Don and Val sold us our first hot tub. Now, on our third. Had to have the jet pump replaced. It took 3 weeks to get an appointment and another 3 weeks for the part. When the tech arrived at 125 an hour. Stayed for 2 hours. It took him a quarter of that time to set up ( wood block & tarp, tool box , then the part, then an extension cord then to return a filter to truck that I did not order. Needed a heat gun... Upon completion of the job, the tech did not replace the door correctly(missing screws), and the pannel was not flush. ... We purchased a new hot tub cover from Olympic Hot Tub as well as a lift, the overall experience was okay. Everyone we worked with was very helpful, the only real issue was them not requesting all of the measurements required to put the lift on. There was supposedly not enough room between our hot tub and one of our side walls to put the new lift on so we got the cover put on and just have a lift waiting to be put on. Will hopefully be getting someone here to move the hot tub a couple of inches so the lift can be put on. Ken, the installer was very informative and apologetic about this news, but it would have been nice to have some sort of refund based on this fairly large error and now having to pay a separate entity to install the lift. Purchased my fourth Olympic Hot Tub in February 2024 and was severely disappointed in the whole experience. First off, it sat in the driveway for over 2 months and on the 3rd attempt it was finally put in place mostly by a crew from a competitor company. Had to build an additional deck to make it fit because the lid flipped only one way- (I was told it would be easy to change it 90 degrees with additional support). It came with a new electrical box which I already had one- same as the new one and on the wall and wired. When I wanted a credit for it, I was told they would give me in store credit to make up for it, so I returned the fuse box to the store. Paperwork showed value of it in one place of $800 and it showed elsewhere of being included with no price listed. Tub was a demo and listed on the sales slip it included a full warranty. One of the pumps went south after about 3 months and was informed to have the warranty work done it would cost me a co-pay of $149 ????? My salesman told me he had never heard of a co-pay but I was told by the service dept. the company couldn't afford not charging for warranty work. I have to say, I have not had an experience with ANY company in years like we have had at Olympic Hot Tub. The level of customer service, product knowledge, proactive delivery support, and responsiveness is something America used to know about, but has since faded away. Olympic Hot Tub never lost the values that makes a company great. When we were looking for a sauna we researched them extensively. Based on our research Finnleo was the only company to buy from as they had superior ratings for craftsmanship and features. We were looking for the best quality, period. Olympic Hot Tub was the local dealer. When we visited their Seattle store, David, Don, and Patty all helped us. They were a cohesive team. Often with sales people you get the sense that if you are one person's customer, you have to deal with that person exclusively. Not at Olympic Hot Tub. We were THEIR CUSTOMER and every person was dedicated to taking care of us. Another impressive aspect of Olympic is that they only carry quality products. We went to a few home shows where vendors were hawking varying levels of hot tubs and saunas and many were clearly junk. Every tub and sauna we looked at at Olympic Hot Tub was obviously built to last. We decided on the Finnleo Duo infrared sauna. The sales process was extremely smooth. Next came delivery. Drew, the delivery coordinator was proactively contacting us the entire time. During the day of delivery, the delivery team was at our house exactly when they said they would be. The delivery guys were courteous, professional, and experts at setting up the sauna. They took exceptional care not to bump a wall, track dirt in our home, and cleaned up every bit of cardboard and plastic. When the sauna was set up, they walked us through all the features, and made sure we were ready to use our sauna. It turns out the delivery guys were contractors who work with other hot tub and sauna companies. They too said "Olympic Hot Tub is hands down the best company with the best products", which was very reassuring! We will be forever grateful and impressed by Olympic Hot Tub! We plan on buying our hot tub next year and we will ONLY buy from Olympic Hot Tub. read more

