Husband and wife, Friday AM visit at 11:00. I've passed by this place dozens of times I. The past 20 years as it is next door to where I used to get my hair cut, way back in the day when I could easily reach my own toes for a self, so called, pedicure. My second only pedicure. I'm 64. Hard to reach those toes. Plus, a massage chair with a foot jacuzzi is $2500 easily on Amazon. Yeah, I looked it up while sitting in the A Nails chair, back being thoroughly massaged by the adjustable chair, feet in warm, soaking (collagen) and my nails being expertly cut, brushed, feet massaged with hot stones, it took an hour y'all. It was very relaxing. They have wine. It was tempting. I understand. That's another day. Van was my technician. I didn't want to subject my royal feet to mere walking afterwards, but I had to get out of the chair eventually. Calculations show that an ROI on just the chair is around 35 visits, not counting plumbing it in and who is going to massage the feet and do your pedicure? I'll stick with Van and A Nails. read more

My manicure was over two hours ago, and my nails and fingertips are still in pain. Worst experience I have ever had getting a manicure. My nails were filed down to the quick (and did not need to be), and they hurt horribly and look awful. The person plucked the cuticles very hard and fast - so painful. The kicker was when the manicurist pulled out their phone to watch a video for the two minutes that my nails were drying... very unprofessional. Save your nails and money and go elsewhere. read more

I was needing a nail place near me. I walked in and they sat me right away. The lady greeting customers was not super friendly, so thankfully I was seated with another lady named Van. She did a great job. Took her time and addressed my concerns. It's your typical nail salon - a little outdated but prices are a little bit cheaper. Wouldn't mind if it was cleaner but it's not bad. They use plastic coverings on their pedicure chairs, which I like. I'll try this place again and hopefully get Van again. read more

This was my 5th time going to this place. I ask for the same lady to do my pedicure. The manager was not happy about it because they rotate the employees to do pedicures. I didn't know they take turns, so the manager told me they did. Well I wanted the same lady. The next thing I know they started talking in their language and the employee was not happy. It was very disrespectful that the manager was arguing with her employee in front of me. Her employee stop doing my feet and that is when I got upset of the manager. Disappointed. I decided to try this place out for the first time after reading the 5 star review that someone else had posted. I scheduled an appt for a mani-pedi and arrived 10 minutes early. I decided to go for a deluxe pedi which was $5 more. The lady next to me was getting a regular pedi and it seemed almost identical. They did this weird thing where they put a plastic grocery bag (that said "Thank You" x 10) over each foot for LITERALLY 30 seconds. Uh? What was the point of that? She didn't buff/file my nails well though so even after she painted them, you could see all the ridges in my nails. The pedi didn't look smooth. Despite the fact that I denied wanting a gel nail polish when I came in, I was asked a few more times if I wanted it. The owner was pushy and tried to persuade me to get it. After I kept telling her I didn't want gel, she finally gave me a super quick mani which was sub-par quality. She didn't clean up the skin on my cuticles and ignored me when I told her I wanted my nails trimmed. Additionally, she got nail polish on my skin around each nail (looked like I let my little sister do my nails). She really was just trying to get to the next customer who was a middle aged lady wanting a gel mani, which is frustrating because I had an appointment!! Customer service is obviously not a priority. Maybe it was my age? Maybe it was the fact that I didn't want to pay $10 more for a gel mani? Who knows. Regardless, I will not be going back here. read more

I was visiting Greenville from Los Angeles and I needed an emergency gel polish change. My first surprise was that they didn't have the swatch for the gel polish instead they told me to choose one polish off the shelf. As I was opening up the bottles to see the colors (because they weren't see through) I got the gels all over my hands. The nail salon owner ended up doing my nails. As soon as she applied the gel it was so thick that it scrunched up on my nails because it was too old, so she talked me into a different color. In order to apply it, she he had to file my nails again. It looked pretty good when she finished but I ended up being at the salon for an hour. She charged me $20 for the polish change which I thought was expensive because my nail technician in California charges $15 for a gel manicure. I didn't even get a manicure!! They actually charge $18 for a fill so I really don't understand how I ended up paying $20 for a simple gel change. The worst part was 2 hours later when all the gel started to lift up from my nails, and I could just pull them off of them. I ended up borrowing some nail polish to paint my nails because I had to catch a flight. read more

