3/24/26Worst customer service/customer relations I have ever experienced!…read more Agreed to a "one hour" on-line service, using Schrock Desk, intended to reconnect my email servers, which connection were lost when Cox transferred my account to Yahoo, after the Schrock tech gave me verbal assurances it would be a simple task, taking no more than one-hour, with their minimum fee of $160. When time arrived for the one hour on-line service, the assigned tech was initially unable to find my previously provided account info, so this used part of the one-hour before we even got started. Eventually, the tech said servers were connected, and the job was complete. Since the whole hour had not been used, we proceeded to make the same repair on my second computer, but the tech could not establish the on-line connection. Having failed, but not having fully used the 60 minutes, he suddenly had to leave for another customer. So, Ok., good enough, I thought, the first computer was connected. Soon after, I tried to send an email only to discover my computer was not connected to the server. The following day, I went to the Omaha Schrock physical location to request a review of the situation, only to be told I could either leave my computer at their office and they would get to it in 2 - 3 days, or we could do another Schrock Desk on-line fix, in the near future , for another $160 fee. Having lost all confidence in their service level, and feeling I should be refunded my fee for lack of performance on their part, I asked for a refund. The tech declined my request. I suggested I would then have to ask the credit card company, through which I had previously paid the $160 fee, to assist in my effort to get a refund, by filing a dispute. The tech threatened me that I would be charged with criminal theft if I filed a dispute. Or, I could escalate my complaint to their regional manager. I did escalate and the regional manager timely returned my call by leaving a voice mail message and his telephone number. Subsequent repeated efforts to contact, first, the regional manager, and, then, the owner/President of the company, have been fruitless.

Clay says he will look at it next week he had some emergency services. Call 2 weeks later and get the exact same answer. Tell him I'll just pick up the unit that has sat in his garage for 2.5 months and he states the $50.00 dollar deposit is not going to be refunded. Don't do business with Clay. He is the most unorganized person I have ever met. I knew I had a bad feeling about it when I dropped it off.

Never went back for various reasons. Then I found Clay. I have an old JVC stereo system and the 5 disc CD player (yes I really still listen to CD's sometimes) stopped working. I found Clay. He has all the retro/old parts and knowledge to fix equipment like this. Because finding someone like this is so difficult, he is extremely busy but patience pays off! He told me it would be 3 months before he got to it and he was pretty spot on. Best part though is he was able to fix it and at a reasonable price. Very nice guy to work with!

We went again recently to get it fixed I asked if we could get a discount since it exploded before the man said no but he'd give a free screen protector and if it broke again he would fix it. I kept the receipt just in case. Once again while we were on vacation his phone just broke in his bag. Today they stopped by to get it fixed after it once again just exploded and the man refuses to fix it saying it's not broken on the the inside screen or something stupid and saying they dropped it when they did not. This sounded absolutely ridiculous so I left. I took it to Fix Max at the Westroads. They had it 1 day at a repair charge of $90 and it works perfectly once again. These guys are amazing, professional, courteous and the repairs are done right in their shop! 5 stars!