Okay...updating my initial review (I can't see the rating here/now, but assume it was five stars) to cover delivery and install. It's been about two weeks since our hot tub was electrified and began heating. Numerous problems. I'll start with Olympic: (1) no follow up after delivery to ensure the spa is running and operating properly; (2) no confirmation that we declined the "free prize" steps in exchange for an annual refill/cleaning; (3) no follow-up regarding the many troubles I had with delivery and setup. Now on to delivery and setup: (1) delivery company ran over my neighbor's landscaping and broke flagstone, with neighbor watching; (2) delivery lead then denied having run over landscaping, though it happened in plain sight; (3) spa was delivered incorrectly onto pad, requiring 90-degree turn; (4) spa was lowered onto electrical PVC line, bending and nearly breaking it; (5) I had to get involved with delivery to avoid crew breaking my electrical PVC; (6) spa lowered onto my new concrete pad, breaking off part of the pad corner; (7) electrical connection for sound system incorrectly wired to ground so once 240v electricity was connected the breaker would trip with any operation (Olympic sent a tech a day later to correct this problem nearly instantly, but we'd already lost the excitement of having the tub installed and wanting to use it - big family letdown); (8) the filters were improperly installed during delivery and came loose, floating in the hot tub the day it was started up. To add insult to injury, since the tub became operational it has not seemed to settle down chemically, and what's even worse, last night when family came over and we wanted to use it the temperature of the water was 107 degrees (!!!) whereas the temperature on the tub was set to 101 degrees. Neither the parents nor the kids were happy that the water was to hot, and it was embarrassing for me having spent about twelve thousand dollars for something that appears unsafe. I really enjoyed David and the sales aspect of my interactions with Olympic, but the execution of actually getting the tub and getting to use it has been mostly a failure. That said, when the Olympic technician came to address the failed electrical setup by the delivery company - and to be clear, it is not Olympic that delivers, they contract that work out, but I hold them accountable since they own the experience - the service technical had no trouble at all identifying the issue and fixing it, and was kind, courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. read more

We've been a customer of Olympic Hot Tubs for more than 35 years, so when our original hot tub failed, we used Olympic service to see if it could be rescued. Short answer: "no charge for service calls to evaluate, old tub is too old, too different from modern technology, best to get a new one. " David Bayless visited the site and helped suggest a new model, Pace and the changes to accommodate it. Delivery occurred as anticipated and delivery crew was resourceful in getting the new tub around the house and up onto its new platform. Sorry this is so long, quite a bit happened, very little of it good. First of all, my low score is for service and follow up, not the tub itself. We love it and are incredibly happy so far. The sales portion went very smoothly, Scott was awesome, answered all our questions, and followed up periodically between our order and delivery. There was some confusion getting our delivery and setup coordinated. No big deal, I just chocked this up to confusion that normally happens trying to coordinate three parties. There was a lack of communication when a specific breaker box was required by the electrician though. I had to reach out several times to get confirmation that the correct one would be provided. After setup there was a leak that I was finally able to figure out on my own because I gave up trying to get a response from the post-delivery team. It turned out to be the drain hose cap, which had cracked because it was not good quality, unlike the rest of the tub. I just ended up replacing it myself. Again, not a huge deal, but don't offer "contact us with any problems" if you will just ignore them. During delivery we were informed that the top we ordered was out of stock due to supply chain issues and we were being given a loaner top and that they would contact us when ours came in. Understandable and the loaner was nice, the lack of communication was displayed here too though, we had no prior notice it was out of stock. Flash forward three months and we still had not heard about the top being back in stock. I contacted Scott, our salesman, who responded promptly and said he didn't know and would forward our request to the Post delivery team. I reached out myself after not hearing anything back for several days. Several more days went by, and I reached out again, this time cc'ing Scott on the message and received a short response that the installers would be reaching out to schedule. No response back when I asked for more clarification. Another few days went by, and I was contacted by the installers notifying me that their team would be there within the hour. I was never contacted to schedule an appointment, was at work, and unable to prepare for them. I sent another email asking about this and of course received no response. I did finally call them a couple days later and luckily talked to someone other than the person who was receiving my emails. She was helpful, understanding, and followed up when she said she would. I was contacted by the install company and scheduled a day and time. As a side note I just received notice from them that they were running behind and would need to schedule for another day. So now I have to take another day off work. This is not directly Olympic Hot Tub's fault (install by another company), but it adds to the overall poor post-sale experience we have had and was the final straw in me writing this review. A delay due to supply chain is completely understandable, but no follow-up communication to give a customer updates is not the best business practice. The complete lack of timely and complete follow-up communication