This has become my new spot. Every time we've made appointments for pedicures our chairs have been ready when entering. Staff are kind, take good care of my nails, and make it a fun experience. The fumes are very heavy here, wearing a mask on top of it made it hard. more ventilation is needed.. Turn that fan on high. The nail glue or Acetone smell very high. Dark Dingy place. Very high price for a place that could use a lot of clean up and updating. The girl who did my pedicure was good. It pains me to leave a negative review as I've enjoyed my pedicures here for years. However I can't ignore the pain throbbing in my left eye after a wax. I'm not sure if the wax was too hot or if she left it on too long but OUCH! It stung instantly when she rubbed the lotion on and I yelped (no pun intended). Not only did I leave sore but there were still several hairs she missed and I plucked at home and she didn't trim them, leaving me to do that as well. Maybe waxing isn't her thing but I now am left with a scanned up eye that still hurts and looked ridiculous in public. SO DISAPPOINTED and MAD! I came to this salon for a dip manicure. A good dip manicure for me usually lasts between 3-4 weeks. I will have grow out, but the actual manicure will still look great and not chip or wear away. The dip product this salon uses is a cheap product and looked really bad after just four days. The tips of my nails were bare because the dip color had worn off and on the corner of one nail the polish had chipped. They charge the standard $40 for the dip polish and that did not include a true manicure with cuticle care, lotion, oil, and hand massage. Small family owned, family run business. Everyone is friendly and even though English is their second language, they still speak it well. And they actually talk to YOU instead of talking to each other the whole time. They do a fantastic job with my nails (well, maybe not one of the younger guys), and their prices are competitive. And they always act thankful for their tips. I'm sure, as a small business they took quite a hit with closing for COVID-19. I found this place two years ago, fell in love, and have never been anywhere else for my manicures (well, I might have cheated once or twice, but quickly learned to regret it!) I originally had my nails done by Kenny for about a year before he left the salon. Since then I have seen every one of the other nail techs that works there and have never had a bad manicure. All of them do a great job, are super friendly, and Nicole always remembers everyone's name. I was shocked the first time I came in and she greeted me by name - I hadn't even remembered telling her what my name was! One thing they do that few other salons do is something called gel sets. It's like acrylic only they use gel, and top it off with gel schellac polish. This is not the same as just gel polish! It's durable like acrylic, only much gentler on your nails (just a light buffing), and lasts much, much longer. I am very hard on my nails and they always last until it's time for the next fill. Even longer, as sometimes I've had to go 3-4 weeks between fills and they are still going strong (grown out, of course, but not lifted or chipped!) And they also have a huge selection of gel polish colors. The gel sets are a little pricy, but in my opinion they are worth every penny. I think in general their prices are a tad higher than competing salons, but it is absolutely worth it for the great quality of manicures you get. read more

Everyone in the salon is friendly, and I didn't feel like an intruder or like I was interrupting like I do in some places I've had my nails done. The quality of the manicure and the time Kevin took to ensure there were no missed details like stray polish or missed edges. I am extremely disappointed. I called yesterday to schedule an appointment. I spoke with Lani who I've been going to for the past years. I always make sure that they understand what I need done before getting off the phone. I've had issues with setting up an appointment over the phone. Today I was supposed to get 2 nails fixed, a fill and a pedicure. I got off work an hour from work today so I can get my nails done. I was told by Vinny that Lani only had me set up to get my 2 nails fixed and a pedi. This was my last straw, I would never ever go back nor refer this place to anyone anymore. I was in yesterday with a friend of mine. We were both wanting full sets with a design. We called for appointments and when we arrived I was sat down immediately with a nail tech while my friend waiting in a seat next to me for about 20 minutes because they were very busy. If they couldn't take us at the scheduled time, they shouldn't have said they have availability in the first place. It was very unprofessional and my friend ended up working with two different nail techs. She was extremely upset as the first nail tech said they could do the design she wanted, but the second one they switched her to clearly did not and did it anyway. I wanted a simple full set with one polish. The polish is uneven and my nails are look uneven. The tech didn't speak to me the entire time, only asked what color I wanted and what length. I dropped in to this salon hoping to find a local nail place I like. I was not impressed by the cleanliness and decor. The front desk was weirdly located and I didn't feel welcomed. What really made me leave this salon one star is the horrible movie choice. No one goes to the nail salon to watch quality cinema but this was so distracting. It was a raunchy, cheap film that I would be embarrassed to admit I had semi-seen it, even in the background of my mani/pedi. I walked out after trying to read on my phone for 10 minutes with stupid sex jokes in the background. I doubt I would have been serviced soon anyway. read more

Have you ever left a nail place $50 poorer and looking worse than when you came in? I did. The design was beautiful, but I came in with dry scaled feet from this dry a Arizona heat and left with even dryer cracked feet. I paid the extra for the deluxe pedicure. I told them my feet were dry as all get out and was told "no problem. We'll fix it." Like I said, I loved loved loved my design, but the rest was bs. I'm sad that I wasted my money. The first woman that did my toes was rude and she picked out the wrong color nail polish than the one I originally showed her, then she blamed me for her mistake and told me that I had told her a different color earlier. She was clearly annoyed that she had to take off the nail polish and re-do them and was not being very gentle. (My poor toes stung so bad!) The second girl I had was much more friendly and did an amazing job on my manicure, her name was Christina and I highly recommend her! Overall I am happy with the way my nails turned out and if it wasn't for the first girl being rude and not being able to put the tip on my debit card I would have gladly given a 5 star review. read more

So after 2 horrible experiences at 2 other Mesa nail salons, I was about to give up, especially because they both had great Yelp reviews. But I decided to give this place a shot.. I made an appt the day before for a full set & pedi. The appt was in the system when I arrived(unlike another place I attempted). They sat me down right away and immediately started my pedicure. They asked if the water temp was Ok, which it was, and offered to start the massage chair. Peter worked on my pedi, and Vinnie was fun to talk to next me. Peter did a fantastic job..focused, didn't waste time and very polite. Vinnie did a great job on the woman next to me, too! Peter gave me a hot stone massage which was Incredible!! Apparently, it's standard there--what?!! Kevin worked on my full set. I hate getting pedis and full sets on the same day, but Kevin was quick, meticulous and did an outstanding job! If you've ever had a full set, you know it can hurt--I didn't feel anything the entire time. The arm massage was great, AND since I'd never been, he said he would fix my full set if it didn't last 2 weeks--which I've had nails pop off at other places after 1 week because they're so rushed & backed up...So, it was refreshing that he believed in his work and was confident that I would be happy. I've also experienced being turned away because nail places were "too busy" but this salon had more than 2 people working and not only accepted walk-ins, but actually helped them immediately as well. My mom went here today after being referred by her friends. Kevin was one of the rudest nail techs she had ever come in contact with. My mom has had acrylics for years- when she went into the salon Kevin mentioned that it would be the same price if he removed them and placed a new set on. Well once he took them off he began doing just a basic gel manicure- which is not what she wanted. When she corrected him, he got really short with her and said "you said you had gel, we don't do powder here." Well sir, you obviously took her acrylics off- so no she didn't have gel. He then decides to tell her that she shouldn't do acrylics anymore and instead do gel. Maybe he was having a bad day- but his attitude was definitely inappropriate and unprofessional. read more
