I purchased my gown in May of 2023. Paid in full. I was told it could take 6-8 months for the dress to be made and sent out to her. In Oct of 2023 I reached out regarding appts for my dress fitting and also for seamstress. I was told not to worry her seamstress, Maria at Maria's tailoring would get me right in. I was also told my dress would be in mid January. Mid January comes around and I don't hear from Sierra. I text her asking about my dress. She replies she's at market and will check asap. A few days go by, still no update. On Feb 4 I text her again asking about my dress. She replied the next day it's at the warehouse ready to ship. I ask for tracking and to make an appt to pick up my dress. My dress ships on 2/6, arrives to her house on 2/9. (My wedding is 3/16). The FedEx shipping confirmation provides a picture of the dress being delivered. What a disgusting mess that garage was. And I know having kids can be messy. This was disgusting. Why is my dress being shipped to her home address and not her storefront? She tells me she is full on sat 2/10 and I can't come in. I happen to be in the area. She was closed on 2/10. Once again I have to blow up her phone to get a response about an appt to pick up my dress. I've had no fittings with the dress. Nothing. So finally on 2/13 she texts me my gown is in and says she's out the rest of the week. She will get me in the following week. She said she would text me her availability when she looks at her schedule on 2/14. Well Valentine's Day rolls around and she does not respond to my text message. 2/15 I sent her another message and she replies that she had surgery on 2/14. She finally agrees that I can come in on 2/19 to get my dress. Again trying to make an appointment is like pulling teeth with this lady. 2/19 rolls around and I arrived for our 11 o'clock appointment. The shop is closed and locked up. I text her that I'm there. She then text me back a short time later telling me she thought our appointment was at 11:30 and is on her way. She also called me while on her way to the salon to ask me to send a picture of my gown as two came in. She arrived at 11:28. Mind you, I have made an appointment for a reason. I get there and try on my gown. She lays out the train, etc. She put it in the garment bag with the seamstress information and I leave. A short time later I called Maria's tailoring and she tells me she cannot get me in whatsoever. I explained that I bought my dress from Olivia Bowen and she pretty much guaranteed that I would be able to get in with Maria. She was not able. I called two other places trying to get appointment with the seamstress to get my dress altered 26 days before my wedding. I also had a bridal photo shoot scheduled for 2/26. I had to cancel this and lose my deposit, because there was no way I could get my dress altered in time. I reached out to Sierra to let her know I was displeased with her lack of professionalism through the entire process. The series of events that happened that day, and now the Seamstress cannot get me in. She offered me another Seamstress that used to work with her. I ended up seeing a Seamstress that night. When laying out the train of my gown, she hands me the train, and shows me this black and grey filth on the entire train of the gown as if it were a floor sample. There was also grease splatters noted. I immediately started calling and texting Sierra to let her know that this dress could not be brand new. She swore the gown was brand new. I requested a new gown to be overnighted. So that evening I called Blanche and left a message with Nicole a retail supervisor as well as Sierra calling the next day. In the meantime, I had to have the current dress spot clean to get the grease spots out..$150 later. I finally hear from Sierra, they are overnighting me a brand new gown. I picked up the second gown, the new one on February 22. This dress was shipped to the store. 23 days before my wedding and now four days before a bridal photo shoot that I was told by Sierra not to worry that I didn't have to cancel, but in fact did. Luckily, I was able to get my dress altered three weeks before my wedding and the seamstress did an absolute fabulous job. I requested being comped for the cleaning of the first gown, the alterations of the second gown as well as being out of my deposit for the bridal photo shoot. I will give Sierra credit that she finally, after four weeks of going back and forth, did refund for the 3 requests. I cannot believe how she runs this business or lack there of, I should say. If it weren't for me texting her about my gown, I'm sure it would still be sitting at the warehouse. I hope no other brides have the terrible experience like I did. Unless you want an unlimited amount of drama, stress and anxiety before your wedding day, go elsewhere!! read more

The experience was amazing! The dress selection is out of this world if you're a boho bride girly like myself. It was hard to choose from the selection of Rue de Seine gowns. With only having a short time frame and a few hour window of the time that I could even try of the gowns, Sierra was generous enough to come into the store on her day off for me to be able to try on my dream dress. We had made a appointment a couple of weeks in advance. We were greeted and welcomed into the bright and beautiful boutique by the owner. She started pulling dresses right away that were in the vision that was given, as well as dresses that were not particularly something that would have been chosen personally! It was so surprising to step out of ones comfort zone! The boutique is upscale, tastefully decorated and set up, with a wide array of exceptional and unique designers to choose from. The dress selection isn't overwhelming like some bridal stores and I personally like that! I felt like the prices were extremely fair considering the detail and quality. There were several we liked that were the boho style, mixed with a classic edge. Truly a place to find your dream dress! My only suggestion would be to offer cold beverages and champagne to add to a wonderful experience! read more