and having to cc other people just to get a response is horrible customer service and can turn people away from you regardless of how good of a product you have. Received the top finally, it did not fit the area. Part of the sale process is an install tech coming and verifying measurements and location. After several weeks of back and forth part of their response was, "Remembering please that there is a certain amount of responsibility that a consumer takes on when placing a special order item. For us, we now have an item we are trying to sell to a specialized consumer, and we are trying to do our best for our customers." I guess it is partially my fault for their measuring errors. I finally accepted the offer of a refund of all but half of the restocking fee. Doing best for their customer is charging ~$255 for their mistake. I did finally agree to this just to be done with that company. read more

I think we all understand that pricing has gone up across the market, but based on the significant difference in what others are paying for Hot Spring tubs in different regions I won't be getting a Hot Spring tub from Olympic. Since there aren't any other Hot Spring dealers who sell where I live, and they don't negotiate, I went with Costco instead. We had admired a friend's hot tub for years which she bought at Olympic Hot Tub. She highly recommended OHT having worked with them for years and so we contacted them and were connected with David. He was so helpful talking through all the issues about where to put it, giving us objective and thoughtful feedback about our different options and helping us come to an informed position. We settled on a model and delivery date and David answered our many many questions with great patience. We couldn't be happier with the model we chose or the service we received. David was very efficient and helpful, the delivery went beautifully and we love our hot tub. We use it at least once a day and have had questions over the last 6 months which either David or a service technician has answered. We purchased our first hot tub from Olympic Hot Tub Company in September 2011, and we've had it for about 5 months now! The purchasing experience was good. I loved that they had swimsuits that we could try on and actually get in the hot tub. The ones we thought we would love we didn't actually like at all, so it was really great to have the opportunity to get in the fully operating hot tub. My fiance works for Amazon, and Amazon employees get 10% off, awesome right? Not really. They had a sale going on where you got 9% off, so really we didn't get much off at all compared to if we were just regular since the discounts didn't stack. Bummer! Before the hot tub arrived it was great. They recommended someone to us who came and built a mini deck for the hot tub. It's holding up great. They also recommended an electrician who came and installed a special outlet for the hot tub and that's great too. The delivery was very good. They successfully navigated the hot tub down the stairs and into position on the deck. It was quite impressive. If you've never seen a hot tub moved, it is a very interesting experience. Durig delivery I couldn't turn on the hot tub to make everything worked since it needed to be filled up first. The lights didn't end up working! They had to send someone out to fix them - and it took a really long time. Took about a week for them to get someone out here, and another 1-2 weeks for them to order the part to replace it with and get it fixed. Real bummer since it was a BRAND NEW hot tub, they should be able to fix that immediately. About 2 weeks after we purchased the hot tub, it completely stopped working. It ended up being an issue with the wiring inside the tub. I sent a couple angrye-mails after it broke and managed to get someone out here the next day. It was still pretty annoying that I had to deal with that on a new tub. Ever since the issues at the beginning, everything has been great. Haven't had any more problems and I hope to never have any more! I'd recommend them as they have fixed all of my problems, and were great to work with, but I definitely think they have a couple improvements they could make. read more

The few times we did need any kind of service they were very good, and never had to wait to long for them to accommodate us. They also always have all the possible supplies you will ever need to run a tub. They are not a high pressure sales place, but answer any questions you have. I went to pick up supplies from Olympic Hot Tub Company's service center is Tukwila. The location's address and hours were available on their web-site. When I arrived the service center had been moved to a new location, further south. I e-mailed the company with my tale of frustration so they knew there was inaccurate information on their web-site. Shortly after sending the e-mail we received a phone call from the president of the company, Don. He apologized for the error and offered to personally deliver the items we needed. When we arrived home, the goods where on our front porch as promised. And also included was a Christmas card and two coffee mugs! We bought our first hot tub from Olympic in 1998 and again in 2017 (amazing a hot tub could last that long!). The service Don provided ensures we are customers for life! read more

