This is by far the best crab soup I've ever had. Tons of flavor and lots of lump crab meat. The soft pretzel was huge and I dipped it in the soup. I also got a blueberry cider and everything only came to a little over $20 bucks.You WILL NOT find those prices in a DC restaurant. The vibe was laid back and seemed full of locals. There is a liquor store next door I plan to check out next time. I will definitely be back for that soup. The waitress was friendly and even yelled goodbye to me when I left. Stopped by this evening, after getting past the gawking by practically everyone in the establishment (apparently we are not regulars), we sat at a table, waited about 15 minutes never saw the first server come by our table! If this place is self service, would be nice to have some sort of clue how to order a drink and some food. Overall, very disappointed! Oh my goodness this pretzel blew my mind. I saw it circulating on Facebook and decided i needed to come give it a taste. Their burgers are also really good as well. The bar tender was very nice and made sure that our drinks stayed full and that we were good our entire stay ! read more

Everytime we go here, we have so much fun. The food (especially the crab quesadilla) is amazing! The bartenders are wonderful! Every time I would go to the bar, she knew exactly what I wanted and basically had it ready for me before I could find my husband to pay (LOL) And the live bands are a huge plus. read more

We love this place!! It's our favorite spot to go on a Saturday night for the awesome selection of live music that changes each week. They were empty last night bc there was no band but we still had a blast. Even without he crowd we had a great time celebrating my boyfriends birthday last night. Came for the dueling pianos show tonight. First time coming to Ollie's and we enjoyed ourselves. The server made all the difference. She was so nice and caring and we didn't complain once and yet she was nice enough to give us a discount since our food took a long time. Taco salad and crab dip was great. Girl with dark hair, long and straight was our waitress. Very attentive and checked back consistently to make sure we were good. Only complaint had nothing to do with you all. Just the fact that the dueling piano guys never played our songs I guess Bc we didn't put enough cash with our request which was disappointing. Thanks for a great time Ollie's. Decided to check out the YELP reviews for Ollies. I found it funny that the last 3 reviews from 12/31 were posted by people saying they're in the military, were disrespected, spent tons of money and wouldn't come back. I found it funny because I was bartending and they loved Ollies...until security told them they couldn't pass around miniatures of alcohol and share them because they didn't buy them from the bar; any establishment would do this. It was all caught on the security cameras! They also tipped $0 on their bill...I guess they thought the bartenders worked for free and it's their fault that they had to leave for breaking the rules? Doesn't seem very military like. My sister in law is in the MARINES and loves Ollies. I just had to clear the air on reviews that aren't true. It's a great time :) read more

The Owner has straight up issues and a bad attitude. We visit last Thursday and once the our order was taken and we got our drinks we never say her again. The kitchen brought our food to us. No one check on us and we order 2 steak dinner that was suppose to be well done but was all pink inside we stop a waitress and she took them back and it return a couple minutes later still pink. Needless to say we were the only ones of color in the whole place and after the lady went to get the manager for us he look at us continue to drink and laugh with his friends for another 15 mins then came over to us with a nasty attitude quote "I CAN'T CHANGE THE PAST IT HAPPEN"..... I post review on Face book to find out several others has had the same issue. So disappointed since I had been there before when the owner wasn't around and had great services, the took me by surprise. They will not get anymore of my money as well as I report them with several health valuations. read more

Great spot for live music! Was a little apprehensive the first time I went there but turned out to be a super fun time. The outdoor patio is a nice touch and the live music sounds great. Just wish they had more food options. read more

I went to Ollie's for the first time on Wednesday when they had their $23 a dozen crab special. The service was absolutely horrible and the waitress was rude. She was very unattentive and not very friendly. My companion and I asked for 2 dozen but only received one and then had to wait almost 20 minutes after we finished the first batch, to receive the next. I spoke with the manager who was friendly but didn't offer us any compensation for our troubles. He asked, "what can I do for you", but did absolutely nothing. Not even a free $1.84 beer. He also went on about how he also owned Port Tobacco Marina, which has horrible food but better service. When I patronize a restaurant, why is it so horrible for me to expect good food and even better service?! I will NOT be going to this place again, nor will I recommend it. read more