It was a terrible experience for my daughter. We were there on time waited 22 minutes no one came to even say hello or introduce themselves. Then Sierra showed up never even asked my daughters name or mine or other persons name . Put us to "trial area " their dressing room is a joke little curtain very narrow hard to try even a short or shirt , pass trying wedding dresses. She brought the dresses herself out , opposite of what bride asked did not listen the bride or showed her around what she likes to try on . Each dresses took may 5 minutes put on take off without any input . Because store owner no where to be found .Girl supposed to help my daughter keep looking at out the window complaining about traffic how she was going to get home and even said soon as we leave she was going home . There was no support or consideration for customers was there wedding dress shopping . I felt like we were in the some stores dressing room . They basically rushed my daughter try on take it off but no help no input . Once we were ready leave none of the person came to door said anything . Nothing like what did we think , give them a call or nothing what so ever. Please don't go to this business . I felt bad for my daughter they treated her disrespectfully. **10/10 RECOMMEND** The owner, Sierra, is so helpful! She is so helpful, that her bridal boutique was actually the FIRST one I visited and I FOUND MY PERFECT BRIDAL GOWN. Easy peasy! I loved Sierra's personality, she is knowledgeable, and has a great collection of dresses that fit my taste (Classy, timeless, with a bohemian kind of vibe). She made the whole experience into a fun event with some of my closest ladies accompanying me. From the time we walked in, we were relaxed and enjoyed our shopping experience. Personally, I loved being in a boutique vs. a huge store with an overwhelming amount of options. We were welcomed right away when we walked in for our Sunday afternoon appointment and she asked to see my inspiration photos and what my ideal budget was. From there, she pulled 4 dresses for me to try on to get an idea of what I really would like (actually on my body). On the way to try on the dresses, one dress caught my eye on one of the racks and I asked if I could try it on as well. She put that specific one in the dressing room first, I tried it on, and we all fell in love with it. It was my dream dress without truly knowing what my dream dress was. I proceeded to try on the other options, but none felt as perfect as the first. I then had my mom, Aunt, and two best friends pick out a dress they thought would look good on me and tried them on as well. We all still agreed that it was the first dress, hands down. This gave me the confidence that it really was THE ONE! The best part is that the dress I went with just happened to be on sale and fit my budget just perfectly. Needless to say, not all experiences probably go as smooth everytime but in order to have a great experience, here are my suggestions: 1 - Visit Olivia Bowen's website to find some inspirational dresses. Find 5-10 dresses that you think you will like and plug them into their own photo album for easy access. 2 - Bring your most trusted advisors in your circle to help give a 2nd opinion. Having 4 other ladies was the perfect amount for me without having too many opinions and causing confusion. 3 - Try on different styles, even ones that you don't think you'll like (it helps confirm the dress option that you fall in love with) 4 - Avoid wearing make-up so you're not worried about getting anything on the dress 5 - Have someone take a 360 degree video of you in the dress. It gives you an idea of how you move in it, how the front, back, sides, etc. look. I've watched my impromptu video at least 20 times in the past few days just to make sure I love it and every time it leaves me feeling 100% confident I made the right decision. (I have a little paralysis of analysis that goes on!) 6 - Have FUN and make an appointment with Sierra! You won't be disappointed!!! I had been looking for a dress for a while.. well a few months last year (thanks Covid!) and then began to look again this year. I had been to almost all the boutiques in Orlando, one in Tampa, one in my hometown in Georgia, and two others in Melbourne but was absolutely blown away with the selection at Olivia Bowen Bridal! The dresses there are freakin' gorgeous!! They were also very unique and had much more detail than any of the others that I had seen in previous salons. Sierra was very welcoming and listened to my wants and concerns. She pulled a few dresses and I picked a few as well. The first I tried on ended up being my dress and I could not be any happier! It is beautiful! It had the sparkle I was looking for with beautiful floral appliqués. The price was perfect for my budget as well. I would NOT recommend Olivia Bowen Bridal. It has to be the worst at customer service and communication. The experience my sister encountered is horrifying.The dress was ordered back in May and was promised mid January. January came and went until the store was contacted to ask and were told the dress was at the warehouse. Back and forth with the owner to pick up the dress as it was paid in full at time of the order in May. The dress was finally ready to pick up and the wedding is 25 days out! Totally unprofessional and absolute no regard for customer satisfaction. This experience was stressful and unnecessary for the bride. In fact the owner showed up 30 mins late after confirming and picking the time for the dress to be picked up. I would urge everyone and anyone to go elsewhere when choosing a bridal salon as this place needs to seriously consider attending a class on customer service and how to run a business especially when the dress received was not a new dress! It was filthy! When asked the bride was told it must have happened at the warehouse? Also the seamstress she said "would