We moved to Alta end of March and it has not been a pleasant experience. When we moved in there were three items that needed to be completed at a later date after a light refresh on the Town Home in between tenants. It's now October and our list of open work orders continues to grow and has not changed since March and the customer service and maintenance staff is lacking to say the least. There is no advance scheduling to get the work done maintenance stopped by today unannounced to ask if we still have open work orders and asked what needs to be fixed which is a joke considering we have had multiple work orders open since March. It's a never ending loop of poor customer service and excuses. We had water damage from the rain in May damaging the flooring and causing mold to form around damaged area and we sent pics and still no sense of urgency. The garbage pick up process is horrible and I feel terrible for the tenants in the apartments next to the smelly indoor trash-chute. Adding to an already frustrating situation the building sold a couple months ago and is now under new ownership and they are raising the rent $400 a month! $4k a month seems like a lot for a Town Home that is outdated and needs a lot of maintenance. I've lived at multiple luxury apartment complexes in the past but this one is far from luxury, although it claims to be. The grounds of the complex are disgusting, there is dog waste all around the perimeters of the complex. So if you enjoy walking your dog or strolling for exercise in the evening, it can be very unpleasant. There will always be lazy dog owners that don't pick up, but every luxury complex I've lived at has a groundskeeper to clean up litter and waste to keep the property as clean as possible. You will also run into trash cans filled to the brim because the groundskeeper doesn't come around for days at a time. But if you just work, come home and go straight to your apartment, you should be okay. I know all apartments will have thin walls and you'll always be able to hear your neighbors but never have I ever been able to hear my upstair neighbors vacuuming or playing their piano, until now. These are the cheapest, thinnest walls ever. If you decide to live here, lease a unit at the very top with no one above you otherwise you'll never have peace and quiet. The unit across from me had flood damage and a mold problem developed in the hallway as a result. When I moved in at the end of June, I noticed the problem and called the office. They told me they were aware of it and it's being worked on. A month later, nothing was done still, so I contacted the manager. He assured me he would work on it. By August, still nothing had been done so I decided to contact corporate. They sent people to come replace the warped, water damaged base boards but left the water damaged flooring still intact. Now it's a month later in September and the mold odor is still terrible, not to mention a health hazard. The daily mold exposure causes me to be congested, sneezing, etc every day. This is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. I've had pleasant experiences with all past apartments I've stayed at until now. It's truly unpleasant in almost every aspect. The only thing this property has going for it is its ideal location on West 7th, but other than that, I would not recommend this place at all. read more

I can't get out of here fast enough. Something infuriating is always broken- whether it's the main access door to the building I live in (which has been broken off and on for about 4 months now- that's a lot of fun throughout the winter when you have to walk around the building in the freezing and/or rain trying to find a door that works while carrying groceries/babies or otherwise). Currently, it's the broken main access elevator that's been infuriating me for the past 23 days (the front desk corrected me when I said it's been 4 weeks, excuse me, it's been 3.5 weeks- but who's counting?). It looks like we're not even on the radar for it being fixed, which is fun when you live on the 4th floor with dogs. And, imagine making a Costco run with no ely. I've lived in enough apartments to know every place has problems, but this is by far the most untimely with fixing them. Can't stand it. I recommend if you move here, you live on the first floor. Then you don't have to worry about all the main access points breaking, you can just focus on all of the bugs/pests. read more

Where do I begin? The wife and I have been residents of the Flats at Alta Left Bank since March of 2018 and we still enjoy it very much here. For me, the staff plays a major role in how one's experience goes while renting an apartment. The staff here is simply amazing. I have zero complaints. Everyone is more than helpful and always smiling. If any of them were having terrible day I never noticed it. If only the Flats at Alta staff could train the staff of other businesses on how to treat a customer... The apartments themselves are still like new and the staff does a great job keeping things extremely clean. That brings me to the amenities - they're on point. I don't know the names of all the spaces, but the main hangout adjacent the office is nice. This is where the staff hosts Happy Hour every Wednesday. Then there's a very nice community kitchen next to that. There's your standard apartment gym and then there's also a spin room with spin bikes. The pool area has cabanas and a badass pool house in which you can chill, play pool, eat, etc. The location is the second biggest reason we moved here. Virtually everything we would need or want is within walking distance. We can go out for drinks and walk home safely or pickup a few things at the grocery store...very efficient location. It's literally located next to the Trinity Trails as well. Also, when I do have to drive I-30 and I-35 are both within 5 minutes. Not to mention we are 2 minutes from downtown. The only negative I can think of is the lack of parking in the gated areas. It's not a huge issue, but it's a bit annoying not being able to park near my door sometimes (first world problems). This is the reason I deducted a star. Other than that I got nothing. Overall, the wife and I have had a pleasant experience living here and would recommend it to anyone wanting to live near the heart of Fort Worth. read more

