Giuseppe's holds a special place in my stomach. I absolutely adore the owner, chefs, and wait staff. You feel so incredibly special when you dine here, and if you come more than once they are sure to remember you and make you part of their family. The atmosphere is always so joyful, bright, warm, and engulfing. But it's the food that we want and they assuredly do not skimp. My latest wine dinner was hallow ween themed and oh my so delicious. The wines were so on point, every one was a burst of new flavors for me. Then the food , oh the food. I've been to many of their dinners but I always fail at getting pictures of each course because I'm having such a great time. Tonight I did it! Lol. The presentation, the flavors, the back story, oh my! Getting into one of these special wine dinners is not easy, you need to prebook, no day of walk ins. Your efforts will be rewarded though.

Very romantic setting. Not too large and the atmosphere is very personal. They talk to you to try and find your preference if you would like. They have signed wine bottles displayed in cubbies with accent lights. I liked it. The food was made to order and the service was excellent.

I meant to write this review a couple of days ago, my wife and I visited on Monday. The special was very good, it was a strip loin with manchego tortellini, mixing the meat with the cheese was perfect. The mussels are a favorite of my wife's and they are delicious. The place grew to be busy but the service was excellent. The restaurant always is very clean and has a great look to it. It has become a favorite for us when we want Italian and we live over a half hour away.

My friend and I came to Carbo load before the Richmond Half marathon. Giuseppe's does not disappoint! We split the spaghetti & meatballs and pest gnocchi for dinner. The salad that was included was very fresh. For dessert, we split the seasonal lemon raspberry tiramisu, which was so unique but refreshing and delicious! The owner? stopped by the greet us and asked how we liked the dessert. Fast and great service, delicious food for reasonable prices (we're coming from the DC area). I highly recommend this spot that is popular amongst the locals!

These pictures are from various wine themed dinners. The food and wine are deliciously paired. I have several allergies which are always accommodated. I highly recommend you try their food!

Giuseppe's is my go to for awesome Italian dinners when I vacation in Williamsburg Va. The pasta with grandmas meatballs was delicious and just hit the "spot". The pasta with shrimp scampi was amazing. The scampi had a nice sear on them and literally tasted like lobster! Always a great dinner!

When visiting the area I always go here. The food, ambiance and service are the best. If you like Tiramisu then you need to try it out here. MY GRADE: A minus.

    Not always

Is the pasta made in house? :O

They make their own pappardelle and when they have a lasagne or tortellini special they make those pastas as well.

    Vegan entrees available?

    Yes

Are there any vegan options(no animal products)?

I believe they have vegan and gluten free options. The owners, Anthony and Christina, are very helpful. Give them a call!

After spending the day at Busch Gardens we were all hungry so I started researching local options and found Antonio's restaurant. So glad we did. From the meat lasagna to the shrimp and ziti dishes to the cheese ravioli..all was superb. As another reviewer noted, don't let the fact that's it's located in a shopping plaza with a grocery store and a lot of other businesses side by side deter you.Once you've entered and start eating you'll just imagine yourself in the finest high end Italian restaurant you've ever been to. I told Antonio the owner it was excellent and even better than many of the north end Boston Italian restaurants we've visited over the years...I'm not kidding...you'll swear Antonio's mother and grandmother are back there in the kitchen cooking ...the tomato sauce, garlic knot bread..everything of the most highest quality and flavor..we got the cannolis for desert...excellent..better than Mikes pastry in the north end ...seriously..go there...run there!!! However, I would not recommend the brownie and chocolate sundae dessert. The brownie and cookie were cold and hard, which made the dessert disappointing. On the positive side, the carrot cake was huge and definitely worth sharing -- easily enough for 3-4 people. The service was excellent as well. Our waiter was very attentive throughout the meal and made sure everything was taken care of. Overall, Second Street American delivers great food variety, strong service, and a family-friendly atmosphere, with just a few misses on dessert.

The ambiance is like a dim lighted factory. It's connected to a few other eateries and brewery with restrooms in the lobby of all facilities. Ordered the pretzel bites with a beer cheese. These were good in the sense of being soft, chewy dough balls to dip in cheese. I don't believe they tasted like pretzels at all. They tasted more like the pizza dough, but still a good appetizer. Ordered a pepperoni pizza. Dough was fluffy and airy. It seemed a bit over proofed. The pepperoni overcrowded the top and made for a very greasy topping. Sauce is sweeter than my liking. The taste was similar to a commercial chain pizza so younger children tend to love that. Overall, an interesting setting. We left with full bellies and prices were reasonable.
