He conceded that the cashier should've told us, and that they're supposed to say no returns or exchanges on ladders. But even a half-assed "sorry" in there would've done it. No, his response was literally "I WASN'T BORN YESTERDAY PEOPLE USE THEM AND RETURN THEM ALL THE TIME." Please explain to me sir how I could've used a ladder that is STILL in its original packaging??? You think I would risk breaking my neck for a return at your shitty garage store? We weren't even trying to argue to still be able to return it, just letting him know that they should say that at check out and he just kept yelling over us. Beyond unacceptable. I rented a gas powered "jumping jack" compactor, to tamp down some decomposed granite. Brand new device. Worked like a charm. To be fair: because it's such a small place, they might not have *everything* you'd want. So, for example, I'd hoped to rent a vibrating plate compactor, but no luck. They also didn't have any wheelbarrows, which I needed. But the *do* have ladders, which I'll also be needing. So it's a bit hit-and-miss, selection wise. But the personal service is such that I just can't give 'em any fewer than 5 stars.

They have nice chandeliers too.The owner, David, is a charismatic man who extends a warm welcome every time I walk in. Their prices are fantastic and I always walk out knowing I got the best possible deal. Overall, I definitely recommend this place.