I'm in the process of relocating to FW and unable to physically tour the community and apartment I'm looking to lease. Hannah made it a priority to virtually bring the apartment and community to me. I've not seen anything like this place since leaving Cali. The amenities are top notch and they spared no expense on the interior finishes inside the apartment and the spacious layouts can't be beat. I'm also NOT a fan of carpet and love the fact the unit I'm leasing has none....I'm totally WINNING!!! The price point to live here is pricey but you get what you pay for and I'm a girl who doesn't mind paying for the best and not to mention for the square footage and amenities.....these apartments would be 4x the amount in Cali for a third of the space. So with all that said....if you're looking for an amazing modern place to call home. The Flats at Alta LeftBank is that place. read more

This place is a great location and maintenance people are nice. Apts are decent size. However if you want to actually use the amenities, they're only open during regular Biz hours. Security doors rarely lock for the last year. They have police kicking people out of the pool at 5pm on weekends and between 5-6pm on weekdays. They have a huge roach problem and even rats. I have pictures of those as well as the several broken doors. All have been reported MONTHS ago but nothing has been done. Christina the main manager is extremely rude and refuses to help anyone. Requests either go ignored or are met with sarcasm and even threats of them finding something to evict people of. If you enjoy the sound of LOUD fire alarms going off at least one late evening per month, this is a great place to live. Today, they went off 3 times. This is not a rare occurrence by any means. Tenants here are some serious pyromaniacs. UDATE: holy crap, what's that sound on this fine Sunday evening? The sound of the smoke detectors going off, again, for the fourth time this week!!!!! If you enjoy hearing your neighbors dog bark all day and night, this is a great place to live. If you enjoy hearing your neighbors play loud music at all hours, and not having them turn it down when you knock on the door and ask nicely, this is a great place to live. If you spent 8 days in the ICU, and are trying desperately to get rest at home after your recovery, this is not a great place to live. This apartment is very vested in keeping outside noises from cars and people to a minimum, but has no regard for any noise that goes on inside the building. This doesn't apply to the trash that is picked up daily outside the building at an obnoxious volume, any yelling or music from patios, noise from work being done on the roof, excessive noise from landscaping when there is barely any grass, or loudness from the train in the wee hours of the morning. They were, however, very concerned about the noise from my SO's car brakes a few weeks ago that merited multiple calls and emails. From driving, on the public road, outside of the apartment building. My apartment is nice and updated but still has significant water damage from when I moved in 2 leases ago. Baseboards and ceilings are damaged that were never repaired because of the hassle and maintenance incompetence. The damage continues to get worse in multiple areas, so there is obviously an underlying problem that has still not been corrected. I got sick of having people in my apartment and having to deal with work being done on the roof right above me, with none of the cosmetic damage being fixed anyway. They were aware of the ceiling leaking before my move in, and made no attempt to fix it prior to my move in. If I wouldn't have caught the ceiling dripping promptly, my brand new furniture and mattress would have been ruined. Update: there are already people on my superb roof on this lovely Saturday afternoon banging around. The building is poorly maintained, stairwells are always very dirty and smelly. Expect full slices of pizza, beer cans, dust, and other filthy trash littering the hallways and stairwells that sits for weeks on end. Think dirty diapers and soiled food. These are by no means luxury apartments. I have paid hundreds less in the 20 minute vicinity for a significantly better experience. I wanted to renew the lease out of ease. My SO does not. At this rate, he is winning fast. Please note that the maintenance staff here is very friendly and wonderful, they're just not very handy at their for core. IYKTYK. For example, my dryer has went two or three times since of moving in. Instead of fixing it, maintenance just drags in a new one from a different apartment and drags the old one out... the problem is usually just a missing bolt or screw.... At this moment, I am very disappointed with my experience here and regret moving to this location to begin with. My older apartment was much cheaper and much more luxury in comparison... read more

