He never touched me abusively though. His wife wasn't excellent either but I personally don't remember anything specific about here I was still pretty young so that's why this was so impactful for me. here are some of the sayings that Tommy said to us " What happens in the gym stays in the gym" and "First place wins second is the first loser and their place is just happy to be there". do you see any red flags about that first quote? You should, if you are considering enrolling there please consider this. Please if you do go here listen to your children and ask them about the things that are being said to them. Oh, and you can't forget that they tried to keep me and my friends on the same level when we were perfectly able to go to the next that just shows that they were more in it for the money than the kids that their teaching. Every workout is thoughtfully designed and hits all muscle groups, so I always feel like I'm making the most of my time. The semi-personal group format really elevates the experience--it's the perfect balance of individual attention and group energy. In the past 8 months, I've lost 15 pounds and seen real improvements in my strength, endurance, mobility, and flexibility. On top of that, they offer group classes that make it easy to add extra workouts into the week. Tom and LeAnna have built an incredibly welcoming environment. I worked from a desk, and was a couch potato at night that couldn't bench press my own body weight. I was on sleeping pills, anti-depressants and was not eating. Mike encouraged me to stop by and try a class. So I did! It was a small class. I think there were 3 of us, and I had brought a friend! Brian was the instructor. He had a quiet, calm voice. He asked to look at my gait, and what sports I'd played, while he probably sized up how hard he could push me. :) I remember being a little sore after class that day but I came back. And it was after one of those first week's classes that I remember driving home happy! I was staying with friends and I burst into the kitchen smiling from ear to ear as they were getting ready for the day. Endorphins! And I was hooked. I had been a member of many gyms. Mostly for less than a year. The habit never stuck. Gyms don't give personalized instruction every day, nor do the members cheer you on and congratulate you after a workout. Gyms don't have a long term plan or program. Mike does! This sh*t works. I gained the 50 lbs back. I lifted 400 lbs. I did a muscle up! My advice to you is to try it. Pay for a month. If you like it, you will wonder why you didn't go sooner. If you don't like it, you might like the people and coaches and make some friends.

When it comes to choosing, the opinion of someone you know tends to be the best way to go. I cannot say enough good things about the experience we have had with Crossfit Prototype/ Prototype Kids. The entire Team here is amazing. They are knowledgeable and careful. They know how to motivate and how to engage children of any age, and the best part, they tire out the child in a single session. The options are simple, pay for unlimited classes or go the punch card route. At the end of the day, it costs no more than most kids activities. If you haven't done it yet, check out their Facebook Page and website. Better yet, bring your child there for a class, they give the first one for free. So no harm, no foul if they find it isn't for them.

I had a Tough Mudder to run in about 4 months, and after seeing him once a week, and actually doing what he told me to, I did it. He pays really close attention to your specific goals, physiology, and capabilities to customize the one on one workouts to your needs, while teaching you movements you can take and practice the rest of the week. His demeanor is great, he's always upbeat and giving you encouragement when you're doing your best, and doesn't try to drill sergeant you when you do fail. The training regimen is decidedly crossfit style workouts, but only if you can handle it. Team X is a great bunch too. I stumbled into a great set of people through this trainer. Big fan. He also runs bootcamps for those who can't make it out to Natick in the morning.

I'm strong and lean, I have muscles in places I didn't know existed and I just feel great! I've really enjoyed my 7AM workouts!
