Huge selection of high end brands! Would definitely recommend you go when you have real time!

This TJ Maxx has a lot of designer merchandise which I appreciate. But it's a small location and it's all about luck. Usually the heels that I want, I never find my size. They don't keep back stock of more sizes. What you see is what you get. Positive-Runway looks for a lot less from the original price. Their handbags selection has gone down with the variety. I appreciate their shoe collection a lot more. Their clothing area is ok, never bought from them because I don't have the patience to look for things in how they are on the racks. Their home furnishings are nice and I've bought different kitchen essentials from here. The store is usually kept up with organized areas throughout. But in holiday time like most stores, it's a hot mess in the evening times. I've generally found more items when I have gone just when they opened for the day. ~ read more

Founded in 1976, TJ Maxx has over 1,000 stores in the United States and Puerto Rico making it one of the largest retailers of clothing in the US. The clothes are name brand and similar in quality to what you would find at a department store like Macy's but with a discounted price. I came in to find a dress. I am not normally a fan of this kind of store where thousands of items are crammed together in racks and you have to hunt through everything to find what you want. If something does catch your eye they may not have your size because items are in limited quantity and inventory changes frequently. I am willing to do a cursory look around the store but if it takes too long to find something I usually give ip. It is well worth taking a look however because I always find the price tag to be a pleasant surprise. In addition to men's, women's, and children's clothes they also sell accessories, and they have a very nice houseware department. On this visit I noticed they had very nice quality jewelry that caught my attention. This store also has the Runway which is a department of couture items and pieces by high end designers. I tried on one of the dresses marked down from $598.00 to $150.00. Even at $150 it would have had to look amazing on and it had some weird tassels that looked like curtain tie backs hanging from the waist. It was still fun looking through the higher end merchandise. Although I left empty handed this time I have purchased gifts for people from this chain, purses, and really nice beach towels. The high turnover rate of inventory guarantees you will always see something new. This store seemed nicer than the one closest to my house. It's the kind of place that will get you to actually come in and look around instead of just buying something off the internet. Although I was not a Maxxinista this time I'll be back for the thrill of the hunt another day. read more

This is TJ Maxx? This is not the biggest store but they certainly have a lot of high end merchandise and more than one of each item. It doesn't seem picked through, and I purchased two items. I did ask an associate for help in finding something. I was offered assistance by a nice gentleman and he was great. The cashier was average as far as being friendly, no complaints. I was very happy with the product selection. I don't really care how they act as long as they aren't unpleasant. This will be in the rotation from now on. I'm not a big fan of these "shop for less" stores but must admit you do find some cool stuff once in a while. It's my first time at this particular chain, and location and it impressed me a bit. First thing I noticed was the designer section, mainly because of the beautiful strapless dress right in front. Immediately I walk towards it and to my surprise it's a Valentino, to my misfortune, it's $890 but the point is that, even if I could not afford it now, it's nice to know I have the option to find such a dress when needed at a discount price. Same goes with the D & G dress and Lanvin purse, both beautiful. Other than that, I like that they carry brands I like from stores like Nordstroms and Macy's, all in perfect condition. The store itself is organized in a way you can find your section quick now, the tricky part Is looking through them. People tend to make a mess or leave things wherever and out of place. So, if you're looking for a specific size look around, you might luck out. Dresses, shirts, accessories, shoes, and more at affordable prices. Will need to check this store out more often. read more

Really a store geared for female clientele, though there are some mens clothing offerings. More home decor items than at Marshall's, but basically a slightly upscale version of same. I really give it a low 2-stars because of the horrendously misleading advertising/sales tactic of their use of "compare at" pricing on all of their price tags. They admit, in the fine print, that these comparison prices are fabricated and NOT, I repeat NOT, based upon competitors' retail price points. This is huckster-hawking at its most low and basic level, and it is insulting. Plus, I just cannot respect blatant liars. Now, they do have some brand-name items (sometimes with damage or defect, so be sure to inspect) at discount from normal retail, but they are subject to class action lawsuit for a reason. read more

I brought my friend to this TJ Maxx simply because this location is unique in where there is everything you need. I'm not happy with the customer service I encountered last Sunday. My friend and I had a wonderful time until we encountered the employees at the cashier. Usually when you approach a cashier at a retail store they will greet you with the very least a "Hello". She was just unfriendly from the start. It didn't help when we had asked her fellow coworker for a price on the Tommy Hilfiger wallets that employee #2 proceeded to tell us there had to be the reduced price on the box. I simply was asking for the price since we had checked 3 other Tommy Hilfiger wallet boxes prior to asking her and there was no price to be found. After our cashier rang my items up she didn't even tell me how much my total was or speak with me. She acted like she didn't want to be there and it truly showed through her attitude. My friend and I were unfortunate to encounter her as our cashier. I've visited this store twice before and have always encountered friendly employees. I don't think its too much to ask for decent customer service. read more

I always wind up popping into this TJ Maxx when I come down to Boca. We inevitably forget bathing suits, sandals, you name it, and we always find what we need here at a pretty good price. I should also add that their selection of fragrances, audio accessories, and men's apparel is really strong, much better than the TJ Maxx's I usually shop at in NY. One thing that really bugs me though is that they forced some poor geezer to do a comedy routine with the people in the check out line. I suspect that the manager thinks it's a good idea to lighten the mood on the long lines by having an employee be "wacky". But seriously...this is making the wait FAR WORSE for everybody. Nobody wants to hear horrible jokes and have a back and forth about what's printed on the receipts. We just wanna pay and go...and I'm sure the guy they're trotting out there just wants to restock the sunglasses display in anonymity. I really hope this is just a temporary thing and that they'll come to their senses soon. It's unbearable. read more

I have a love / hate relationship with TJ Maxx. I love a great deal but hate searching the racks and shelves for a gem. I found a true gem at this location. His name is Angel and he is one of the nicest employees I have ever encountered. He made my return without a receipt fast and easy. He was so nice I actually let 4 people go ahead of me at checkout so I could wait for him to be available. Ok enough about Angel, this store was well staffed and appeared to be in good (clean) condition. If I need a TJ and I'm in Boca, I would come back here. read more

This store is great. As any discount store, it takes some luck to find things. The staff and managers are always helpful and friendly. This location is well kept and it's the first branch store I've visited that had a "runway" section of all Hugh fashion and designer brands like Lanvin, tory Burch, Valentino, and more. The prices were way into the three digits but still greatly discounted from the original retail price. Then there's a career section that features clothes safe for work. It's well labeled which is nice. The fitting rooms are very well lit and the rooms are large and clean. Very impressed. The tops section doesn't have alot of selection for the Fall season, they carry a lot of Naked Zebra clothing which are all sheer and free flowing, perfect for summer though. I did find quite a bit of Michael kors and Vince camuto clothing. The cashier that rang me up was a sweetheart and he told me to keep smiling. I love when there's a pleasant cashier, it makes the shopping experience so much better. read more

It covers the basics but there's no runway selection. What i dont understand about this places is why does as the women's dept get the runway section, but nothing men's??? not to mention the women dept is five times larger than the men's section.
