I love the direction of this establishment. I had opportunity to speak with the owners and they are definitely trying to get this place off the ground. Drinks were in expensive and great. Being that this establishment is in the middle of nowhere in my small town of Indianhead, Maryland, this is definitely a place worth stopping by. Hopefully, with the summer being here, they can attract the biker business which day target. Also, I can definitely see this place having live music in the future. I can't rate the food because the service was nonexistent. This was a birthday celebration. Waited 45 minutes before Waite staff came to ask if I wanted anything. Unacceptable. Granted it was a party but not one person got food at a reasonable time. Unfortunately I can't say anything positive about my experience. Will I come back to give them an opportunity for redemption, I honestly don't know. Location... off the beaten path. Parking, scary at night. It's next to a little liquor store/bait shop. Inside was clean...small bar, several large screens. Maybe just for neighborhood folks. Definitely not for large parties, or celebrations Seriously, try at your own risk. Maybe it was a bad night... We had the pleasure of visiting this establishment and it was amazing! The atmosphere is open, clean, with an entertainment stage, nice decor, great music, and TVs around the restaurant. The food was great as we had the steak/cheese and chicken/shrimp egg rolls, rockfish bites for the starters. Entrees: shrimp and rock and grits; chicken sandwiches; and rock fish dinner. I've only been there twice but I'm happy with the food and the service the ladies of Burners have provide.

I had the BBQ Wingettes with mac and cheese and collard greens today and it was amazing. The owners, Mr and Mrs Burner are always welcoming when you first come in and very attentive to customer service. There is always good music coming from the juke box and there was a DJ starting around 8pm as I left. The drinks are reasonably priced and the beers are cheap, especially 3-7pm during happy hour. I had $1 Busch beers and seen others for $2-$4. Burners is my go to for good drinks and good music. read more

I have had the pleasure of dining and enjoying this establishment a few times. Everytime I have been there the owners greet you with a soulful Welcome. The menu is your typical bar food, but they run daily dinner specials, like one night I had the Fried Snapper Rasta Pasta and another night I had their Turkey Wings. Tuesday's are Taco Tuesday, I think you get my drift. The ambiance is beautiful and everytime I go something new is there to admire. Definitely won't be back, went in for good vibes and happy hour apparently when we got there it was over. We were the only 2 in the establishment the bartender was watching a movie. Very awkward experience while the bartender sat and watched us talk to one another instead of turning on some music to create some kind of vibe. Not impressed at all the bartender was so weird and dismissive. No energy nothing. Needless to say it wasn't a good experience at all. It started strong, but it weathered away real quick. I'm not sure if it was the party that was going on at the time; or the diversity of new customers. People were coming in and out and getting quick good service while we were getting blatantly ignored; waiting over an hour for a refill. Note: The have more than enough employees, but not everyone is working. The only reason for the 2 was that it had good music with a DJ and the place was clean. Burner's is a new desperately needed Bar and Grill in Indian Head. The owner and his staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The food I tried (wings and fries) were excellent - non greasy and full of flavor. They have gone the extra mile getting the place beautified and ready to open. There will be live music Friday thru Sunday which is also a major Plus. Looking forward to finally having a decent place to go here in Indian Head on the West Side of Charles County which is often overlooked by the County Council and Businesses looking for a place to call home.
