The service was SOOO BAD! Food was okay at best but i worry about sanitation. Ambiance is fine. When we got there, the table was still dirty The plates were almost never cleared. We had no water for 15 minutes. The only time the service was good was when they tried rushing us out the door. She literally checked the tips in front of us. I tip on service and it was the worst i have given in years unfortunately. I was ready to give a 20 on a 50$ bill. The tip wasn't great, but she asked if i made a mistake. No i didn't, i had to beg y'all for service. I hope the owners read this. Your staff is lazy as crap, it needs to be fixed. I hope it was just a bad day, cause this was bad.

This place was very clean, and the staff was friendly. Our waiter checked up on us periodically, and made sure we were doing okay. The meats were cut nicely, and they delivered our food to our table pretty fast. We also tried the takoyaki which came out hot and fresh, it was super delicious. We ordered the kimchee fried rice which was cooked well and had flavor. We just wished there was more meat options, but other than that definitely recommend this place and will be coming back!

New in Layton. All you can eat Korean hotpot BBQ. Finally a new, affordable spot in Layton. This place was great. The service was great. The menu is great (see attached). The price is amazing. Plenty of seating, very clean. Open for Lunch and Dinner. They serve Coke products. Plenty of parting spots.

I've been on the hunt for a great Korean BBQ spot, and my brother-in-law recommended Ombu. Wow, what a find! At just $25.99 per person, it's all-you-can-eat, and you can order as much meat, appetizers, soup and etc. as you want, you only pay extra for drinks and dessert. The food is absolutely delicious, the prices are unbeatable, the ambiance is really nice, and the place is spotless. Everyone here is so friendly and welcoming, and to top it off, some of their boba drinks are buy-one-get-one! Easily my new favorite spot. I'll definitely be back again and again.

All the food we had was amazing and it was A LOT of food! We tried the beef loin, chicken, kimchi fried rice (yes, please!), noodles, cheese roll and spring roll. We got the chocolate crepe cake for dessert. Service was fantastic, and it was a super clean restaurant.

Oh my goodness. This is the first korean bbq spot that is all-you-can-eat in the area. I just don't understand why it took this long for this amazing place to finally show up. The demographics is already here, and there is a real miss opportunity to have a larger asian food scene in the north. Often time I have to go south, particularly in Salt lake city to get quality, authentic Korean food. This place is incredible. There is a lunch deal and a dinner deal. Be sure to look up the schedule for the deal. Basically, you're given a menu and you just pick whatever you want. It's all under the same lunch deal. It's a buffet essentially but the quality is very good. Make yourself comfortable and get anything to cook --- bulgogi, beef brisket, pork belly, or anything. The menu is reasonable with selections. If you don't want to cook entirely, you can still order some amazing fry chicken, soup, fried rice, spring roll, and incredible amount of selection. Enjoy!

    Starting with veggies and fruit.

Out standing food. We love going there I was going to list our favorite food but we love everything we have tried

Recently I was in Sunset visiting my sister. She had not had the pleasure of experiencing Thai,…read moreVietnamese or Korean cuisine. From Yelp reviews, we started the gastronomic adventure with lunch at Pad Thai. After a pleasant meal, I inquired as to where I could locate an Asian grocery store. The lovely lady tending us directed us to Z World Express. It took a couple of passes up and down Main street looking at both ends of the RV lot we were directed to look for before spying the brick building with red white and blue sign. Not much to see from the outside, no hint that groceries are there, but on inside, jackpot!! This place is packed floor to ceiling with tiny aisles you have to squeeze through. There is a nice representation of Thai, Vietnamese, Korean, and some Indian selections. There are several chest freezers filled with a plethora of frozen seafood. The back wall is a bank of coolers with a nice selection of fresh veggies, Fresh Pho Noodles, and other tasy treats. I picked up Tom Yum soup base, Masaman Curry Paste, coconut cream, Thai Tea, instant Pho broth, Mabo Tofu sauce and a nice selection of snacks. Prices are actually a little less than what I am used to paying in Seattle, another nice bonus. The owners were very engaging and very helpful. They directed us to Best Teriyaki for a Korean fix, which turned out to be spot on. Good service, excellent selection of foods, definitely a hidden gem

This was by FAR my worst dining experience ever! I am not even kidding you. And the fact that this…read morerestaurant was featured on "Shark Tank" and all the sharks were interested is beyond my imagination. Certainly NOT a fan of Mark Cuban after this (as if I ever was..lol... once upon a time maybe). First of all, I ordered two Cupbop's with absolutely NO rice or noodles. I wanted just straight veggies with my two meat preferences which were Koko (tender Korean beef) and at a small additional fee Korean marinated BBQ beef. I requested the spice level of 9 (as I like my dishes HOT) with the sauce on the side. I did receive two separate small sauce condiment cups for each bop. I did not receive ANY veggies! It was ALL clumped together hard white rice with barely a handful of the KoKo and beef. I even separated it out and took photos for reference so you can see how SMALL the meat portions are! I have never felt so ripped off in my life (and trust me, that's saying something)! I also ordered a side of three Mandoo (which were at least decent), but thank GOD that I requested my Cupbop's sauce on the side otherwise there would have been no sauce for those. I have been to every teriyaki grill, Korean establishment, Japanese..etc..bulgogi...this restaurant is really one that does it ALL wrong! The rice wasn't even edible and I didn't even want it, so it got tossed. Took photos of both Cupbop's meat combined and out of each bop. We will not be hearing about this chain 20 years from now, and more than likely, not ten! My receipt showed my whole order as I requested correctly. What exactly is wrong with the Layton employees? Can they not read? Do they just not care?? This definitely is NOT what was represented on Shark Tank and I'm thinking just like everyone else that gets money and fame too quickly..how QUICKLY they fall! Save your money folks. Teriyaki Grill is where it's at. Next is Q-One in the Layton mall. They at least read instructions though it's a bit too oiled down. Here though....a dumpster could've given me more meat behind McDonald's!

I learned on my first ever visit to trust instincts on spicy tolerances. I love how they…read moreaccommodated the smaller kids size for me and that they helped me to know what level my true tolerance would be for ordering which made for a really great dish. My now husband (he was fiancé when we went) ordered a level 8, and he said that it was the perfect spicy. He ordered 8 so I would maybe try it, and I did, and I think I had some tears. I'm kind of a wimp with spicy, but the flavor that lingered was the standout. It's hard to find that in sauces and they nailed it! The restaurant was clean and roomy and it was just overall a great experience.
