She was hospitalized for 6 weeks prior to this and left with the dr orders for drain management, infection control and physical therapy. 3 days later, 2 of them being the weekend, they declared that her needs were met and were working on discharge! She did not get her meds in a timely fashion, and had to ask for them multiple times. There is a community restroom that doesn't lock, so people can walk in on others using the restroom, and the Physical therapist observed my aunt sweating from the exertion of simply sitting unassisted and called her good to go, "her needs are met." But also "she should have supervision using stairs and shouldn't be left alone for more than 8 hours." I told her she wouldnt have anyone to do that, she informed me that she could be supervised by phone. This place is trash, the management is inept and it is very much worth less than a 1 star rating. The CNA that showered my aunt on her 3rd day there, was pretty great tho.

Recent example was the influenza outbreak in Washington state. The entire professional team expeditiously confirmed that all protocols were in place and being observed. 3. Medical professionals who manage the distribution of pharmaceuticals as well as monitoring vital signs of residents. 4. Phenomenal staff who assist with many aspects of general care of residents. 5. Housekeepers keep the facility looking great! 6. Facility maintenance impeccably handled by the versatile Pat White. 7. Even late in his life, relationships were very important to my father, and the people at SIM Adult Family Home were just the right people for him. He was there for five months before he passed, and we truly believe that the owner, Sim, and all the caregivers, truly cared for him, both physically and emotionally. I admit that he was still adjusting from going to an independent apartment with his own living room, television, and bedroom, to one bedroom and a shared bath, but he was indeed adjusting. The other residence were friendly, the food was good, he could have his privacy when he needed it, and I am very happy with the choice we made for him. I highly recommend this family home for anyone who needs a caregiver, or hast to make a decision for a caregiver.

Apparently, it became so bad that I was reported as being verbally abusive... And the company decided my home was too volatile for them to be comfortable sending in another caregiver.... They never asked me why these accusations may have been made, although she was being paid to basically sit on her bottom - vape-play slots on her phone, check her RING cam, and look at ME when he needed assistance! YET..... Once this certain caregiver was gone from my home, it was realized she was "suggesting" to him that I was abusive, he would be better off without me, I was just trying to put him in a home, he could get 24/7 care in home (false) through the VA, etc.... Since this agency is no longer involved, my home is peaceful & serene again, I have competent caregivers, and there have been ZERO complaints from my husband, the new agency, caregivers, the state, etc..... This agency could have been a godsend to my family, but they need to also realize their employees are NOT the only voice that should be heard....
