We like this location. We find lots of goodies for great prices. We have gotten house stuff here, garden stuff, toiletries, snacks, coffee pods, rug. You name it, they may have it. They have mattresses here, ceiling fans, a/cs. Prices can't be beat. You can sign up for their emails and get coupons too. This location is much bigger than the one closer to my house, and much safer. Clearwater and Tampa's location are opening next weekend May 21st. They took over many of the Big Lots stores. read more

Shitty bathrooms.. shitty hours shitty job.. you have to have a really bad record and unable to get a job anywhere else to be able to put up with working at Ollie's .. all the employees don't want to do there job so management gets stuck rushing to get the freight out and don't get me started on the freight flow supervisor.. she constantly running around like a chicken with no head .. can't left more than 10lbs but they still promoted her to freight flow .. smh this job sucks. Oh and they don't tax the money they take out for insurance so you end up owing money at the end of the year instead of getting it back read more

You never know what you might find at Ollie's but they always have coffee, canned food and other items that are good and at a significant discount. They also have rugs, room-size or throw. Pots and frying pans I've seen advertised on tv again at least $10 cheaper depending on size you need. There's also a huge selection of books for kids to adults including puzzles type books. One time they had Colman tents really cheap and known brand room heaters at 2/3 off. Go back to get another of the specials, they most likely will be gone. read more

If you're looking to for the unfriendliest, most unknowledgeable and rude employees, this is the the place for you. I have shopped this store several times and it's hard to go without an issue--either the employees don't know where items are when you ask, respond rudely as if they don't want to be there, or mess up a transaction or return. Most recently had an issue with cashier Nathan when he couldn't do simple math and treated us like we were bothering him as we checked out and "manager" Brian who refused to perform a return on a defective item they sold to us, no apologies or interest in making it right. The lack of customer service is unreal. The store's appearance and lack of customers clearly reflects the management or should I say mismanagement. Everyone likes to save a little bit but with service like this I simply don't find it worth it. read more

Wow; the more I'm traveling the west coast of Florida, the more I'm finding an Ollie's! Much like the "Bargain Outlet" I browsed near Orlando, this Ollie's is yet another spawn of Building #19. It seems like everything is laid out the same; very cookie cutter in each Ollie's store. Hot new deals (ie the copper pans) are towards the front, the pallets of various java just to the left, electronics further to the left and books are to the right. Down in back is swag for the floors of your house: rugs, indoor / outdoor furniture, etc. Most things are priced at a ridiculously low rate - I purchased one of those Himalayan Salt Lamps for $9.99, and research says they retail at $30+ in places. All in all, and for some strange reason, I ended up buying about $50 worth of stuff... on top of signing up for the discount card. Card must be worth its free value if people line up at the registers and hand over this little yellow card... right?? Will I be back? Most likely, as it's a little closer than the other location I ventured to, on top of the fact I did like browsing the store... read more

I wasn't going to leave a review for one of our favorite stores until I read the spiteful one! This is one of our favorite places to shop. We know you never go to Ollie's looking for something in particular, you go with the excitement of what you'll find. It's like an adventure. Everyone who works there is always incredibly kind and helpful. I have seen the manager on more than one occasion go above and beyond. The nicer you are the more people are willing to bend. From the tone of the previous review I can only imagine how she treated the employees to have someone "refuse" to do something. Posting someone's name in a review and insulting them publicly is a whole new level of shameful. Do better. read more

Get a membership card for a discount on your order, then get random notices of days for discounts. I love this store. It is more like a Big Lots with better and most items are priced lower. Big Lots and dollar stores are less expensive if your not paying attention you'll wind up paying more for a lot of items throughout. You can count on there only being ONE register open and some senile retiree holding everybody up, there should be at least 2 registered open regardless ALL TIMES! read more

This store is a hodgepodge of stuff. It's all very inexpensive and you never know what they may have. Gets very busy on the weekends.