I've been here twice now and both times my toes have been sore from over-cutting the skin around my toe nails. This time, they cut until I bled. I've never had that problem at other salons. Worst pedicure I've ever had! I went here before my friends wedding this past Saturday, they cut my nails too short and they're lopsided. The corners are sharp so they hurt until I filed them myself. The lady who was doing it was rough and didn't seem to care what I wanted or thought. Then seemed offended because I didn't want her to give me a manicure. The friend I went with got a gel manicure and they didn't even paint her nails the right color... then wouldn't change it even though it was their mess up! I wouldn't go here ever again. read more

I visited this salon during the week, and was EXTREMELY SATISFIED with my manicure. I was seen by Kim, and she did an amazing job! She is a passionate and compassionate tech, and her service confirms that. She explained to me that she likes to take her time, and even ensured that I was satisfied by asking me did I like the color and length of my nails. Wednesday noontime they were very slow, so it worked perfect for me, they matched gel nail re-do with my toes & I was very happy with their $30 service. In& out within an hours time. She took extra time for buffing & sprucing up cuticle edges nicely. When I first got seated I asked another lady if she was a return customer & she had been coming for 10 years & very pleased with them. Horrible customer service!!! My nails came out fine, BUT a few of my fingers did bleed and are still burning several hours later, due to the wrong drill bits being used around the cuticle. That is NOT okay. I also noticed (I really hate to bring race into this, but this needs to be said.) when customers who were not Caucasian walked in there was no enthusiasm, only "what do you want today?". While on the other hand when a Caucasian person came in, there was lots of enthusiasm and a warm welcome. I have had this problem before at this nail salon a year ago, but just ignored it. Hurting your customers and continuing to work in the same manner is not okay (there was blood), and giving your customers different service based on their ethnicity is DEFINITELY NOT OKAY. read more

I was not satisfied AT ALL. I went with my friend to this salon around the area. All I asked for was a gel manicure on MY nail. That's it. My friend got acrylic nails and got her toes done and I got charged 15 more dollars than her. How that happened I have NO idea. Also it's only been a week and my light blue color is turning BROWN. the parts the started to peel off you can see yellow nail polish that they didn't remove that I had on before. I have gone here for a while and I am always pleased with my nails. However, I am not pleased with the fact that they now have a tv which stays on CNN/CSPAN/FOX and the people working stop doing nails to discuss whatever news is on. The hour or two I am here I do not want to watch the news or listen to bickering over whatever is on. I can stay home and listen to my kids argue, for free! There is no peace or quiet during the experience like there once was in this place. I refuse to pay to listen to this nonsense. read more

Horrible. Absolutely horrible. I went in two different times to get a gel manicure because I heard they were better than acrylic nails and both times that I asked for gel, they gave me acrylic. I, not having much experience with fake nails and unfortunately not knowing at the time how the processes were different, did not know to say anything when they started doing acrylic. They completely ripped me off instead of doing what I asked because they could get away with it (because I did not know they were not doing what I had asked). When I described what they did to the lady I go to now for nails, she told me they had given me acrylic and charged me for gel. I was furious! I also told her that they said there were only certain "gel polishes" that you can paint gel nails with and it turns out that is completely bogus. Polish is completely irrelevant. And the fact that they weren't even giving me gel nails anyway... These people take advantage of people and this business is a joke. I will not be returning! read more

I went to this salon for a full set of acrylic nails. A man did my nails and they are horrible. They were not the same shape and they were flat on the top and thick. When I tried to explain he cut me off and just tried to fix the one nail I pointed out. I had to ask him to fix them all and they still are not right.
