Excellent care for men. The office staff is professional and friendly. I'm pleased I did my homework and found OMC for my TRT.

Top notch outfit. The patient is treated with respect and dignity. Go here immediately. Best medical treatment I've ever received.

I expressed my frustration at the lack of transparency regarding this to Katie the NP I was scheduled with as I had taken time off work for the app and needed to discuss both migraines and tapering off trazodone. She lacked empathy and was very rude insisting I had to pick one to discuss. I walked out as that is not the quality of care I'm looking for and felt very misled!

The next day I was seen by Collins, and I have to say was one of the most pleasurable experiences "in office" that I have ever received. The appointment was not rushed, and I truly felt that the team here really cared about my health and was seeking solutions. I am also that one in 1,000 that have the tiniest of veins and they roll. So, mentioning that to Collins he assured me that if the phlebotomist could not draw blood that he would. Let me tell you that this is very rare, and it indicates the level of care and once again integrity this place has. Madeline was the wonderful young woman who took my blood. She was very gentle and understood that my veins are very scrawny and opted for a hand vein. The blood draw experience was amazing, and I cannot recommend her enough. She even gave me a handheld heating pad to bring out the veins more. You should be so lucky to get her as she typically works in the Portland area. I guess I just got fortunate. Also, another sign of a great blood draw is no pain or bruising afterwards in which I have none. The team here is wonderful, compassionate and I really felt that my care and needs were met. Please look no further...!! They offer so much here. Take advantage now because when the lovely people of Springfield and Eugene get wind of how wonderful this place truly is, you may be waiting for longer appointments. Establish yourself now. Thank you Riccara, Collins and Madeline. You were all so very amazing...!!!

Dr. Gilchrist has a profoundly sane approach to patient care including empathy, humor and access. I am able to reach my doctor any time, and receive a response almost immediately. He is available via text always and is also quite easy to schedule with. I have never (never!) had to wait to see him. Beyond being very knowledgeable, easy to talk with and amazingly kind, Dr. Gilchrist also provides a level of care that is incredible. He has dropped off prescriptions for me, been proactive with insurance issues and worked diligently to find me other providers, such as physical therapy, who are equally good. Concierge care may require new thinking at first. Paying a subscription rate on top of insurance can seem prohibitive, but when given the level of care and contact, it's actually quite a bargain. Dr. Gilchrist has seen me several times a month, as well as offered referrals, text consults and encouragement, all within my monthly cost. No copay, no additional fees, and of course all services that he refers too work with insurance as usual. It's an easy win- and genuinely adds to my health and well being to be part of his concierge practice. I would encourage anyone to get in and see Dr. Gilchrist! He's the absolute best!

I would give ZERO stars, if possible. Dr. Jane Neary was my doctor at McKenzie Family Practice for…read morea couple of years, and she is the absolute WORST! I've seen some bad doctors throughout my life, but I have yet to meet anyone who has the level of disrespect, apathy, incompetence, and laziness as Neary does. She should not be allowed to even "practice" medicine. She misdiagnosed me at least twice (can't even properly identify rosacea). If she couldn't find what was causing a health issue, she wouldn't look into it any further. She would just shrug her shoulders. She clearly does no research, doesn't keep up on current medicine, and doesn't ask her colleagues for their professional medical opinion. Basically, she wants you out of her office as soon as possible. The last straw for me was when I made an appointment with her, asking for help because I had lost a lot of weight due to a very stressful, traumatic life experience. I basically wanted to get some labs done to ensure that my health was still in relatively good condition, find a healthy way to gain the weight back, and I also explained to her what I had been going through. She immediately tried pushing anti-depressants on me... Just a band-aid to the issue (for which I was seeing a psychologist to work through). I have tried 4 different anti-depressants in the past, only to find that they made everything worse, including my health. I respectfully relayed this information to Neary, and she was instantly angry that I didn't want to take the anti-depressants. I told her how sick they made me, and she said in a very cold, unprofessional, and disrespectful manner, "Well you look sick already!". After that appointment, I was rightfully upset by what had happened. My doctor was supposed to be my advocate, not a mean jerk. I am better at writing what's on my mind than speaking it, so I wanted to calmly collect my thoughts and politely relay them to her. I let her know that I felt disrespected during the appointment and that I need to be able to openly communicate with my physician in a respectful, safe, and compassionate environment. After that, she immediately dismissed me from her practice without any advance notice. She knew I was in the middle of seeking treatment, but rather than apologize for her incredibly unprofessional behavior or make the situation right, she left me out on my own with no primary care physician. She also made a point to accuse me of having an eating disorder when she knew damn well that I do not and never have had one... Especially since part of the reason I made the appointment in the first place was to ask about a going to nutritionist so that I could put weight back on in a healthy way. I've never been so insulted by a so-called "medical professional". Stay far, far away from Neary. She is an absolutely awful person and negligent "doctor".

When there's a true crisis, Dr Neary goes far out of her way to assist a patient, spending a great deal of her time in relieving the patient's mental anguish as well as the physical symptoms. Her assistant, Leah, is a knowledgeable, personable gem of a human being, too.

They did seem good, and I genuinely liked most of them. The hospital is in a nice location and we appreciated having sunlight and views. But the hospital is bad with communicating with each other and with us family members, bad with paperwork and legal bureaucracy, bad with computers. I watched my brother writhing in pain for 45 minutes while a nurse couldn't get the computer to allow the next dose of pain meds to come through. Eventually a pharmacy worker came up and they stood around the computer going, "Huh! That's interesting. Never seen that before." I had to file my power of attorney documents multiple times. "Maybe you should file it again with us in person," one guy said. I had already filed it, in person, at their front desk, and even had the receipt for it. The real hands-on medical staff was focused on my brother's basic health needs to some degree, and I am thankful for the medical professionals who saved his life. The hospital SYSTEM only cared about getting my brother out of his hospital bed as soon as possible, into some other kind of care facility, even though he'd caught a new bacterial infection while in their hospital.
