I moved from Texas a year ago where I was used to going to the same nail technician for years. I like to get SNS on my hands and shellac on my toes. Since moving here I've tried several places with similar results with the SNS. I went here last Wednesday. The place is beautiful inside and VERY clean. It is pricier than most salons in the area but I'm willing to pay for quality. So I picked my colors, started the pedicure first. I chose the "deluxe" which was $37 and they charge $15 extra for shellac but okay...again if I'm getting quality I understand. The pedicure was what I'm used to receiving so I wouldn't come back for a pedicure here since it's so pricey. Onto my hands, I LOVED how they first turned out. She did a great job with getting coverage. I had told her I had issues since I've been in South Carolina with SNS cracking. She told me to come back if I have any issues. So the following day I noticed on my thumb that maybe the top coat was lifting (I have not experienced this), so Friday I went back and she had to fix 3 nails because the top coat was coming off. For good measure, she applied the top coat to all of my bails. By Saturday afternoon the top coat was completely coming off 6 nails. I was hosting a party so I couldn't go back. By Sunday, the top coat has chipped off all but 2 nails. Unfortunately, I do not have time to keep going to the salon. It's the reason I get SNS because I can usually go 3 weeks in between appointments. The nails were $40 which I think is reasonable. My total was $92 (before tip), they asked how I was going to pay and I had a card. When she handed me the receipt to pay I noticed they pass on the credit card processing fee of $2 and some change. I did not notice any signage stating this the first time I went but on Friday I saw a small sign posted. So just be prepared. Unfortunately, I'm still on the hunt for a place to do my nails as I will not be back for high prices and sub par quality. read more

I was in town visiting family and staying at the Tru by Hilton. I noticed this nail shop adjacent to the building and opted to stop in. It was one hour before closing, but they had no issue with servicing me right away. Kim has the best conversation and customer service. I came here with a friend and they took forever and the lady told me it would be $35 and I said ok then she said since you got tips it's another $5 which I completely understand and once I get up it was $50 for who knows what reason I ended up coming home and crying But let me get back to the beginning when the lady was doing my nails all of her tools were dirty! And then she was so rough with my hands like what on earth did I do to her! But she cut me by not being carful and the whole drilling part was horrible it was burning me so bad and I kept on telling her and nothing and she even picked out the wrong color and I proceeded to stop her and tell her that not right and she said it is... it is going to change when I dries up and is going to be the color you picked ... it wasn't the color I picked I pinks a nude color and this was almost hot pink! And then she proceeded to blame it on the so case nails saying they just need to update it .. I paid and I left I came back the next day explaining my situation that I've been crying and I for my nails done for a photo shoot saying that my topcoat is patchy I have bumps on my nails they are not the right color one nail is crooked she caused me pain and they said ok we can fix it and I said can I please take them off and just get a pedicure instead knowing it's $30 not no $50 for a regular polish . And they said ok that's fine so I went up and they were speaking their language and he come up to me and showed me the 50$ pedicure and I said well I guess we can do that since I paid $50.12 yesterday and I said are you sure your fine with that and he goes ofc so I went with it! And he did a good job I was trying to be so nice to him I even said no to a few things because I saw he was getting tired to be nice because I thought it would be free Little did I know she fixed my nails but doing the shape and putting a top coat over them they look at lot better then what they were but honestly I was just trying to leave because I'm pregnant and nauseous and then she finished and I said Thankyou! And I started to leave just to sue the lady and the man running after me saying I didn't pay like WHAT am I supposed to pay for that you guys couldn't do your job and they threatened me to call the cops and that I need to say $50.50 it was a lot of arguing and I just paid 25.50 to keep it peaceful So please for the love of God please do not go there I'm saving you ! read more

