Purchased a vehicle from them in August. Received the vehicle in October, and within 24 hours the TPMS light came on, the windshield wipers went crazy, the windows would roll themselves down, and the collision alert sensors would go off for absolutely no reason. I brought it back and told them what was going on. They had it from January 5 until March, fixing the tires, recalls, etc. When I got it back, a whole new light popped up on the screen. "Emissions system failure", so I bring it back in. Again. They changed my oil and didn't even look at why the light was on. The straw that broke the camel's back was when I went to open my rear passenger side door and the fucking handle FELL OFF. So what do I do? I bring it back. AGAIN! In order to fix the handle and sunroof vibration/hum - it will cost nearly $2k. They wound up fixing the emissions system problem, but it still cost me well over $600 out of pocket. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and AG's consumer protections agency. I can't afford to NOT have a vehicle (I need it for work), but I also can't afford all the repairs on a car I purchased EIGHT MONTHS AGO. read more

Brought it back for transmission issue after They told me to bring it back after 5000 miles also developed a noise. cost 104 dollars for them to tell me they didn't hear anything. I'm now in the process of discussing issues with FMCO and Lincoln. i purchased a ford warranty at purchase sure happy i did not purchase the other warranties they tried to push on me as they will charge you for them at purchase and make it extremely difficult to use. extended warranty ($3000) Charged diagnosis found nothing. scratch and dent ($700(was included) but refuse to let use Tire and Wheel ($3000) good luck with that undercoating ($700) (said they did it) but can't confirm. they love to roll them in on your loan but don't get caught trying to use them. previously gave a 2 and have another review in here so but cant access that account I bought a 2019 Lincoln MKC with 43k on it. Finance guy Jeremy rushed me through paperwork and made his promises that he was giving me a deal his boss couldn't know about you know the tactics to add more on to loan. After I denied the additional extras. He ended up adding them on for free as they were running a promotion which I found out after they tried to sell me it. So I got the car that day took 7 days for plates everything went as normal I brought it in for service a week later because the sun roof and window switches weren't working the day after I brought I home they informed me it wasn't a quick fix and I'd need to drop it I set an appointment for 8am the following Thursday. I brought vehicle online Wednesday night to Drew in service, for my appointment at 8 am. The Lincoln comes with a location tracker when I checked the tracker at 12pm the following day the car still hadn't been brought into garage. I called agitated as I had an appointment for 8am. No rental was offered and I just bought vehicle. Drew informed me he had no excuse for delay and it would be on lift within the hour. Flash forward to 5pm and thy call telling em it needs to stay another night and day to be buttoned up. They did a transmission service and rear brake pads and calipers as it just left the dealership and hadn't bee inspected or gone through as Jeremey stated it had been. They didn't charge me for the work so that's why I gave a three but in all honesty the whole dealership operation was not ideal and not a great experience if Drew hadn't helped me out I would have gave a 1 we will see how future business with them goes as I may require more service. I will update review accordingly. After driving for another 1k noticed all four tires are dry rotted. Front breaks squealing not sure if undercoating they charged me extra for was applied. read more

Regrettably I will no longer using Oliver for service after my last visit. The service coordinators were rude and the technician was unable to diagnosis the issue. When I called to follow-up on the service I was asked by the coordinator "what is my problem now"! I asked for a callback, which I never received. Horrible experience! I made an appointment ahead of time for 2 pm. I explained that I have the FORD SERVICE WARRANTY called TRITON for oil changes etc. at check in they told me it would take over an hour for a simple oil change. Then 24 minutes later I was approached to say my VIN# wasn't showing as covered. I told them I'd pay for the oil change and deal with reimbursement. Another 10 minutes passed, nothing started yet. I wanted to access my paperwork in glove box and it was still parked where I left it! I found the TRITON WARRANTY THAT SHOWS IM COVERED! At this point I just wanted to take my suv and leave because I'd already been sutuing over 30 minutes with no action. I actually think they were being prejudice against me because I'm from Texas!!! Texas plates!! They made me feel that way. They were rude, refused to honor my Ford warranty and I would never suggest to anyone to use this service! I explained to her that I'd be driving out 2.5 hr to come see the truck, and she set up an appointment with Larry Cole. On Saturday