not have any issues fitting her in" was booked...when the bride said "yes to the dress" and picked her dress up no posts on social were put up-the only positive thing I can say is a new replacement dress was sent and after going back and forth for weeks leading up to and after reimbursement was made but it is absolutely unnecessary stress for a bride less than a month away especially when it was ordered and paid for way before....if you want to have an experience that is memorable and ideal- proceed with caution! I am appalled at the type of business practices this owner has- she should be ashamed and consider a different line of business! Sierra is AMAZING at her job. I went to several boutiques and went to Olivia Bowen and told her my vision and without hesitation went and picked out the perfect dress for me. I tried on several but went with the one she chose because the one she picked out was the one! This girl knows her stuff! Tried on at least 80 dresses from all over the state but this boutique is one of a kind! The selection she offers you won't find anywhere else and truly gives you a wonderful experience! Prices are a bargain for the quality and she's very humble and does not smother you while you're there. Appointment only so you have the whole place to yourself! First, I'd like to say that their customer service is awful. I emailed with questions that they wouldn't answer or just not respond at all the my emails. I had actually reached out to this shop in March with a list of dresses and asked if they could be ordered to the shop by July for my appointment, she assured me when she emailed back that she could absolutely have them ordered to the shop for me. I reached back out April 31st to reconfirm my appointment for July and check to make sure the dresses would be there. She confirmed my appointment and never answered about the dresses. Fast forward to the day of arriving for my first dress appointment and they called as I was walking out the door to drive an hour and a half to this shop to tell me they no longer have my number one dress on my list I sent them. I went anyways knowing I still had 5 other dresses on my list. Once I arrived they had 1 of the 6 dresses I had on my list, they bashed the designer (MWL) and said they no longer do business with them. If that we're the case why didn't you say that in the email, considering all of my dresses were from that designer. When I tried on dresses, no one helped me in and out of the dresses as most bridal shops do. I would try on dresses coming out with them practically falling off because no one was there to clip my dress until I came out of the dressing room. When she would clip my dress, she clipped my skin so many different times (it hurt). Overall was NOT the best experience and would NOT recommend to anyone for a first dress experience. If you absolutely love this shop then I highly recommend you speak to someone on the phone to verify any questions you have. read more

Sierra, who runs this store is extremely rude, fake, and unprofessional. She pushed my appointment back 30 minutes to tend to customers who were late and tried to make excuses that they were from out of town. So were we and when I told her that we were on time and also from out of town she seemed upset and suggested that we go get a coffee instead of having those clients out at the time she said they'd be gone. When she waved us in as we sat outside nearby in the heat, because we didn't know when she'd be ready, she wasn't even at the door to greet us. She wasn't prepared at all knowing what dresses I requested to see and asked if I had prepared a board of looks I'm into. I said no and said I just wanted to see the dresses I asked about because I felt like she was already being phony and the appointment was only an hour long. I had them on a note card which she took from my hands, she asked if that was okay for her to hold them after she already touched them. And then she went around the store looking for them like she was totally unprepared. She said she didn't have them and when I asked if she had certain ones from the card I brought, she had to go back and check again because she probably didn't check for all of them the first time. That's how unorganized she was. Everything I wanted was sent in an email she clearly didn't review. I emailed her repeatedly leading up to the appointment to check that they were still in stock. She only had 1 out of the 5 I asked for. She made excuses and seemed upset when I told her she could have told me that they were sold before I made the trip out. Instead she said, "You want to have an open mind and try something else." Really snotty and catty tone, and uncalled for. She didn't want to take responsibility and clearly wasn't sorry. I was already prepared with pictures from her site showing two other dresses, because I actually did have an open mind already and didn't deserve her rude attitude. I let what she said slide to see if I might like those dresses, but they were out of my budget and she didn't even mention that. She also reached for my phone when I showed her the gowns and I quickly said I don't want you touching my phone. She said " okaaay" like she didn't get that COVID is still a problem. I even had to explain that to her. Plain rude and ignorant. She didn't even clean up after the clients before us and had a veil on the couch where my fiance sat and the curtain for trying on was just a few inches away from the mirror. Although the store was large, the try on area was dimly lit and unappealing. I decided to leave the store after realizing she didn't care about my budget, what dresses I wanted, was rude and only had one dress I was interested in. I was not going to let someone like that be a part of something so special to me. She didn't even say a word to my fiance. When he said something to her about being more helpful, she talked over him and me and kept sarcastically saying sorry. I told her she wasn't and then tried to tell her that she could have emailed me ahead of time to say she didn't have the gowns in stock. She turned away from us and walked away. Earlier she kept suggesting that we go to a different store that might have what we want. So as I left I told her if she wanted our business, maybe she shouldn't try to tell us to go somewhere else. I am very glad we did, because the next place we went to even had our name on the board, the dresses I asked for and several other surprise ones that were beautiful and within budget. The assistant there said, "some people just don't get it." when I told her what happened and I have to agree. If you want someone who doesn't mind pushing your appointment at the last minute,not having what you want in stock, not even telling you where the store is because it's wrong on google maps, being rude, catty and over all having a fake demeanor, then go here. read more

