The two ladies at the front desk were warm and friendly, answering all of our questions very politely. The basketball court is a little smaller and has a lower ceiling than I am used to when playing volleyball. However, everyone that was playing was super friendly, respectful, and just absolutely wonderful to play with!! The lobby had several sitting areas and a ping pong table. The restrooms are very clean and they have a water fountain; just wished there was a filtered-water station to easily refill water bottles. There is also a weight room, but I believe you have to pay extra to be able to use it. So glad we came to try this community center out! The river was relaxing, the views were gorgeous, and the whole day just felt easy and fun. A huge shoutout to Spider, our guide, who truly went above and beyond. Not only did he keep the energy high with great vibes and a friendly attitude, but he also made sure everyone was safe and accounted for throughout the float. We noticed him picking up trash along the way. So awesome to see someone taking care of the river and setting a great example. He really cared about both the people and the environment. If you're thinking about doing a tubing trip in Harpers Ferry, this is the place to go--and if you're lucky enough to get Spider as your guide, you're in for a great time!

The entire experience probably took me 2 hours to get through both times. There are a total of 6 sites to go through filled with ziplines, ropes courses and obstacles. After going through the orientation and the first site walk through, you're pretty much on your own! There are instructors walking around monitoring from a distance but that's all. I like that there are water stations at the beginning of each site. The instructors are all friendly and helpful. Like I said, I had a great time and would recommend it to anyone interested in doing something fun!
