Omar was very nice and happy and ready to work! He fixed my suit for only 10$ which was way cheaper than any other tailor in the state!

Not much to say. They do what they have to do. Fair price, good quality. I keep writing to fill 85 words

Lee's Tailors on Western Boulevard is hands-down the best tailoring experience I've had in Raleigh…read more Ping (the owner) is incredible, and Karen and Anna are both wonderful as well. They're all patient, skilled, and genuinely kind. I go in fairly often for tailoring and repairs, and they are always welcoming and willing to listen carefully while I figure out exactly what I want done. Today really stood out. I brought back a pair of pants that had been hemmed and looked great, but just didn't feel comfortable when I wore them. I was worried I was asking too much since I'd already been in a few times about these pants, but Ping couldn't have been more understanding. She insisted on letting them back out while I was there, even though it was near closing time. She also noticed a jacket I had and tightened the buttons on that too--again, on the spot. She was so kind, accommodating, and generous with her time, and she wouldn't even let me pay. That level of care and customer service is rare. Ping truly stands behind her work and wants her customers to be comfortable and happy. If you're looking for expert tailoring with exceptional service, Lee's Tailors is the place. I won't go anywhere else.

Anti-lgbtq discrimination takes place commonly at rural southern small businesses. After paying for…read morefull service tailoring, my property was not tailored to expectation and I took my property home with a giant hole in it. After taking time out of my extremely busy day to revisit the store, where I was taken advantage of, the same tailor told me that she should have tended to it a different way the first time. Though highly displeased with her transparent idiocy, I thought that she would repair it quickly since she received payment for it. She communicated that I incur charge to repair what was not done the first time. When I asked her what the price would be she issued barb saying, "we will speak about this when you pick it up. Now get out!"

Awful place to take clothing to be altered. I wanted to "shop local" and take my item here but when…read moreI walked in, I should have went with my gut. It is a horribly packed shop, with filthy carpeting and just total disarray. I should have left then.... but I thought "maybe they will do a good job anyway". So I had my formal dress "fitted" and hemmed. They told me a week and when I called to check on the dress a week later, they couldn't find it. They had no idea where it was... so I told them I was coming down to find it. When I got there, they found it and I tried it on. The hem was fine. The bodice was HORRIBLE. It didn't fit and they said "it looks good". I just took it off and took it home with me instead of making a scene. The alterations on the bodice were terribly done and the only thing I'm happy about was that they didn't even cut the fabric to get it done, so I could tear it all out and had to have my mother help me via FaceTime to get it where I can use it. Luckily, I can sew... and my alterations were better than theirs and they do it for a living. They almost ruined my dress... I certainly couldn't wear it the way they had altered it.
