in a pinch, as it's merely a block away from our abode and sometimes the closeness factor wins out over the cheapness factor. Like I said, dude running the shop is nice enough, and I do like supporting a local biz (who doesn't?). The small shop is chock-full of wines from all types of regions, and as I mentioned has a decent beer selection. It's not nearly as vast or impressive as, say, Bottles, but it gets the job done. S, three stars it is - you'll walk out with a decent beverage, but it'll cost you!

One can certainly find significantly larger selection at liquor superstores in Warwick or Attleboro, and if you are looking for exotic wines or champagnes then you probably would be much happier at those places, but Murphy's does have a surprisingly wide selection of certain items packed into a compact space. Murphy's holds its own with sake, mead, and other less in-demand beverages that small stores typically ignore because they are quite a lot smaller and quite a lot more expensive, and Murphy's best competes as an alternative to those. As a practical matter, if I'm buying a bottle of table wine to bring as a dinner guest or something of that sort, I'm more likely to buy it from Murphy's than from anywhere else because of good prices and convenient location.

They only had one register open during peak hours, but the associate was moving quickly to assist customers and kept the line moving. They've also apparently expanded into parking lot maintenance--at one point, a shopping cart was being used to fill a pothole outside. So, at the end of the day, they're clearly committed to making the best of every situation whether it be working short or working without asphalt.
