The person assigned to assist me (I don't recall names/faces well) put the new segment/seemless/clicker ring in the lower lobe/1st instead of the upper/2nd lobe spot. I don't now how they missed the 2nd lobe because I had a light blue plastic place holder in the 2nd lobe so it wouldn't close up, we talked about it to confirm which one it was, and they saw me take the blue plastic out. Yes, I should have asked for a mirror once they finished to confirm they did it correctly but I trusted they knew what they were doing. I didn't notice, my friend pointed it out a bit after I left the shop, my friend moved it into the correct spot for me. Customer service was normal when I first went in but I didn't feel like driving back, finding parking, and blah blah blah over this. Think this was the breakdown, they didn't provide a receipt and I paid cash. Cost was $30 for the sterilized segment ring, $5 for the service, and I gave a $5 tip.

Their meat department is good as is their produce. The service is very nice, but the place gets packed, to they need to hire more staff. The staff is kind and happy. Under the ADA, staff can only ask two things: (1) is the dog required because of a disability, and (2) what task is it trained to perform. They cannot demand documentation, ask about your disability, or require the dog to demonstrate the task. They also can't impose made-up handling requirements -- the only standard is that the dog must be "under control" (leashed/harnessed unless that interferes with its work, in which case voice/signal control is fine) and housebroken. There's no ADA rule that a service dog must be on the ground at all times or "contained" in a cart.

There were almost no customers, so you would think they had their own restocking to do instead of monitoring what I was doing. Plus it was super-dusty. I guess those bishes didn't dust? What absolute bishes. Maybe it was because smartphones were newish in 2011? I had just been at Erewhons and they were all supernice to me there. The contrast was glaring. While this was in 2011, it left a very bad taste in my mouth, so I can't support their business when they treat visitors so poorly. I probably should have immediately complained to management.
