They have always let me run my car through again with no issue. I told him that my car is unusually dirty and it's not my fault if their machine can't always clean it completely. He didn't care. I explained that I've never had an issue in the past. Yesterday I came to this establishment to wash my mom's car as part of her Mother's Day treatment, and I had such a wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the employees were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. But what really stood out was how kind everyone was when I accidentally locked myself out of my mom's car. The one lady working there generously let me use her phone so I could call my husband and get AAA on the way. While I was waiting and sitting on the curb, one of the male employees kindly brought me a chair to sit in. I was even offered bottled water a couple of times by the employees. It was around 6:30-7:00 PM, so it wasn't even hot outside, but the thoughtful gestures truly meant a lot to me. On top of the amazing customer service, this place is very efficient, and their vacuum cleaners work great! I especially love the extra narrow nozzle attachment that makes it easy to vacuum between the seats. They also sell towels for just $1 if you need one. This might be the worst car wash I have ever been to. The space doesn't allow for an efficient car wash. It's $15 for a "5 minutes express car wash". Once you get out of the car wash, the line for about 6 spaces of the vacuum blocks both the entrance and exit. First time here and will never be back. read more

I think the car wash itself is great. However, there needs to be a time limit and monitoring of the vaccum services. The last two times I've gone for a car wash, there's always a LONG line for the vaccums, and it blocks cars from trying to leave/enter the lot. I understand the vacuum service is free, but there is long line of car leaving the wash that need the service too but have to end up leaving (myself, included) because other customers take way too long. There is sometimes an employee outside guiding cars to which spot to go to, but they need to make this somehow more efficient and equitable for other customers. read more

They lowered their monthly subscription rate which is a plus but a huge pain point is still the vacuum area. I've noticed cars taking 20-30 mins in the vacuum area today, people sitting in their cars on their phone, or brining personal cleaning supplies to clean the interior of the car or their windows instead of using the vacuums. A couple cars in line left out of frustration. I think management needs to make the sign with the suggested 5 min time limit more noticeable. read more

i've had a membership for Speedwash since the $19.99/mnth days and I'm just now finding out that if you have it, you can go to any one of their various locations. BIG PLUS. this location is pretty quick - but i also got there at the perfect time. by the time i was exiting the wash the line was out the lot. it's fairly small, if it's busy you'll be waiting a bit to vacuum your ride. wash was okay - doesn't really get the big spots with dirt and debris that might be a couple days old. the vacuum suction was mid - i feel like the one at their Silverlake location is stronger. read more

Well first you'll wait in a very long line to go through the car wash. Then after going through the very short car wash, it won't wash anything off your car. You now have the honor of paying for a towel and handwashing your car yourself. Woo hoo! Wait. "Didn't I just pay for a car wash?" You ask incredulously. Yep, but it doesn't wash your car. Typically it takes two attempts for anything substantial to happen. And they won't let you go through a second time. Instead they tell you to open your wallet and put a little elbow grease into it. Which you could've done at home. Yay! I also enjoy paying for services I could've completed at home. That's the end of the fun part of this review. The rest of this is going to be context as the astute will have noticed this is my third review. Read on only for context. It all started one fateful night when I came here to wash my car using the coupon they had generously given me after I was dissatisfied with my last washing serval months ago where they wouldn't let me go through the tunnel one more time and insisted I pay a second time. I went in expecting to use my coupons. They gave me two. However, upon arrival I was informed that the coupons were expired. Very funny, I know. I was also laughing. Luckily, the guy manning the pay machine was cool and said he'd honor one of the coupons. I genuinely appreciate that he did that. I went through the tunnel, they forgot to fold in my mirrors so they were being whipped all over the place, and lo and behold: the car was not clean. There was bird poop and other stuff still on the car. Just like old times. I asked if I could run her through again. The other attendant said no. He told me to buy a towel and give it the ole elbow grease. He then wildly told me that he knew about me. I stared at him. I then pointed out that I was content never coming back to this establishment and that the manager had asked me to change the review and encouraged my return. So here I was. And yet, repeat it with me: Nothing. Ever. Changes. I talked to the first guy and he was cool again and gave me a towel free of charge. I then spent probably the better part of an hour to an hour and half handwashing my car. Sadly this is where the fun ends. The review is complete. I got the $17 single wash and it was ok, it did what I needed to do. It is a very cramped small lot for the amount of cars going through. It's a tight turn into the lot and also another tight turn to get into the wash. There's only about 6-7 vacuums and not much space for cars to wait for one so then cars end up blocking the entrance/exit (once they run out of space for cars to wait for a spot to open up you just need to leave). People are fully detailing their cars in the vacuum spots and can be occupying a vacuum space for a very long time, there are signs asking for customers to be courteous but no enforcement. If they can hand out handheld vacuums for customers waiting to help move things along that could be helpful. There needs to be a better system of enforcing the time limit policy for the vacuums as unfortunately people will ignore a sign. I skipped the vacuum as I didn't want to be sitting in that small lot for 30-40 mins, it's not very speedy if you need to wait around that long. Yes the line is long, yes it's awkward to wait for the vacuums and air dryers, yes the wash will not remove all bird poop or dead bugs, particularly on your windshield and bumper. However, for $15-$30 per wash depending on which option you select, it's hard to beat the deal. Just bring a towel to wipe off some stuff that didn't come off. I was nearly involved in a three-car pileup that resulted in damage to my doors. In this car wash, vehicles are spaced close together track just to move the line faster, which is risky when there is zero staff monitoring the tunnel. While I was still being pushed forward by the track, the car in front of me actually came off the tracks (they took their car out of neutral too soon) and I was headed directly into them. I was laying on my horn the entire time, but since no one was watching or listening to hit the emergency stop, I was forced to first brake and then accelerate off the track to avoid a collision in both the front and back from the person behind me. It was during this evasive maneuver that the wash equipment scratched my car. This entire ordeal could have been prevented if they had simply spaced the vehicles properly or had an attendant actually watching the process. I reached out to the manager to address the repair costs for these scratches but did not get a response. I highly recommend going to a one-at-a-time wash where you aren't at the mercy of an unmonitored track system because this place is completely unresponsive when their negligence causes you a loss. read more

