Another year, another trip to Wilbert's! My partner and I made our second annual quest for the perfect tree this past weekend, this time with our puppy along for the ride. Wilbert's is a MASSIVE Christmas tree farm that spreads across both sides of Salt Road. They have pre-cut and u-cut, with the u-cut being significantly cheaper. We grabbed a saw and a cart and went on our journey. We probably should have gone across the street to hunt for our tree, as the POSTED SIGN suggested. I am sure there is a safe way to cross the street and get to another path of trees, but the dog was being annoying and we needed to get a move on hence...we went to the more baren side of the field. After finding some potentials that were dead on the inside, we landed on our perfect (slightly smaller this year) tree! The wrap up process is really easy and they even provide twine to adhere the tree to your car. You can show up with nothing, chop down a tree, and drive away with it all with the complimentary materials they have on hand. When I lived in an apartment, I headed down to the boy scout Christmas Tree station that was walkable from my house, and I think they were charging ~$65 per tree. Not the case at Wilbert's where a u-cut will only set you back $45. I highly recommend grabbing your fam and your pooch and heading to Wilbert's this holiday season! read more

I do enjoy wilberts tree farm. They have an extensive size of land with about 4 or 5 entrances to park at. I'm not sure how many different kinds of trees they have but i know it's more than 3. I don't know all the names of the kinds of trees because we always went for a Douglas fir. Each entrance has a team of guys and girls to check you out, shake the tree, cut off the bottom branches and help you put it on the car. They also have manual saws for you to borrow. The price does seem to go up every year which I'm not fond of but that's what keeps them in business I guess. They also sell wreaths and precut trees at a lower price. The trees are affordable: the tree stands, less so. You can get a nice 6 foot tall tree for 60$. Which is fair. But the 40$ stand is expensive, which might affect your experience. Otherwise, it's very nice and very efficient. read more

Loving this place! Affordable trees.... AFFORDABLE I SAY! My husband and I were paying arm and limb (pun intended) for our annual tree. A friend turned us on to this place. Our first year we were a little skeptical... but ventured there anyway. We kept asking ourselves, how can trees be only $30?? We have been paying $75 +/- for the last 10 years........ Well, its NOT too good to be true. This is real I tell you!!!! You do have your choice of cut your own, or pre-cut. Pre-cut cost a tad bit more, but still, super affordable. When you arrive I recommend you head into the trailer and grab a map since this tree farm is extensive. They are on both sides of the road. No need to bring your own saw... they have plenty. Same goes for the tree sleds. They have plenty so you can wheel your tree out. Get in line, get tagged and have a complimentary "fresh cut" done to your tree. Then they "shake" out your tree and wrap it up. Go in and pay and your on your way! Fast, easy, and overall, great process! Highly recommending this place. 2015 Prices have gone up by $5 since 2014... still not a big deal. $35 Cut your own $45 Pre-cut $60 Premium Pre-cut Don't forget to check out their live their Nativity Scene. Its been around for over 30 years. You can even pet and feed the sheep, goats and a donkey on display in this Nativity Scene. (Animal food is available to feed the animals.) I heart the Wilbert's. I feel like I know them, because I am at their berry farm almost every Saturday from June - October. Honor-system berry picking in a pastoral setting ... seriously ... horses neighing next to you while you pick. Pacifying. And $2/pint ... yes $2/pint!!! ... for raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, and black raspberries. I just LOVE Wilbert's! Which is funny how I am waxing poetic about the berry farm, because this review was intended to be for their Christmas tree farm! I heart them enough that I wanted to give them our business for our Christmas tree. Prices are fantastic -- $35 if you cut your own. And they have a living manger scene, complete with live goats and a donkey! A candy cane height measure, so you can take pictures through the years and see how much your kids have grown. Wreaths and other holiday decor for sale. Just a wonderful, wholesome, holiday experience. And I think the Wilbert family donates a large number of trees to our military overseas, so that they may have a holiday, too. How can you not heart the Wilbert's? :) :) :) read more

Wonderful farm with all different types of berries to be picked and enjoyed! All summer I've been going to the Wilbert Family Farm to pick and purchase my berries. The Black Raspberries, Red Raspberries and Blueberries are all delicious!! A must go-to spot when you don't have them growing in your own backyard. read more

A great place with TONS of Christmas trees. My boyfriend had gone here as a child so we finally made the jump to cut down our own Christmas tree, so we came here. They have so much land and SOOO many trees, so there are maps available to help you navigate what kind of tree you want, and where to find it. There are carts you bring with you, and well formed paths. We finally found our tree and cut it down. You bring it to the main building, pay $50 and they string it up making it easy to transport. The whole process was efficient and I loved the variety and the amount of trees around. If you don't want to cut it down yourself, they have trees already cut down you can pick from, but are a bit more expensive. Loved the experience!! read more