Don't make the mistake of living here. These are NOT luxury and overpriced. If I could give 0 stars I would. Maintenance enters apartments without permission and leaves no notice. This has happened over 5 times. We were broken into 3 different times with over $3,000 worth of items stolen. Parking lot lights didn't work for over 8 months of living here. Gates to get into the parking lot are broken and left open. We were given keys to a unit that was already occupied by mistake. Lack of privacy and security. Office offers no help or assistance and blows off all complaints while putting blame on the residents. The list goes on an on... *For reference: management is aware of every single issue I listed above in my review with documented emails and photos of each. I have mixed reviews about this place. The area is great!! I love being able to walk out my front door and walk to great restaurants and stores. Now as for the apartments they are extremely overpriced and cheaply constructed. Maintenance is prompt to respond, however they are fighting an uphill battle with things not properly working in the apartments. I will NOT be renewing my lease. I'm certain I can find something that's truly luxury at this astronomical price point. I'm big on making decisions based on my own conclusions but in this case I'm upset that I didn't take the reviews more seriously before I signed my lease. read more

I'm steps from the Trinity Park trails, and a short walk or Uber from everything from casual dining, bars, and Upscale dining, while being far enough away to not be disturbed by the bustle of downtown or bar noise. The leasing agent we had at move in did not provide clear instructions on what was required to get keys, and we still have not been able to get our phone numbers registered in the call box system. The leasing office agents are not the most knowledgable when needed, but otherwise, we have had a great experience living at the Flats. It is a safe apartment complex, and the amenities are great (pool, two workout facilities, etc). The apartments look extremely nice inside, and we have always had immediate help when there was a maintenance request... even after hours. Great place to live! read more

Outstanding staff! So patient and willing to show their variety of floor plans! Love love love how pet friendly the community is, they even have pet treats at the office, which I thought was so cute when I first walked in! They have 2 gym, an awesome pool table and the pool is to die for! The islands are the most awesome thing in the apartment because I don't have to worry about losing space in my apartment for a table, especially with the open concept they all have! The closets are huge and in the bathrooms which I think is so awesome. After seeing the Bluetooth surround sound, wine fridge, privacy shades, walk-in shower, my heart was set. My husband and I recently sold a large house and property and moved into The Flats. Needless to say a big adjustment, but we absolutely love living here - it was the best choice for us! The floor plans are really spacious and offer lots of light and storage space. The apartment itself is beautiful, and the property certainly has lots of amenities. We really enjoy being within walking distance for everything - the Tom Thumb, great restaurants, the Trinity Trails, etc. There is still a lot of construction going on, but it really hasn't bothered us. We are glad that we got in early and have our first choice for an apartment. Rachel Riviello is our leasing agent and was has been an absolute gem throughout the whole process. When my girlfriend and I visited the apartment homes and community, Emily stattford was very attentive in our needs and wants, whenever we told emily what other apartment homes offered, she quickly informed us of how they matched it and were superior in ways, that made a huge impact in our visit just because it showed us that we were given options. I was towed from the Flats while making a DoorDash delivery to a resident during the pandemic quarantine this year. I was only away from my car for 4 minutes but the predatory towing company towed me in 80 seconds and I was out $360! It take me 3 days to make that delivering food. I explained the special circumstances and the essential service I provided delivering food to residents but the towing people said "tough". I reached out to the office at The Flats to see if anyone could help. Stephanie Singleton did an outstanding job of helping me. She researched the towing company contract, contacted the towing company, and was willing to support my case in court. The towing company reimbursed me the full amount and Stephanie made sure the residents of the Flats could continue to get food deliveries. Thanks Stephanie, I could not have done it without your help. The residents of The Flats are lucky to have someone like you in their corner. read more

I have lived here for a little over a year now and it has been great! It is always very clean and all the employees are great. Everyone is extremely attentive and responds very quickly. The two workout rooms and the pool are brand new top of the like facilities. I have never had a noise problem or any problems with any other residence. It's reasonably priced and a great location! I can walk to restaurants and bars or easily hop on the interstate to get to work or Dallas. They also make sure to offer fun free events every other week where they give away free food and drinks and allow you to mingle with others! read more

