They have all the prices laid out (no hidden charges) and have a fair repair policy. There are times I have broken my nails and they will always help me repair them at no extra charge. Last night I returned after going to another nail salon and it reminded me of why I miss going to the place. There are so many colors to choose from and they have a nice display so you can choose the perfect shade. I got a pedicure which included shaping/cuticle trim, color, sugar exfoliator, foot mask, mud mask, and a massage for cheaper than other places! My feet were super soft once I was finished. Then the nails! I normally just do a solid color but the tech seemed very comfortable with designs. At the last minute, I switched from a solid color to wanting polka dot nails. He chose the perfect light pink shade and made sure the polka dots were the exact size and pattern I wanted. I'm obsessed with my nails and I keep getting compliments on them! The shape is perfect too!

But, unfortunately, this place is beginning to lose its "zest". What once made the stand a part from the everyday nail shop, now has this place feeling like everywhere else. Messy stations, dusty floors, slow technicians, and over promised designs. Not to mention it took me 2 hrs to get a full set, before the design. The technician rushed my shape and as not friendly after I mentioned it. Felt an eerie feeling of discrimination upon paying when I voiced my concerns. Witnessed multiple customers receive better tone of voice and accommodations when displeased. Mgr "accommodated" by taking off $5. Only bonus they still have going for them is the drink station.

Other salons in my area. The most I have paid for nails. Like this have been $80 including a tip. When I get to the front desk to pay the lady who's there is a young girl most likely in her 20s and she is on the phone while checking me out. I proceed to get my car ready and she tells me that the price is going to be $94. Never have I paid this much for nails. Whether it has been acrylic, gel, length, or my design. after she tells me the price, I just go to pay and she poses to ask me if I would like to tip. I gave her seven dollars in cash to get to the lady that did my nails because that's all the cash I have and I did not expect to pay more than 85 for my nails safe to say I will not be coming back, and will go to my usual salon. Additionally, the place was not in the greatest area or shape, and was extremely quiet and warm and neither of the nail technician knew how to work the AC.

That said, there is one disappointment here and for me, it's hard to say if this is a normal thing being that I'm new to Arizona and still adjusting or if it's something that only this salon does. The issue is this: when you get a pedicure you're presented with different spa treatments to choose from. The prices listed on these treatments breakdown what is included, or what is supposed to be included in the price. However, when you go to pay for services, the prices increases and you are told that the extra charge is because one opted for gel polish over standard. It's happened twice to me and it doesn't make sense at all. If the spa treatment you choose automatically states that one gets gel polish, scrub, massage, and a paraffin wax dip for $55 as an example, it should be $55 in cost before any tip is added. However, at the counter the price increases, which is closer to $100. This is frustrating because what you see if not necessarily what you get per se, so you have to really pay attention to the spa treatment options and make sure you ask about any extra charges post service.