morning, my family and I head out on a short road trip. We get there a little early, so I decided to drive around the lot and see if I could spot the truck that we were there to see. I couldn't find it, and headed inside only to be told that A) Larry Cole had stepped out (we were right on time for our appointment), B) The truck had been sold the night before. Thank you very much Carbone for the 5 hour road trip. I found a Tacoma that they had posted for sale on the internet. I exchanged emails and expressed strong interest in it. After few days i took a 2hr trip to see and buy the car. They knew i was coming, yet they didnt even bother to send the car to a detail shop(inside was horrendous, dog hair like a carpet, filthy) yet they decided to only change the engine oil. After taking a small test drive i decided to negotiate a deal even though the car was dirty and parts were missing. It got me home and thats where it stopped. Following day i wanted to take it to a store and the clutch was slipping. After a day clutch was toast. I reached out to them with this problem and they best thing they could offer was change the clutch and still expect me to pay for it with a "discount". 111miles up north, this car would have never made it. I decided to change it myself and documented it along with receipts, thinking that i would be reimbursted. At first the general manager, replied to my emails and was polite and working with me. My first review of Bennington Ford (now Coggins Ford) was glowing immediately after taking ownership of my 2015 Ford F150. However, If I could give minus 5 stars now, I would. My first problem came up when I took the truck in for regular service. I asked them to do regular service plus get the code for the outside keypad as the salesman, Jason had said they would because the card with the factory code was missing. They said they were too busy to do this now. I also asked them to check to see what was rattling underneath when driving. Said they would but did not. Also, I asked the salesman to make sure the spare tire release assembly was working properly before I took possession of the vehicle. He said they did and all was fine. Fast forward to today when brought the vehicle in to Carmody Ford in Greenwich, NY for regular service. I asked them to do regular service plus check for a rattle and check the spare tire release that Bennington Ford said was fine. Carmody Ford told me the lock assembly was totally rusted and needed to be replaced. They said there was no way anyone had checked this previously. Now for the kicker. I asked Carmody Ford if this lock was possibly covered by the full warranty that I had purchased from Bennington Ford for $3000.00. They checked and said no warranty had been registered with Ford Motor Co. I confirmed this by calling the 800 number on my warranty paperwork. I called Coggins (Bennington) Ford left a message twice and have received no response as of yet. What more can i say? read more

Abolutely disappointed yet again. I had a bad experience a few years ago and decided to give them another try while looking for a car for my dad. I found one line, called and left 2 messages, the calls were never returned. I called a third time and spoke with a salesman. I was led to believe the car was in very good shape, I spoke with him on two separate occasions. My husband went to check it out, they would not let him drive it off the lot no explanation why. My husband found another salesman, who actually said that the car could not pass inspection and that it had a laundry list of issues, and 2 wrecks on the carfax. The estimate to fix it was $3000.00, and would be added to the price, making it more than my dad wanted to spend. WHY did this asshat salesman (Henry) waste our time? Drove about 2 hours to go and see a truck that was listed as accident free but had massive damage to the tailgate and door to the the bed ,honestly looks like someone reversed into another truck. Staff didn't know what happened and was more worried about who crashed it than making it right with me only wanted to take off a grand when the value of the truck went down massively. Breaks were squeaking and underneath was very rusty definitely more than usual for a 5 year old car with low miles. I spent a lot of time searching for a used Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited. Finally found what I was looking for at Carbone Ford in Bennington. Hounded them for a week trying to get pictures sent to me other than the stock pics on the site (I live an hour and a half away in ny state). They kept saying they were not done "going through it". Finally I checked their website again and they had uploaded pics. Ok..I'm annoyed that they didn't send a single one to me but ok people are busy right? I get it. So I called them and set up an appointment. Arrived early with my kids. Looked at it. Drove it. We all loved it. Done deal. Did the paperwork expecting to probably pick it up next week. No the salesman Jason Lacroix said I could leave my pickup in their parking lot and drive it home if I wanted. Great. Sounded good to me. They installed a paper temporary plate for me and explained they couldn't do the