Couldn't be happier!! I originally went to Olympic Hot Tub because of their outstanding reputation. I found the tub that I wanted and got my estimate with everything that I needed, including installation. It was a tad more than I expected, although I didn't know what to expect since this was my first hot tub. With estimate in hand, I shopped three other companies. Each time I just wasn't sure exactly what the final price was going to be. There were so many add on's and open installation quotes. It also became apparent that the quality of my tub at Olympic was far superior. I pulled the trigger with Olympic. The tub was delivered on time without any problems. I love Olympic Hot Tub Company. Love love! I shopped around for a hot tub for a few days. My search ended when I met Val at the Olympic Hot Tub. Something about her just made me want to stay and browse hot tubs! My budget was tight so she showed me my options and I bought an Emerald. She printed pictures and gave me handouts so I could take home and show my boyfriend also since delivery was a few weeks out. Delivery ended up being a few days earlier then estimated( Val helped me with that). Val also let the delivery guys know that I have dogs so I needed a heads up before they arrived. I also was at work so had to let my boyfriend know to lookout for them. And they did, the delivery guy called me an hour before arrival to let me know he was en route. After delivery, the delivery guys explained the start up chemicals to my boyfriend in a language he actually understood and could then explain to me when I got home from work. To make sure we are on track with the chemical they mailed me a water care guideline laminated sheet. They also provided the start up chemicals and cute rubber ducks! From start to finish I have been 1000% happy. They made a huge purchase easy as pie and worry free. Oh and I just got a $200 rebate check for the delivery promotion they were running for the month of March. This company blows my mind in how great they are!!! This business is one of the biggest scams I've seen in Seattle in a while. You spend several thousand dollars to get a tub. Just before it goes out of warranty, five or six years later, you schedule a service call to make sure nothing needs replacing or fixing. You get big thumbs up. A few years later, something breaks and you call in for a repair. The new tech shows up and points out that the tub has several non-working components because they only last 2-3 years each after which they need to be replaced. No one ever mentioned that before, no one bothered to fix it when they came and the tub was still under warranty, all the while the store happily continued to sell us replacement cartridges for the very thing that, apparently, hasn't been functioning for the past decade. Oh, and good luck to you if something else on your tub breaks. The tub is no longer being manufactured, so even the tiniest problem could mean that you have to toss whole things into landfill and get a whole new behemoth. But who cares? You get bluetooth! And come on, everything is better with bluetooth! Not to mention the new tub is soooo very different from the old one. I mean, the new tub holds water, and has a pump and a water heater attached. It's amazing how far technology has advanced over the years! Why are these people making and pushing out crap that they know will be obsolete in a couple of years? To screw you over, that's why. I highly recommend sticking to taking showers, rather than getting anything from this scam they call business. read more

We had an excellent experience from start to finish with David from Olympic Hot Tubs. Not only was he enthusiastic about his job but was very patient and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. Along the way nothing ever seemed to big or too small for David who even kept in contact with me during his days off. The delivery team was fast and efficient with their install and even seemed to be able to offer good advice for upkeep and where the tub should be properly placed for the maximizing the ease of upkeep and longevity. The tub is heating up as we speak and my first soak will be tonight, can't wait. It pains me to give Olympic Hot Tub Company two stars, but I suppose I must be fair--until recently, our fairly regular transactions with them had been fine. But then we decided to buy a new cover for our hot tub. We paid roughly $500 for the cover and $100 for the delivery. What did we get in return? It's pictures of our ruined lawn from where the delivery guy drove his truck across it., back and forth, tearing up our lawn. In addition to numerous tire tracks, the delivery guy thoughfully left a four-inch-deep, five-foot-long gouge. How on earth did he even DO that?? The mind boggles. When we called Olympic to report the damage done and request that at the very least, they refund the delivery charge, the manager refused to take any action until we emailed him photos. Having to send proof of the destruction of our lawn after being loyal customers for several years just added insult to injury. We won't be going back to Olympic after this. **Update - We did eventually receive a refund from Olympic for the delivery fee, and they sent the driver back to repair our lawn.** read more

