When we first saw the Coffee Shop, it reminded of us the Starbucks you would find within a Barnes and Noble. Definitely not... The signage said that most of the holiday drinks were sold out. Someone from the bookstore walked over to take our order. We told them we wanted a cappuccino. It should've been a red flag when they tried to talk us out of ordering the beverage. They asked if we were certain we wanted a cappuccino because it was simply a small amount of coffee with a lot of foam. To clarify, a cappuccino is an Italian coffee drink made with equal parts espresso, steamed milk, and milk foam, creating a creamy, balanced, and frothy texture. I did not question what they said and simply ordered the beverage. When I brought it back to my family, they took one sip and immediately poured it out. They said it tasted like strong coffee in the bottom and nothing but foam in the rest of the cup. So.... Do not order waste your money on coffee from Joe Muggs.

Most books are on big pieces of plywood supported by saw-horses, so it's kind of a warehouse deal. If you shop at one store, you get a discount coupon for the other store. It goes both ways, so don't buy everything on one stop, go next door, use your coupon there, get another coupon, and come back here to finish up. If you're a book-lover or a fan of independent bookstores, you owe it to yourself to stop and browse if you are driving by on I-75. It's just 1/2 block from the Interstate highway. The other store has secular books: fiction, non-fiction, computer, children's etc. I was last here in November 2009.

Very high end and beautiful - perfect for a center piece in our front lawn. The customer service (via telephone and email) from the owner Rafael throughout the process was prompt and professional. I knew what product (this urn planter is manufactured by Orlandi Statuary) I wanted and did extensive research to find a place that offered a good price and the timeframe needed (lot's of other places sold the exact same planter). The cutest lil bookstore in downtown historic Fernandina Beach…read more We were strolling along the area after having a meal at the Salty Pelican and I couldn't help but stop by this bookstore. If you know me, I have a huuuuge soft spot for bookstores and this was no exception! Walking in, it had a great layout and a variety of books. There was one staff member who was super friendly and helpful. I didn't end up buying a book (I have way too many and didn't want to add any to my luggage for my flight home) but I ended up buying a postcard with a wonderful illustration of the view right outside. 5 star recommend, support independent bookstores!

We had stopped around the corner for a brewery and I saw all the shops of Redfern Village and decided to turn in and I cannot resist a Crystal store! I saw the name and ohh-ahh'd and pulled into a parking spot. It was raining, so we hustled out of the car and then had to run back for required masks. I lapped the store twice picking up various crystals and had to restrain myself greatly! Prices were excellent and I loved the huge selection! It's a small store and surprisingly busy even with the rain- but as often as customers were walking in- some were exiting with their new purchases. I bought a gorgeous piece of malachite- polished on one side and raw stone on the other. I also found a point of ruby zoisite that I couldn't resist- they had several amazing pieces of this stone that I wanted to scoop up! I think I also grabbed some Santo Palo for the house & a couple of candles. They have an extensive selection of semi-precious stones, polished and raw, candles, tarot cards, jewelry, smudging tools and more! Over-all- great shopping experience and I will be sure to pop back in next time I visit the island!

It feels so inviting in there. I love the children's section. All the colors and the wall decor is so fun. I've visited the Starbucks inside the cafe and it's pretty good but the one downside is you can't use the Starbucks app, but I know that's an overall B&N thing and not just this particular site. I do feel that they are typically understaffed and I realize this is a very small cafe but it gets extremely crowded in there and people are not always patient with the staff when they're clearly doing the best they can. My one negative about this B&N is that the black author section is very small and difficult to find. Maybe if it was in the main area more people would gravitate towards that section. Other than that, this is probably one of my favorite places to visit when I'm in a not so great mood and need a pick me up.

I asked one of the older female employees, who's got graying…read morehair and a rather rotund figure, where the fiction section was and she pointed at a shelf and said "right there" very rudely and then turned around and proceeded to not allow me to finish my question. So I called out and ask her if she could help me find a book and again a very snotty answer. When you come into a store that is struggling rather than just ordering from Amazon to help a smaller retailer, one would expect at least good semi friendly customer service from the employees.
