I originally called him out to clean the basement carpet after sewage water from a plumbing emergency had soaked the carpet. His pricing was so good that I ended up having him do most of the house. Then Mike surprised me and went over and above the space that we had previously agreed on! Amazing work ethics! And now that basement carpet looks like new and no longer smells, and there are those hallmark clean carpet streak marks all over. Thank you, Mike! Commercial - my church. The banquet hall carpet had been soiled over time with spillage that had become embedded, spots, etc. Several "professional" carpet cleaners had tried and said the carpet could be cleaned to our satisfaction. In comes OMA Professional and did what the naysayers said couldn't be and perform the services with grace and courtesy after having been told the carpet could be satisfactorily cleaned. I have had my carpet and a chairs cleaned before by Mike. Very talkative guy but nonetheless he does good work. When I contacted him recently. The plan was for him to clean my entire home. When I called to book the appointment he was rambling on about him being booked for the next three weeks and If black people don't act right he will "charge them like he charges the crackers". Proceeds to laugh and talk about the money he was making. Basically alluding that his clientele was up. So I let it slide and didn't address it because that was not my fight. I just wanted my carpet cleaned. So we agreed to July 2 at 10am. Today July 1,2020. Mike calls me after9pm. Apologizes for calling so late and proceeds to ask to change my appointment time. I am an accommodating person. So I said "I just have to leave by 2:30. And I don't want you to have to rush". Then his tone changes he abruptly cuts me off and said I don't need to hear all that either you are available or your not. He further stated he has 8am available. I said that's fine. He was so busy talking over me loudly and aggressively I don't think he heard me. Mike proceeds to say I don't care if it's you or the guy at Beechtree. One of you'll is going to have to wait. Because I will charge you'll like I charge these white people." "It don't matter to me". So I address the racism and unwarranted attitude this time. I said Mike I have talked to you plenty of times before where is all this energy coming from? He was defensive, argumentative, yelling, rambling and talking over me to the point he was yelling. I didn't have a problem with him starting my home at 8am or 12:30 pm. It's was his delivery and disrespectful tone. I did not yell, raise my voice or say anything disrespectful to him. I was shocked he was coming off on me this way. The last straw was when Mike stated "either you want it or not I'm not worried about your money". Again emphasizing that he has white clients that he will charge more. So he is not worried about my black money. I hung the phone up. I will not argue with a contractor or beg anyone to take my money. Customer service is everything to me. Especially when I pride myself on being a respectful person. So please read below the following text messages he sent me. 1. 9:08pm Mike calls me back -I do not answer. 2. 9:09pm Mike proceeds to text me "You weak". 3. 9:10pm. Mike texts again"Bama Ass". This is 4 documented incidents of Mike repeatedly contacting me and being disrespectful.I can handle this different ways because Mike broke the law. According to the State of Maryland Criminal Law Code Mike with OMA Professional Cleaning Technicians broke the following laws: Misuse of telephone, covered by state code § 3-804 and Please refer to Harassment, covered by state code § 3-803. During this particular time, I was very disappointed in Mike's service with cleaning the carpet as well as the customer service he provided. He cleaned both rooms in a timely manner and ensured that all my pet stains were gone. The worst experience ever!!!! I made a call and I got an appointment for the week priority and on my time 11:00 am one show up. I call them back in order to receive the information and I was told that the truck of the person who was responsible to clean my carpet got broken. I did not received any calls about that, if something like that happen you need to inform it right away. In addition, they were telling someone will come but they do not know when it may be at 2 or at 3, whey will give me a call!!!! Therefore, I need to spend whole day waiting for them even though I call them a week in advance. I understand that there are some unpredictable situation but when the owner call me, he did not have any solution he just wanted me to wait for a call for a whole day. I manage a portfolio of real estate investment properties. I rely on Mike and his team whenever I turn over a property to a new tenant. He is very personable and professional with explaining things and has very good worth ethics. He will be there on every job with his techs. Though he is in MD, I have not had a problem with him fitting me into his schedule and most of the properties I manage are in VA. They do an excellent job at getting stains out and making the carpets look like "new" at a reasonable price. I don't normally write reviews, but I was really stressed about moving and was so thankful about how stress-free and convenient this process was. I was able to get an appointment at the time I needed, he explained everything he was doing, and was so courteous. We had a rust stain and he told me there was a treatment he could do but it would be an extra $18 and it might not work.
