Washington cleaning service was very prompt when it came to responding to my request via yelp and offered a competitive price compared to other cleaning services in the area. They were able to work with my schedule and gave me notice when the technician was in route. Gary was my technician and he was awesome and did a great job. He did wear his mask and kept to social distancing during his visit in addition to being very pleasant and professional. Although I won't know the results until my carpet and couch is dry I feel as though a thorough job was done. The company was quick with a response when I requested a quote and was very detailed with the questions asked for specific information to give me an accurate quote. To many times I have requested quotes, been given quotes, only to be charged more when the other companies cleaners show up because the company would fail to ask specific information. Washington Cleaning was very competitive and once I committed to them, they ensured that the dates and time were convenient for my schedule. The home cleaning and carpet cleaning team showed up on time and spent a very extensive amount of time on every room up until the the time they left. They even went over certain areas an extra time to ensure that the cleaning was to satisfactory conditions. I was really looking forward to dealing with this company, but I would strongly recommend finding another cleaning service. My initial discussion with Tiana went great and an appointment was set. Fifyeen minutes into the appointment time I called to confirm and received the feedback they were on the way. An hour later, after no one showed and no courtesy calls were made to reschedule or reconfirm, I called again and spoke to a man who never introduced himself, made continuous excuses about being very busy, and never answered my questions but kept saying "we are a five star business and we cannot afford to have a customer who might not rate us five stars." After listening to this for a few minutes, I then asked can I please ask a question about trying to make arrangements for a future appointment, only to find out he had hung up without even saying good bye. Too bad they have this individual working for them. He is hurting whatever good people, like Tiana, who also work for the company. I would rate them as a zero for customer service and recommend they make a few changes in personnel, scheduling, and customer service before using them. Very disappointed. read more

I just had an amazing experience with Washington Cleaning Services & Upholstery. Theo did an incredible job cleaning our custom tufted velvet couch which our cat had gotten sick all over (vomit which was caked on). I was nervous that the stains wouldn't come out of velvet, but Theo did an amazing job at not only spot cleaning the stains, but cleaning the entire couch. It truly looks like new after he did his magic. He's as nice as they come, has a sweet co-worker/wife, and an adorable dog. Can't recommend this company more. Amazing job!!! Our technicians Mr. Zhande and Andre showed up on time and were extremely friendly and customer service oriented. They cleaned our 4 piece sectional and white area rug which had a stench of our 3 dogs as well as dog hair everywhere.
