$5 dollars for a 2 liter soda?? I have been buying the same 2 liter sunkist from this place almost monthly for years for under $2 each, and all of a sudden they increased the price to $5 per bottle since I was here last month? I strongly suspect that some of the employees are charging different prices than what is advertised and what the normal price should be. I now learned from these greedy frauds to always ask for the price no matter how many times you have purchased the exact product from this exact store. I came in here to see what kind of snacks and IPAs they might have. I quickly walked in and made my way to the back to see what they had in the cooler. They did not have much. Then I went all the way to the last aisle and went up and down each aisle. I noticed that one of the staff members was following me behind the counter. Every aisle I went down they moved behind the counter. I started to feel strange and I made my way towards the exit and another staff member confronted me by the entrance. Less than 6ft apart he rudely asked me, "Why are you looking?" And I told him, "What? Am I NOT allowed to look? I was just browsing!" He looked at me up and down and asked me the same question again and I told him, "Okay, you know what, I'm just going to leave. I was ONLY browsing!" I stormed out. Screw this liquor store! AVOID THESE UNSCRUPULOUS OWNERS AT ALL COSTS. I came in here for a soda. Simple enough. I go to the freezer and see your common Buy 2 for $3.50 offer sticker on the rack in the freezer. So I grab two and go to the register. I get rung up for $4.42. I was surprised and asked him how he got $4.42. He mumbled something to the effect of "if you don't want it, get out!" but giving him the benefit of the doubt, I told him that these are two for $3.50. With tax and CRV, it should be around $4 even. We even walked back all the way to the freezer so he could see for himself that the sticker was right there. Then he says someone else took it off somewhere else and put it there and that because the register rings up $2 each, that he would not honor it. Honestly, I don't care about the 42 cents or whatever. It's the way these crooked guys operate. If your sign says this is what it is, then they should honor that amount. The crazy thing is that the guy didn't even move the "supposed misplaced" placard that shows it's 2 for $3.50. Basically, they're POS system isn't updated to match their listed prices and tell customers to get out. What crooks. I walked out and will never go back. read more

Very rude store keeper. He reserved 3 parking spaces right in front of his store already, and I parked in a parking space that was not even one of those reserved ones. He just came up to me saying that I don't read the sign and I had to educate him that it was not a reserved parking space. Then he told me that people don't read the sign that it was supposed to be a 10 minute parking and I had to educate him again that he is assuming that I didn't read the sign, which I did. In addition, 2 of the reserved spaces are empty. I understand the need to reserve 3 parking spaces for businesses that need them. But this store keeper should not harassing people outside when he had no customers inside and should not be so presumptuous. read more

This store had a hard to find bottle of tequila advertised on line for $129. I called to make sure they had it, and confirmed the price was $129. When I drove 45 minutes to buy it, they out the bottle on the counter and I noticed the price sticker on the bottle....$129. When I said that I'd take it, they scanned the bar code and told me it was now $229! I argued the point with them, they had advertised it for $129, they confirmed the price when I called, and then tried to extort an extra $100 from me. Absolutely dishonest, and illegal practice. It's a nice little liquor store, I believe once upon a time this used to be a Bonfaire Market. I simply went in there for scratchers to feed my gambling habit lol. They had all the scratchers that I liked. The lady behind the counter was very nice and friendly and she also showed me new scratchers that would be coming out later this month. I don't know if it's the owner or what but this guy with a turban stands outside talking ish to people just because. I pulled up to him harassing a lady in her car who was attending to her baby. I got out of my car and he tried with me but I'm not the one. I promptly got back in my car and found another liquor store. People in Fremont must be a lot nicer than in San Jose! Just got a response claiming the dude was merely asking the lady to move. No he wasn't. He was talking ish to her as he did to me. I'm handicapped and used my placard. You have a flippin green curb and in California anyone with a placard can park in a green zone for an unlimited amount of time. I told him that and he kept cussing and threatening me so unless that was you out there, don't try to make this guy out to be some sweet innocent person. The person working here was very rude. When asked if I could speak to the owner, he said he's the owner himself. Ok. But here's the story. The person was on the phone throughout the whole time I was at the store. I asked him where was Heineken stored and he said "check the cooler." I checked the cooler and I still couldn't find it. I asked again and he got mad at me for asking. He raised his voice and pointed at the door and said "can't you see?" Well Captain Obvious, I obviously cannot find it. That's why I'm asking you. I'm going to give this guy one star because I don't like dishonest people and this guy was one tricky MF. I tried to pay with credit card to save cash and he made an effort to decline multiple cards 3 times and said it was an invalid number. He did this to force me to use my cash. Sitting in the parking lot of this place after driving 40 minutes to pick up a product advertised on their own website at $59.99 which I called to verify was in stock, only to have them tell me it was wrong and tried to charge me $199 instead. I saw the same item advertised at BevMo for $69.99 so even if $59.99 was wrong, $199 is INSANE. Wouldn't work with me at all. Terrible service. Please spend your money elsewhere. read more

I recently had a similar experience as mentioned in other reviews. I have visited this store a few times before. This time I was pulling up in the 10 min parking space in front of this store. There wasn't any store parking sign for that parking space. Just as I parked a guy in turban just walked carrying a store parking sign and held it right where I parked. He started yelling at me and said I should read and be educated where to park. First I was surprised at the way he spoke/yelled at me. I calmly responded back saying there wasn't a sign before I parked. This dude (while talking on phone) still holding the store sign kept yelling at me! I have never been talked to like that before and an unpleasant experience. I understand the need of reserving parking spaces for business but randomly walking to cars with portable signs after the car has parked is simply ridiculous. Because they had nothing that interested me and the cashier proceeded to follow me to my car ask me if I took anything and then take his phone out start recording and taking my picture.
