My class has at most 7 people, but they still set it up. The School is very active and tries to keep students engaged. My teacher is great and inspired me to study in China. I can't say anything about the way the school works for young children and high school students, but at recess (before COVID when we had in-person classes) they all seemed happy.

I come from the San Francisco Bay Area and they barely support the arts. How cool was it to see they have a small theater so that both cast and crew can work in a professional setting. Even just seeing all small posters of past shows made my heart soar knowing that the PNW cares about filling out their students' education by supporting their actors. The Evening Instructor, Dave, has been instrumental in my success as a driver. He has taken me aside and helped me, and other students, every step of the way. Being able to pinpoint areas we need to work on, and how to get out of a tough situation i.e; Backing at an odd angle, being stopped on a hill with traffic directly behind the truck, how to safely downshift, etc. He also stands behind his students as an instructor. He genuinely wants everyone to succeed. Very cool, very funny, awesome guy. The Pre-Trip Instructor, Nicole, has been awesome. When you're handed the Pre-Trip paperwork to study, it can be extremely intimidating. She instantly came up with solutions on how to memorize certain areas in various ways, from simplicity such as highlighting acronyms to using phrases and sayings to help solidify parts of the vehicle in your mind. She has no issue bouncing back and forth between students to make sure everyone is progressing at an appropriate pace. Very smart, very funny, super patient. Even if these two individuals aren't around for whatever reason, there are other people you could use for help as well. I was stuck memorizing an area and the Senior Vice President of the company had no issue giving me the time, helping get an area down. The ladies in the front office are super helpful as well. This company wants to work with you, not throw you on an assembly line, so to speak. 5/5 Would always recommend to anyone interested in acquiring a commercial driver's license.

The whole staff is European they do not have staff members or teachers that represent any of the students of color. Students have been in numerous fights they tend to get a harsher punishment as they are students of color versus their European peers. There is systemic institutional racism in this school and lots of bias and it shows. I literally had to tell the principle why we don't use the word slave anymore because it takes away someone's identity and dehumanitizes them that we use the bird enslavement. And she was so ignorant that she was like wow I didn't know. As in her correculum they still call people slaves. They don't even teach African history they just About learning about Plantation life. Which doesn't give the students of color a very good start. Taught African American history these students could be proud that they came from advanced civilizations that had irrigation systems way before Europe. But you wouldn't want to teach that because you only like teaching European ideology and accomplishments.

Children are successful with clear guidance after testing. Children who come from difficult backgrounds find success at our learning environment. When children move from out of state sometimes they are missing pertinent information and this curriculum after testing will help us spot where the gaps are. Every child should have this opportunity. Education is about continuously learning. When they do not have the building blocks how can they achieve? Sylvan fills the gap and many children come to us because they love the environment.
