It's right on 441 in between Glades and Palmetto in the target/Aldi shopping center. Plenty of parking with the perfect spot just waiting for me right in front. A big selection of holiday paper is still in stock and a nice choice of foil paper too. A nice assortment of gift bags in various sizes and some last minute decorations. The only thing I couldn't find were candy canes. Of course I had to pick up a few other things while I was there. You can never have enough plastic storage containers, or potholders. With all of my family in town I was able to get some of those aluminum cooking trays, which can be thrown out when you're finished. The lines were moving today and the store was surprisingly neat and organized for this time of year. It was an easy, quick trip.

After having a delicious meal, I briefly stopped by this Whole Foods location to grab some strawberries and bananas to make smoothies at home. Inside was almost like a madhouse, with plenty of shoppers buying a variety of items. In the produce section, I picked up a package of nice-looking strawberries for $4.99 and a bunch of bananas for $0.69/lb. I walked around the store to see if I needed anything else, but decided to stick with just the fruit. Checkout was quick and I received satisfactory service from the cashier. I also noticed the strawberries were actually on sale, which made me happy. I look forward to another visit to Whole Foods to pick up fresh fruit for my smoothies or to buy as a refreshing, nutritious snack.
