I ask the men, "how much is this combination bag?" He said it was $8.99 +tax. Total of $10.00 dollars I began to ask the men. If I can trade the items, I just bought. For the combination bag. He said yes and charged me $7.00 dollars. I proceeded to give the man $20 dollars, and he gave me back $3.00 dollars. I didn't comfort him or say anything disrespectfully. But I did tell him he owes me $11.00. Then he started to act like. He forgot how much, I gave to him. It started to annoyed me. A Portuguese Gem Near the Freeway!…read more My friends who used to live in Mountain View hipped me to Sousa's, a great spot for Portuguese food and wine. It's a much closer drive for me than San Jose and is conveniently located right off the freeway. They have a fantastic selection - oils, bakery items, breads, linguica, and cheeses. I was on the hunt for some stinky cheese from mainland Portugal, but no luck on that one. The owners were super friendly and helped me find a few things, though they were unfortunately out of plain salad vinegar at the time. Overall, it's primarily a liquor store with a massive selection from around the world. But you can also find a variety of Portuguese food items and some very affordable Portuguese wines. I'll definitely be back!