First let me say it was very beautiful inside however my experience was very horrible. My first time there and when seated for my pedi the guy who showed me the menu tried to make it seem as if they only offered two kinds by covering up the cheaper option for $30 at the top. He only offered me the $37 and $50 option... And I feel as if he rushed my $37 pedi because I did NOT. Then when it was time to get my fill in and one mail replacement the older woman filed my skin causing my skin to burn. She had the audacity to LAUGH when told her it burned. The polish on my nails was HORRIBLE extremely sloppy. The owner offer to only take $5 off my my service. What a joke. One has been doing my nails since I was fourteen (eight years) and today, she blew me away making all my nail dreams come true!! I really hate to ever write negatively about any place of business, so I only do when it is absolutely necessary. My experience at this nail salon was awful. From the moment I walked in, it was a little odd. I will be completely honest- I was 15 minutes late to my appointment but there were only 2 other people being serviced at the time I got there with 3 or 4 other workers available. They were also telling me on the phone I could come any time within the almost 2 hour window I provided when asked what time I wanted to come. My pedicure was very average and for the price of it being $40ish, not much was done. There was a hot wrap and a mud mask, but the foot massage was subpar and there was no leg massage. I asked for gel polish on my toes and it seemed to be an issue. I asked for a similar color to the dip powder color I selected. No one helped me to differentiate which color samples were dip and which were gel. Hence, the reason i asked for the same color in gel. The man who did my pedicure was nice, but it was not like a normal gel experience. I've had my fingers and toes done with gel polish countless times. I think there were 4, maybe 5, layers of gel color put on my toes. Not to mention, the gel color he picked out was not the same as the dip powder I originally asked for. I decided to continue with my fingers after that. The experience was awful. Mind you, I asked for a gel manicure and gel pedicure on the phone. I also mentioned it when I got there. Manicure means a manicure. The lady who did my fingers did nothing to my cuticles and as she started putting tips on and filing them, two of my fingers were in serious pain. I showed her a design, like I did at the beginning to another woman at the front who said they could do it. The woman doing my nails asked me what color I wanted. I tried to reference the picture as best I could. However, I am going to a nail salon and a nail tech because they are the best at this. They are the professional and honestly don't know the best color to match that picture. I tried to bare with the pain, but I could not and decided to ask if I could come back another day or just go somewhere else. The woman at the front still charged me full price for the services, despite the issues I had. I will not be coming back here and will tell friends of mine in the area to not come back. The lack of interest in the services I wanted (for a place that is apparently known for nail art) and the complacency at the fact I was in pain should have been enough for me to walk away sooner. Worst "manicure" of my life. To remove the previous dip manicure, they had me repeatedly soak my fingers in acetone mixed with hot water - and a paper towel so that I could rub the nails free of polish. In and out of this at least 4 times, up to my first knuckle. In between using the dremmel to take some polish off - and one time using his FINGERNAIL to Pop one nail off - putting his fingernail between my nail and the polish! Your skin absorbs everything you put on it, or SOAK in, so, I soaked up a lot of acetone. Once that process was finished - some how gunk got under my nails, like melted gel polish - gluing my nail to my skin! I kept saying that I did not like it, you need to remove what is under the nail - all to no avail - until AFTER the new dip process. THEN he used the dremmel to remove some of it. It was AWFUL. It was nearly impossible and very frustrating to understand what he was saying and only another Client stepped into help after repeating myself several times and saying, I'm sorry, but I cannot understand what you are saying - several times. The owner chose the "classic" pink for my french manicure. I trusted her. It is an awful color. My cuticles were not done, nails not cleaned and when I finally had lotion on my hands, suffice it to say, they need to have soft young hands. The 'rub' was not nearly the massage one typically gets with the manicure selected. It was actually disgusting. I have NEVER written such a review for Any procedure, including mani pedis. Not a good experience. A man did my nails and unfortunately spoke no english at all so I couldn't tell him what I wanted. However, just as she was starting on my manicure, another worker who may have been a supervisor told her to ask me for payment before she started. Because her accent was so heavy, I didn't understand at first, and she ended up shouting it. This did not happen with any other customer.