This is not a very good place. It breakdowns often and poorly managed. It is busy and too small of a property to handle all the cars that come through. Not enough parking spaces to dry your car. Also people park in the handicapped spot who are not handicapped. The manager or workers do not ask the person parked in the handicapped spot (who does not have a handicap plaque) to move. I have been to many of these self-drive through and self-vacuum washes over the years throughout the United States and it's my preferred method of washing the car. No one wants dirty smelly strangers in their car using dirty towels. I can give you a great assessment of this one. On the first pass through the wash missed the back windshield and the front windshield. I pointed that out to the wash manager who inspected and quickly agreed that I need to go through again. On the second pass, it still missed the back windshield, but got the front windshield. After 2 washes it left the overall surface with light coat of dirt but got off the heavy dirt. Compared to about 30 different similar washes I have used over the years--this one was the worst. And I going to tell you why it was worst because I know a lot about the car wash business--they don't have the real estate here to have a Tunnel long enough to install competent wash equipment. They are stuck with a short tunnel because if they made it longer, cars would not have room to turn in or out of the tunnel. The turn in is already sharp and requires great skill from the loader. The equipment they are using is good if your car would sit still in the tunnel for 5 minutes like at a gas station wash while the equipment goes back and forth over the car a few time, but they are moving the cars through at such a pace that it's overwhelming the equipment and missing spots. There is nothing they can do to improve it without moving to another location. It is what it is--the tunnel is too small. If you come here expecting a good to great wash--you will be disappointed. If your car is covered in dirt and you don't want to drive to a better wash or spend more than $10 and just want to get the top dirt off--you may be satisfied but it may completely miss some spots and you will have to ask to go though again. My position is that I would only come here in an emergency--when I can't get to the better self-drive through washes in Hawthorne or South Bay. If I took my garden hose and sprayed down the car--it would turn out just as good as this wash. And as I have written about other automatic washes with spinning brushes--you don't bring a new car here--these are only for older cars that have scratches and blemishes. It will scratch up a new car and you will be upset. From a value standpoint--$10 for a wash here is $5.00 over priced. It's a $5.00 gas station car wash masquerading as a professional car wash. Regarding the vacuums. They are excellent if you can get near one. The first time though I got one of the 5. The second time there was a line of cars waiting, and while I did not need it--I could not have waited for one. Management needs to put up large signs like the other washes that say: "If someone is waiting for a vacuum, limit your cleaning to 5 minutes." I saw too many people drying the car, and not vacuuming. This wash is too small to allow drying--that can be done on the side street after you quickly vacuum. Some washes have an "enforcer" that makes sure you only vacuum and go--that's the only fair way everyone can get a shot at the vacuum. It's not an easy job, but someone has to be the "tough guy" (or woman) on the lot. And it's not an easy job writing these reviews pointing out deficiencies. I had high hopes that our neighborhood had a new great car wash at a reasonable price and was sorely disappointed and sorry to have to report. read more

Staff are all really great which makes this review greater than one star, but my compact car came out with two very noticible long scratches on the top that were very obvious against the black car surface. I've never really had an issue with machine washes and the minor scratch is usually not a big deal to me, but these were larger and more visible than average. Furthermore, much of my car's surface still had spots of pollen stuck on the exterior. A very weak, yet rough wash that isn't even for a particularly competitive price. read more

FALSE ADVERTISEMENT...Bought the "Unlimited" package and while the automated wash sounds like it's working well, there was still a lot of dirt on my hood. I was able to go through 4 times the first day in order to really get the grime off. Fast forward a couple weeks later and I went through the wash in the morning then noticed it still wasn't clean. I didn't have time to go a 2nd round in the morning and returned later in the evening to go the 2nd round. I figured, I'd go a 3rd time just in case and was told there was a 2x daily limit. I called and the person confirmed that there's a 2x daily limit and she told me that first day, they give 3 washes. When I said, that's not unlimited, she said you can come everyday. That still doesn't mean UNLIMITED. Reply to Aaron: Still doesn't mean UNLIMITED. And no where does it say that there's a daily limit. read more