However, this is decreasing depending on how much you are required to drive, need to take into account the increase in 7th St. traffic. Congestion is rapidly increasing as population grows, making getting in and out of this property a complete challenge. Also, please note these "newer" apartment properties do not equal "better" properties! Cheaper quality construction and materials used to build these properties, and equally the management for these properties. So.... If you are looking to live in a luxury complex, this property is not for you. If you are looking for a pet friendly complex, this property is not for you. - NO official dog area - People do not pick up after their pets; the only enforcement is a newly created "juvenile" sign to tell you to be a "good neighbor and pick up your dog's poo!" If you are looking to be treated like a valued tenant (customer), this property is not for you. You are only valued on the walk through and when the ink is still wet, when it dries the story changes. If you work from home and the apartment is your ONLY office option, this property is not for you. If you have horribly loud neighbors, people on your work calls will hear the banging and will ask "what was that bang?" It's embarrassing! If you are looking to enjoy living in a well maintained property, this property is not for you. - The maintenance staff is awesome and will do their best with what they have, the issues are a result of poor construction. - Main roof leaks, mold in apartments, leaks from balconies, smelly hallways from trash rooms, over run landscaping which houses multiple insects and if you live on the first floor expect to have them in your apartment. - Poor property lighting inside property and around the perimeter of the property. IT IS NOT a safe community for walking your pet at night. o I recently averted an attach thank goodness to an oncoming car person ran to the train tracks, FWPD could not do anything as it is too dark to identify the persons details and could not get a picture due to no lighting If you want to be heard and concerns address, this property is not for you - When you take your concerns to the office, don't be surprised if you get ignored. They come to the office and get a paycheck, and customer service is not a service the property management office provides. They rely on you living here quietly without having an opinion; living in misery. - Concerns are diverted and you get the run around to get issues resolved (if they get resolved). - Providing proof of a situation it will be dismissed, management prefers to believe a lie without proof is easier to manage! - The Courtesy Officer (which is mostly Fort Worth PD) will become your friend. Sadly, I would prefer the FWPD to not have to deal with the apartment crap and do what they are focused on Law enforcement, public safety, civil service, public service rescue, protection of private property. Property management won't manage the property unless you bother our friendly brothers in blue to do the properties job. NOISE: You can hear your neighbors every move, moans (yes, I said moans), open closing cabinets, walk across the floors (most stomp and don't care), open and closing of microwave, main doors to enter/leave the building slams shut; doors to stairwells slam shut in the hallways and echoes. So if you're a light sleeper, you will be miserable if you're apartment is near these areas. You can even "enjoy" the rattling sounds from your light fixtures to the HVAC system in the ceiling rattling! "LUXURY at its finest!" I am not complaining because I made a bad choice, I am complaining because I was misled by leasing agent (Lucille), she intentionally lied during the walk through about the property. Prior to signing, I spent over an hour explaining what I am looking for and to get me to sign on the dotted line she lied through her teeth about the features that were important to me. After living here and meeting more neighbors, I was not the only one this leasing agent lied to about features. Everything looks good on paper!! I also moved in when the property was like 25% occupied and wasn't aware of the building and management teams true downfalls. Eight months later and counting down the months until I can move out of this no-luxury property. Most tenants leave after their initial lease is over, not many renew due to the above. I recommend continue searching if you want to live in a property that will continue to value you after the ink dries on the contract. Your safety and satisfaction as a tenant is not a Wood Property concern, just the monthly rent payment! I cannot wait to move out! read more

Avoid this place like the plague. Never in my life have I experienced such a terrible apartment complex and incompetent staff. For the cost, better quality all around should not be an issue, but it is. To start, the walls are paper thin - to an excessive amount. I.E being able to hear your upstairs neighbor turn on the faucet, stomp around, flush the toilet ect. Plus you can hear everything outside the walls as well. When I mentioned this to staff, they told me to get a noise machine. The printer/computer in the business center is always down and they don't answer 75% of phone calls. When it comes to signing a lease, what a nightmare. They got my lease wrong several times and would forget to send me the updated version until I called multiple times. Their excuse? " I wasn't here for three days and everyone forgot." Total lack of professionalism and accountability. When it came to paying my rent, they got that wrong as well and still managed to forget to send me an updated version until two weeks after the month started. The only nice thing about this place is the location. But everything else washes out that one plus. read more

This apartment complex is located in the heart of all the fun, right on West 7th -- but DON'T let it fool you! When I first moved here, I was excited and comforted by the fact that there would be an on-site security guard 24/7. Nope! He's not there to keep you safe.. he's there to yell at you and abuse his authority in any chance he gets. He is extremely aggressive, and I have seen him be so with many people, including my guests. I avoid leaving my apartment or using any common areas because I am constantly worried of getting yelled at. I thought this would be a complex for young professionals and college students, due to its location, but the staff really caters only to the families who live here. read more
