Rather, Reincarnation is a carefully and artistically curated near-museum of a shop. I was in awe of the floor-to-ceiling flat-file shelving unit. I seriously would have purchased it if I had space for it. I ended up leaving with some fun trinkets that I'll be gifting for Christmas: a keychain made from an Ohio license plate, a goat's milk cap magnet, and two antique chandelier crystal ornaments for the Christmas tree. According to my friend, this place is always changing (in a good way). They'll rearrange as new pieces come in. I love the setup, as I thought it highlighted the unique pieces perfectly. I recently dropped in at their Tremont location after walking around in the midst of winter in Tremont, and developing a need for gloves. AMBIANCE: Banyan Tree currently has an inviting window display with a word "Joy." The storefront has two spacious rooms that feel cozy. Inside you'll find wood accents, and a comfy couch to recline while shopping. Checkout is available in the first room as you walk into the space. INVENTORY: The inventory is predominantly women's fashion. You'll find a unifying theme - comforting fabrics, sparkles, and lots of hand-knit accessories. The best way to describe the vibe is lounge chic. The clothes you'll find here will allow you maximum comfort as you venture out in Tremont and beyond. The clothing looks well made and unique while following the latest trends. The prices are on the higher end starting at about $90 something. Accessories are reasonably priced starting at $20 something. I'm not fully satisfied with the clothing inventory because the sizes go up to L and one size. I wear a plus size so I can only drool while looking at the clothing. I wish that I could also shop here and enhance my wardrobe. In that way, sizing is not inclusive. There are also smaller gifts and accessories at the store - journals, books, purses, statues, and more. Few categories have sales - ornaments and summer clothing. The sale is 40% off. MY PURCHASE: I purchased knit gloves from Banyan Tree. The price was $22. The brand is Figwood, was designed by Banyan Tree in Cleveland. It is a brand exclusive to Banyan Tree. It was sustainably produced in Bali. Imagine someone in Bali knitting gloves and knowing nothing about our winters. I find this very endearing. There are plenty other Figwood items for purchase that are made in Bali and Thailand. The gloves have a simple design but are chunky. They also have top of the glove removal so that you don't have to de-glove every single time. I found other glove designs to be awkward. They were missing top part of the fingertips which seems like the very reason you'd glove. Maybe I'm not on trend. They also have very few gloves in store due to the end of season. Seems like the season is just beginning and winter is ramping up. SERVICE: The service is attentive and personalized. I was offered assistance with glove shopping. The sales associate was really warm and friendly. I enjoyed my experience at the store. Unfortunately, I'll probably seldom stop in because the clothing sizes are not accommodating to me. I'll visit once in a while if I'm ever in need of well made accessories or gifts. Most importantly, the store is a feel good store in terms of supporting consciously made clothing and supporting women across the globe.

This retail space had so many stories and looks from being a boutique to being a photo studio to this new refined era. It feels like whispering a secret sharing this review because the boutique just opened and is intentionally not advertised. Even people in the neighborhood haven't all found it but you just did. Ambiance: High ceilings, chic exposed concrete look, neutral drapes, expert staging, and ritzy feel. You instantly feel transported to SoHo (maybe Rick Owens concrete minimalism space). Locally I can only compare it to the stark elegance of RH (Restoration Hardware). It's really a marriage of a boutique and gallery. There is a lounge area with couches and chairs for you to unwind while making purchasing decisions. The fitting room has a huge stunning mirror to evaluate your fit. It's simply gorgeous. Merchandise: As you enter the boutique you'll find men's merchandise to your left and women's merchandise to your right. Women's sizes go up to L. Some of the brands that can be found in the store are Silk laundry, Mijeong park Marle, and St Agni. The clothing is well curated with pleasant feeling fabrics - silks and soft fabrics. The owner suggested considering unisex look and checking out the men's collection. You can certainly find a dress for your night out in Cedar Fairmount. Clothing is around $100-200 at least based on the tags I've looked at. There are a few jewelry pieces and accessories in store. Home decor is on the shelf in the center of the store and few items are strategically placed around the store. You'll find ceramics, the thinned glass, vases, candles, and more. Most articles are worthy of display in your home. Art coffee books are also scattered around the space like Auguste Rodin's art. Most artifacts have little stories about their exclusivity and European origin. You'll find plenty of distinct pieces to spoil yourself or other people in your life. They are pricey but every object seems well curated, high quality, and hard to find elsewhere in the wild. Service: The owner is very friendly and introduces you to the space. Beverages are offered to customers. The guests look like they're from the pages of Vogue. I definitely should have dressed up to shop here. Neighborhood: The neighborhood where the boutique is located is known for its dining and new-ish wine shop. All are within walking distance in the same commercial district. I loved the lavish feel of this boutique. I love well executed interior design, which is clearly seen here. Personally, I wear plus size so no clothing was for me.