inspection sticker since I was getting nys plates. Ok no prob I'd bring it to get it inspected as soon as they (Carbone) mailed me the plates which he said would be a week or so. We went on our way. Three weeks went by and no plates. I emailed Jason and he replied promptly saying they would be there by Friday. Got the plates in the mail Friday and immediately dropped it off at my local auto shop for inspection. FAILED. Needed the horn replaced, various lights were out, and the a tire pressure sensor was bad. $506 and change to fix it. I paid my shop to fix it since I needed it for a trip that was coming up and assumed that Carbone would do something to compensate me since I hadn't even put a thousand miles on it yet. Two emails were ignored before a response was sent to me saying that it was sold "as is" no warranty. I was never told anything about this during the transaction. One would think that would have been brought up especially in a large dealership. Very angry and displeased at this point..livid really. But it gets better. A WEEK later one of the rear brake calipers seized leaving me with another $500.00 bill for a set of new pads and a new caliper installed. Now I'm having transmission/clutch issues too.. Makes me think these guys knew it had problems and just unloaded it. BUYER BEWARE. All these guys care about is getting the money and then you're on your own. Sad. I would have been happy to split the bill with them. I'm not an unreasonable guy and very rarely do I ever write a review like this. Hopefully someone at Carbone reads this and can make things right. I'm in the market for a used truck and I happened to find what I was looking for at Carbone Ford. Myself and my wife called and talked to Josh in sales and he was nice and helped us. The dealer is near 3 hours from us so we liked what we saw with all the Pics and info so we gave them our info and they made the deal for us. We asked if it was ok if we came Saturday to do the deal and bring the Truck we were trading and we agreed. Finance was all set, we agreed to the terms and payments and should of been all set. We thought this is a done deal and the Truck was ours. Friday afternoon comes along and we get a Email, not a phone call which was the first indication that this is not a good business practice. They tell us someone came in and bought the Truck and it's gone and their excuse is because someone else took a deposit and sold it without our salesmen knowing. So right there there is very poor communication with workers and Management that they don't even know what the deal is with their inventory but I'm not sure I even believe the story. If that is in fact what happened there is no proper system in place and poor management. We were angry and my wife called Larry the sales manager and he gave her the typical gee I'm sorry that happened I'll talk to my staff which are meaningless empty words and what it really means is screw you and there is nothing you can do about it. He said they had another Truck there which he would give us a deal on so I reluctantly made the trip like an idiot because my wife wanted to see the Truck. Of course we get there and discover numerous dents and rust and rot over the rear Drivers side wheel well which of course never were shown in the pictures due to the camera angles they have mastered there. At this point I am beside myself, we discover Josh appears to be maybe in his early 20s so how can I get mad at a young kid that doesn't even begin to know about customer service how could he? We are sitting there and I believe a Manager walked by and made a comment "was I right Josh" and he said Ya so obviously he was making a comment about me but didn't have the Spine to say anything to me. Larry the Sales manager who is not managing knew we were there because we asked for him and he never not once came out to me and my wife and apologized for screwing us on the deal and apologized for not telling us the Pick up bed was rotted on the truck he mentioned. While we were in the showroom with Josh there were 3 other salesmen who looked 19 or 20 taking big wads of crumpled paper and throwing them across the showroom to get into the waste basket laughing and joking. This was such a waste of my time. The pictures of the car I went to go look at the Ford Flex that I called and made an appointment to go see it. They didn't show any of the damages in the photos and did not state any flaws as well. I drove an hour and 15 minutes to get there and the vip manager Fred didn't even look at all enthused to even want to sell me the car . Even though i would have never bought it. The car had been hit on both sides of the doors and the muffler was rotted. When my husband asked is this price firm after both of us saying to Fred that the muffler was rotted and that both sides of the doors had been hit all he said was yes. I said to my husband I'm all set let's go. Fred never once said let's see what we can do to fix the problem not a word. I can't believe they call him vip manager. What a joke . My 2004 Subaru Forester looked way better than his 2016 Ford Flex. Not to mention the inside of the car was disgusting as well. Who sells cars like that?