Before anyone purchases their dream Prism Hot Tub with the Ace cell cleaner please read!! It will cost you thousands of dollars in parts So my husband and I purchased the Prism Limelight Hot tub with the ACE Cell Sanitizing system from Olympic Hot Tub back in December of 2019. We were very excited and had it scheduled to get installed on January 2020. Everything seemed to be going well however about a few months or so after we got it installed it didn't seem to be registering the salt very well. So we just shrugged it off to "new user error" and we cleaned the ace system per instructions, purchased new filters (we assumed that we may have clogged the other ones so to make sure that nothing damaged the ace system we purchased additional filters so that the system could still function with clean water while the other filters got a thorough cleaning). We had a service technician out and check the system and they couldn't find anything wrong with it. We ended up purchasing additional salt, chlorine, alkaline, PH balancer, etc. All in an effort to get the system right. We drained the tub cleaned it thoroughly and added the chemicals to the tub. We went through quite a bit, because if anyone out there has had a hot tub getting system balanced requires a variety of combinations of chemicals and salt. After we got it to a "reasonable" (the system still wasn't registering quite right) level we decided to call and get it serviced. Due to the virus it took almost a month to get someone out to check it out. So after an inspection and going through all of my salt (I was a little perturbed at the fact that they didn't carry any chemicals with them... I figure with the price of the service call they could at least test the tub with chemicals they had-otherwise you have to make sure that you have a full stock of everything when they arrive) Anyways the main issue I had was that he found that the ACE CELL system went bad. He said that they "go bad about every two years" and since we had the tub a little over a year it was past the warranty period... I was thinking "Fine just get the thing fixed" and when he came back with the price he said that the part alone was $1000.00...yes, you read it right, one thousand dollars! You can imagine how shook I was when I heard that this very expendable part cost so much! He mentioned that the could install an entirely new filtration system that could cost around $400.00 but we would have to check the tub once a week and go through more chemicals- I was thinking to myself that we went through an extensive amount of chemicals already with us trying to get the tub water balanced and then having the service technician use the last of our salts. So I just told him to go ahead and repair the unit- I figured that I could have a long discussion with their customer service rep about this, because I saw a paper in our "new customer packet" that said 5 year warranty on various components. So I tried calling the Seattle office and got a lot of "hmms" and "I don't know what to tell you" So I emailed the manufacturer about my experience and frustration with the fact that we were never informed that this revolutionary tub would be costs us a minimum of $1000.00 in parts every two years (if it works properly... ours didn't last that long). Here is the email that they sent back And this is the response that I got from them three weeks later "Hello, I apologize for the delay in reply to your email. I understand your concerns regarding your warranty and am happy to help clarify your warranty coverage and limits. The store was correct that the Ace cell has a 1 year warranty and is expected to run anywhere from 1.5 to 3 years before needing replacement. I have attached a copy of the Ace owner's manual here. The warranty info is contained on page 12 and 13 of this manual. The Component warranty generally covers items critical to the spa functioning, and does clarify here that not all items fall within this warranty. "Spa covers and other hot tub accessories are specifically excluded from this warranty, although they may be covered by other warranties. Please check with you Hot Tub Spring dealer for details" I hope this helps to shed some light on why the cell would not be provided at no charge. Please let me know if you would like to discuss this further or have any questions." We bought a tub from this company a little over a month ago and have experienced lots of weird miscommunication in putting it in - like having the tub put in backwards. Then we had some sort of pump go bad. And now more weird miscommunication where workers come out, but without the part that is needed, and without internal communication with their own company. We told them what part was bad, they said it would be about a week, and the guy comes out today without the part! Stuff like that from the start. We felt like we got all the details we needed. The wet-test and purchase options were important to us. We had a wonderful experience buying our first ever hot tub from Patty at Olympic hot tub. We bought our Prodigy two years ago and we really love it - now we wouldn't be without it. We have 3 little kids and it's such a great family activity - like games night or movie night we now have a hot tub night before bed. I bought my first hot tub from Hot Springs in 1990, deemed, " The Dog Bowl". Named for it's look, simple in design but super functional, a barrier free unit. It served us well for 25 years, truly a bullet proof tub. Yes ,I had to replace some parts ,however, never the heater.
