Had lunch at Olivia's recently. It's bigger inside than it looks! The waitstaff was friendly. We were able to order an appetizer off the dinner menu, which we appreciated. We got the sampler with bacon wrapped scallops, dip with chips and bbq shrimp. Nothing special, not bad. I wouldn't order it again. 3 of us had sandwiches, one turkey club, one fried oyster sandwich and a burger. The burger was good, cooked to order and had good flavor. The person who had the oyster sandwich enjoyed it and it looked very good. My husband got the fried fish and didn't enjoy it. He said the breading wasn't good and he barely ate any of it. I saw someone's salad and it looked pretty good. Our family who lives there say dinner is good. Overall, it's a diner type of restaurant in a smaller town area. I would go back if I wanted a burger or to try something else (maybe that fried oyster sandwich!).

Husband enjoying the food for sure! He had the chicken parmigiana!

Lovely little place in Glocester, VA! Nice ambiance, friendly wait staff. I had the surf and turf and steak was tender, shrimp big and juicy but the real draw was the rolls dripping in garlic butter! Delicious! Reasonably priced! Is a good stop to check out on your way to the historic district! Lovely visit today!

First them meal: Outstanding. The wifey and I both ordered small pizzas. Mine was the All Meat and the wifey ordered the Arugula and Prosciutto. Let me say again both were outstanding and tasted amazing. When talking about my old meat pizza out of the four or five meats on mine with standard it out above the others was the sausage. Had an absolutely wonderful flavor. But surprisingly it didn't overpower when it was combined with the other meats. As for the wife, this is the second time she's had this combination type Pizza. The first time was in an authentic Italian restaurant, but was in Mexico. Yeah, that's kind of crazy pizza in Mexico but at that location down there it was incredible enough to make my wife want it again and this is the first time we have found a location that served a similar pizza. The arugula was fresh, not welted and really popped with flavor. Now both the wife and I had to really agree that the crust for both pizzas was not that heavy dough type. It had a little fluff to it, making it not weighing in your belly after you eat it. Staff: our server was outstanding as well. Very intentive checked on us several times and we even had some conversation back-and-forth. I believe we may have talked also to the owner who was sitting out front. If nothing else he was the manager again another very friendly man that we enjoyed our conversation with. As for the location: we found it very clean. And well kept. If you look at my other past reviews at locations via visited the one thing we really base cleanliness on is sometimes the restrooms. Well, in a shared ladies/men room, it was also very clean and well kept. So I will say again, outstanding location, outstanding staff, and wonderful food. If you're in the area absolutely I would recommend this for your lunchtime meal. We absolutely look forward to going back at a later time and trying some of the other dishes they offer.

He was so helpful and made some great suggestions on the appetizers and entrees. I had a bowl of Lobster bisque which was delicious. We had calamari and parmigiana sticks. All hot and tasted great. The Espresso The bread was fantastic--garlic butter and warm to the touch! We had great entrees penne pasta bolognese, Osso Bucco, grilled chicken fettuccine, and Ravioli con carne. Everything was delicious and the serve was great. "This is the best Italian restaurant I've ever eaten at," said my wife and she's Italian descent. We asked Fati, was the chef Italian? He said he was Sicilian. We were very impressed with every course. We had dessert that was a perfect ending. The photos don't do the food justice. We had espresso with black sambuca and cappuccino. My wife and daughter had Espresso Martinis. What a finish!!! If you are in Williamsburg, you must eat at Francesco's Ristorante to experience the atmosphere, the serve, and the food. Enjoy your family and friends. Eat well, stay healthy and most of all be happy.

I ordered eggplant parmesiana that came with angel hair pasta. So delicious and all of the ladies agreed that they had a fabulous time. The portions are generous. We will return, of course. The nickel and diming for anything other than what's on the menu was disappointing. That side salad was not worth five dollars as one lady ordered it.

While others may have a more extensive wine list, Azzurri blends family-friendly comfort food with a warm, inviting, and clean atmosphere. Pair that with the friendly, personable staff and restaurant full of regulars and locals, and you have a winner all around. I even saw one couple walk in, hold up two fingers, and were recognized and seated immediately by the owner (by the way, this place is owned and run by a family--one gentleman even cooks in the kitchen some while his mother serves guests.) I've ordered the same dish elsewhere and this was the best I've had. It was absolutely clear to me that everything truly was homemade. If I had any suggestions, it would be a more extensive wine list and olives in the house salad! But that's trivial really, because this place is already a total gem. I look forward to many more meals here. Not pictured here is the pizza; a local fan favorite that I can vouch for.

You could tell the staff was hustling to keep up with all their tables, but they never dropped the ball. Nice cozy vibe too, felt intimate without being cramped. Portions were generous, no complaints there. We had a mix of pastas and pizzas across the table and everyone walked away happy -- food was solidly in the 7.5-8.5/10 range from all of us. Only thing , entrees come with a salad, but you can upgrade to soup instead. I'm not really a salad guy so I asked about soup, and I'm glad I did because it was really good. Just wish that was more clearly listed on the menu (maybe I missed it, but a few of us didn't realize it was an option until I asked). Definitely worth a revisit.