*BRIDES* I am writing this review with hopes to prevent what happened to me to any other bride out there looking to buy a wedding dress at Olivia Bowen Bridal. Unfortunately I was scammed, lied to, and robbed of one of one of the most special, important moments in my life. I purchased my wedding gown from Sierra on May 29, 2021. The gown I tried on this day was on sample sale; however, Sierra promised that a brand new one could be made by the designer. I loved this gown, and I wanted it brand new. I paid nearly $3,400 in full that day. A month later (after I reached out to the salon first) to make sure my dress was successfully ordered, I was told that my ETA was December 2021, and a few days later I received a text saying that my gown was in production. Fast forward to December, I had not heard anything from Sierra regarding my gown so I reached out. I was told it was not there yet, but it was due in a week. I waited until January and reached out again since I, once again, had not received an update from Sierra. She told me that it had arrived at that time. Poor communication was the first red flag. When I finally got to try on my dress since it "arrived" it was March 2022. I was so excited, but when I tried on my dress I found it strange that it was way too large when it was supposed to be ordered to fit me. Sierra didn't even bother to pin it, I was the one holding it in the back the while trying it on. Secondly, the gown was very dirty. Sierra said that it had gotten "dusty" sitting in the back for so long, and also said that the gown was dirty from shipping from the designer. Lastly, the belt on the gown was broken. How was my $3,400 dress straight from the manufacturer too big, dirty, and broken? Unacceptable. After trying my dress on, Sierra said she would send it to the dry cleaners and ship it to my house. I waited over a month before reaching out to Sierra once again in April. When I spoke to her over the phone, she said that she was sending the dress to the dry cleaner for a second time for a spot clean and that when she had it dry cleaned the first time they broke the belt so she was going to send it to the seamstress to be fixed. However, the belt was already broken when I tried the dress on the month prior and again, why would my brand new wedding gown need a second dry cleaning?! I knew something was off and soon found out that Sierra was trying to give me the sample gown that I originally tried on, when I had ordered a brand new one. I reached out to the designer who made my gown who confirmed that in fact, Olivia Bowen Bridal did NOT place an order for the gown to be made. The designer reached out to Sierra in hopes to diffuse the situation, however, Sierra just kept coming up with lies on lies. She told them that another bride with my same size ordered that exact gown and did not want it, so she set the dress aside and allocated it to me. If that was the case, why did Sierra tell me my gown was "in production" and that it had arrived to the shop when it was there the entire time? She also told the designer team that I already had the dress, when I did not. I could go on and on with the lies she told but ill spare them. Both myself and the designer asked Sierra to provide me with a full refund. After an entire week of begging for a refund, Sierra told me there was nothing she could do. At this point, I was going to have a lawyer involved, when Sierra finally issued me a refund via a check. What happened was truly unfathomable. One of the most memorable experiences as a woman, bride, and future wife was taken from me. The fact that someone can have the heart to do such thing sickens me. Sadly it was not the first time this has happened to an Olivia Bowen Bride. Sierra did something similar to another bride a month prior (confirmed by the designer). How many more brides has she done this to in the past, and how many more will she do this to in the future? Please be careful in deciding if you are going to purchase a gown through this salon. I hate to think she can continue to get away with this. read more

Also wouldn't tell me the brand and size (or price) of the dresses I was trying on. My daughter was looking for a dress with sleeves and I found Olivia Bowen as a shop that was named on a number of designers sites as a retailer. We went to our appointment not expecting much because of our experience prior to this appointment with a salon in Orlando and it was horrible. We didn't even bring the bridal party! We found the dress on our first visit. The selection was amazing, styles and colors that would suit any bride. We started with what we thought my daughter wanted and each dress and with feedback about likes and dislikes, Sierra found dress after dress until my daughter found the one! Sierra made the appointment so easy and we came in 50% under budget. The whole process from ordering, buying, getting accessories and bringing the bridal party was so easy and fun. Sierra even recommended a seamstress near us to have the dress altered. Happy daughter, happy Mom! Thank Sierra for making my daughter feel beautiful from start to finish on her day. read more
