CJ did an amazing job on my nails and my pedicure looks beautiful. I was in and out in less than two hours for a full set with toes, and they look so good. I definitely just found my new go to salon because the service here was impeccable. The massage chairs were fully functional, they used disposable products where they could, and everything was clean and sanitary. Make an appointment online the day before, because they fill up quick. The nail tech cut my toenails way too short without asking first. I came in for a basic pedicure, not to have my nails trimmed down to the skin. Now I'm worried about discomfort and potential ingrown toenails, especially with an upcoming hiking trip. For someone who appeared experienced, this felt careless and avoidable. I followed Anne from another nail salon, CJ does great nails with 3D stuff and diamonds and elaborate designs on long nails but I like Anne because she can do such cute small character designs. She does thin almond shape nails which are my favorite! I change my mind a lot during the process of which design I want and both CJ and Anne have been patient with me. I had a pedicure as well and the guy doing it took his time and gave the greatest massage on my legs for the basic pedi. I also got paraffin wax on my feet and it was perfect temp. Today was my first time in and I had an appointment with CJ. He was so welcoming when I first came and throughout the whole time I was getting my spa pedicure and full set! Customer Service is super important to me and CJ made me feel important and welcome from the time I walked in to when it was time for me to leave. They're in such a hurry they can't take the time to do things right...rushed and did not get full experience. This was the quickest pedicure and paint job IVE EVER RECEIVED!! Aways a customer waiting so they're hurrying to get you done to get the next customer. My paint job is not nice and neat it's rushed, jagged, and Lumpy! Poor service and increases prices. Since new ownership took over, the techs don't soak both feet before they began to trim nails when getting a pedicure. My nails were not filed to feel smooth and because I didn't have flip flops to wear home, said it would take a hour for my nails to dry and that I couldn't wait in the chair for an hour. This is my 3rd appointment at this salon. This is the 2nd time they have called/text to change the time. Each of my previous appointments were okay, This time was the worst episode I have ever had in any salon in any city. First, I requested a pedicure. The service was okay until she got mad because I couldn't straighten out my leg due to a knee replacement. The she looked at the bottom of my feet and says she cannot do callus removal, so I told her to stop the service. 2nd, my 87 year old mother was getting a gel fill in. I always believe in 2nd chances. However, this is their last chance with me. This is the 3nd time they used that cheese grater callous remover on me and left my feet a bloody hot mess. The man who gave me a pedicure was very anti social, spoke to his co-worker, not me and did a lousy job on my nails. Since changing owners this place is the worst. Beware the fees for services are written in pen on a piece of paper scratched out with prior charges. They will say a fill is $40 but nickle and dime you for a broken nail, shape change or length difference. The new owner has given two nail techs to manage the shop only because they speak English the best but have no managerial experience. When I questioned the prices have gone up the manager Sam became belligerent yelling at me that the prices were the same. I have been a long term customer over 2 years and cannot believe the treatment I received on my last experience. I will never ever go back to this salon. read more
