The front desk would lock the lobby late at night and if they were concerned about safety, but they were always there at the desk available to let me in when I needed. The staff was outstanding, 6 out of 5 stars! Jersey was wonderful and so patient when setting up mine and my co-workers reservation (that was a bit complicated). Trinh was the staff that was often there during our stay in the mornings and she was so helpful in processing important paperwork for our business trip to ensuring our housekeeping needs were met daily. Finally, the location was perfect since our work was based near the SEATAC airport, but also only a short drive to Downtown Seattle. We were a quick 15 minute drive to the SEATAC airport or Downtown Seattle in this location (dependent on traffic, going to the airport we were often traveling in the opposite direction of traffic for our work schedule). Some great options for food just a short walk away from the Georgetown Inn, and also the Georgetown Brewery was only a short 10 minute walk away as well! Highly recommend staying here!

I would like to file a complaint about one of your breakfast attendants in the Orchard Room on July 3 at approximately 8:45 a.m. My experience was extremely uncomfortable and unlike anything I have ever experienced at a hotel. In fact I don't think I ever experienced in my life and I been to many hotels! I arrived about 10 minutes before breakfast ended because I wanted to grab a croissant and a coffee to go. I was the only guest in the breakfast area at the time. From the second I walked in, the breakfast attendant was staring directly at me. Then she literally started FOLLOWING ME around and COMPLAINING on everything I was doing. Like she was coming up to me and literally RIGHT NEXT TO ME and staring at what I was getting and then glaring at my face. WTF. Like for example, when i was getting the croissant, she was angry I was using a napkin to carry the croissant instead of my hand...I literally paid $170 for the night and I can't use a napkin to carry my croissant?? I never had someone do that at a hotel before, it was inappropriate and super unprofessional. She had an angry and crazed bizarre look on her face, just angrily glaring at me and literally following me around the small room. It was SUPER unsettling and unhinged behavior, I was the only one in the room and that made it more uncomfortable. None of the other staff members I interacted with during my stay behaved this way. Every other employee was friendly, welcoming, and professional. While I was getting coffee, she came up to me and asked why I was using two coffee cups. I had simply placed one cup over the other because the coffee was very hot and I wanted to make it easier to carry. Being questioned over something so minor, especially after being stared at and followed around the room, felt completely unnecessary and inappropriate. At that point, I decided to leave the breakfast area because I no longer felt comfortable staying there. As I was walking out, she sarcastically called out, "Thank you for coming," which felt mocking given how she had treated me. Then she started following me around again after I didn't want to talk to her because I was so creeped out!!! For identification purposes, she appeared to be an older thin woman with pale skin, glasses, and faint reddish eyebrows. I have never had a hotel employee stare at me, follow me around a breakfast area, and then question me over using two coffee cups. It made me feel uncomfortable, unwelcome, and singled out. I hope management reviews this incident and reminds staff that guests should be able to enjoy breakfast without feeling like they are being monitored or intimidated. Also since she was literally following me and harassing me, I asked her for her name and she refused to tell me which implies she probably knew what she was doing was inappropriate and didn't want to get found out

Was told each call that staff would check with Housekeeping and call me back. They never called back to let me know. I thought it was very unprofessional and plain rude! Located on a bluff above Eagle Harbor, there is ample outdoor seating to enjoy the massive expanse of water and sky. A curving set of wood and stone steps lead down to the water where one can barbeque, go kayaking, sit and relax, or walk on the beach. I saw an eagle swoop on some cormorants that were sitting out on a floating dais (they dove and easily escaped him). The view of Mt. Rainier from the beach is unique and if one walks down a ways one can see the Seattle skyline. The place is everything it is advertised to be: the windows overlook Eagle Harbor with the ferries coming and going, the kitchen is well equipped and the stove has gas burners, the bed is very comfortable, the television has more channels than I would ever watch, Wi Fi is free, the bathroom is clean and the showerhead is powerful. The owners were friendly and honored my privacy. Photographers, artists, birdwatchers, couples, small families, kayakers, an individual looking to relax - I could go on - will all find something here. I found true peace and quiet.

The owners live upstairs but I never heard/saw them, however, they make it very clear in the information they email you that should you need ANYTHING during your stay don't hesitate to just let them know. It was private, quiet and beautiful. For someone who only gets one vacation a year, it was exactly what I needed and as mentioned, I will definitely be back next year!

There were no complimentary water bottles in my room or available at the front desk.

She also said that while she had availability she wasn't just an overnight hotel and that we should call Hotels.com to get our money back. "I don't know who you paid, but you didn't pay me." There were 3 rooms listed on Hotels.com. We booked The Dahlia room. The owner didn't even have the courtesy to come and speak to us in person and offered no assistance. A terrible experience.

Stuck in the shower two days with no body soap. The bathroom didn't have all the towels upon check in. Had to call and request them. No shower mat was provided (until the second day) so I had to use towels and discovered upon doing that how filthy the bathroom floor was. The towels used as bath mat were gray with dirt and the floors felt sticky. Disgusting. TV didn't work right. Kept buffering and freezing making it difficult and very frustrating to watch. Lock on door to room didn't work properly so had to use the physical key every time. It has a keypad with code that wasn't working so it would not lock. Also--no further security lock latch on the inside like most hotel rooms so anyone with a key on the property could enter. Didn't feel very safe. Front door to Garden Building, where room was, stuck so badly and did not latch properly that that meant the building was unlocked overnight. When it was latched (after I left I had to slam it hard), came back and could barely get it open. It took three times of entering the code and I had to kick the door and pull and pull on it for it to open. VERY frustrating. This cute, little room and inn has so much potential but this big miss on these issues means I will not return and tell others to avoid the property. Any claim of a view of the water is exaggerated as it's a tiny peek from the room I was in which was on the far end of the Garden Building. Icing on the cake is that in the Inn at Pleasant Beach area has the worst WiFi. Phone calls dropped in the room and as soon as I went by the restaurants and shopping area, my phone has no service and was even on "SOS". *This place is not worth your money.*
