TLDR: do not hire for anything other than spot repairs for leaking roofs…read more So we hired this company to repair a leak coming down in our garage. Sales person came out for review to make an assessment on what would be involved. In the conversation they offered to clean the roof, I told them there's a lot of moss up there and they said they could easily do that. Oh they cleaned something, just not the whole roof. They got the entire north side of my house covered in caked on globs of dirt. This included everything around there like my A/C exterior fan unit, my trash bins, my shed, my storage lockers and my deck boxes. They left a hose, my hose, on the roof and running all night long until my wife spotted it the next morning. My front hose was also used, I know this because instant of rolling it back up using the roll they just left it all piled up at the corner of my house. Now told them about this, and the person who responds just always says they'll get in touch with their "experts" and let me know. Eventually they came back to finish cleaning the roof and clean up the mess on the side of the house. They came and went then I got home and checked, looked like they took about two seconds to clean some of the side but ran off to their next project. It was in no way clean or even in the condition it was in prior to their work. As for the roof being cleaned and moss control applied, I can't get all the way up on the 2nd floor roof to know but my HVAC company came out to do some other work related to "Smokey cedar smell in air ducts, & they climbed up to the 2x!: floor and took photos. There was no moss control applied on the 2nd floor roof and miss was growing everywhere on the west back side, yes this was the very next day after M&H came. Cleaning and moss control were services we agreed M&H would do.m, but they clearly didn't yet still charged me for it. Oh and that donkey cedar smell? Sawdust in the HVAC exhaust line from roof & vent repairs. So basically the roofing company offered a series of services they never fully executed. I had to hire a different company to complete the gutter work and re-clean the lower & upper roofs and apply moss control up on the 2nd roof. Then I had to clean out my HVAC vents, and I had to wash and scrub the exterior of my house. How are they still in business is beyond me.

They were very professional and informative through the whole project. They made a mistake and took ownership of it and came back out to repair it (needed 1-2 more hole vents in my eaves). More so, a couple years later, when I was getting chimney work done, it was noted I had a leak along my chimney. On the day we scheduled, his crew showed up on time, on the dot, and began working. They were pleasant, respectful of my property and cleaned up at the end of each day. It was fun watching them work, they were like a well oiled machine. At the end of the second day, Carlos called to let me know they'd be back for a couple more hours in the am to finish up and to make sure everything was cleaned up. We then arranged a time for me to pay him the balance owed and he showed up on time again. They were on time every morning (much to the teenager's vexation) and cleaned up every day. My driveway was actually cleaner than when they began. They completed the job on time and dead on the budget. I repeat, ON BUDGET. The quote was what they charged me. And to me, that means a lot. Please keep in mind that this is a family business. If they don't call you back straight away they will get back to you as soon as they can. To the review that commented about another roofing company saying they had a bad reputation... They're the competition, probably not an unbiased opinion. Also... We have a structure covering our front porch that always looked like an afterthought. Like it didn't really belong. They left nails laying all about in the driveway so we can get flat tires. They also didn't care enough to take some time to resolve drainage issues we asked them to address, so we are now stuck with them for the life of this roof too. Beware. You may as well hire some undocumented workers to do the work for you as hire a 'professional' roofing company around here. They are all about the same, shysters and scam artists.
