I asked if the clothes could be ready after 4 pm next day. Some had stains and so they said they needed extra time. So, I was resigned to the fact that I wouldn't be able to bring those outfits on my business trip - in retrospect, it was unreasonable to ask for next day service. In any case, when I went in next day to pick up a portion of the cleaning - a couple of blouses - I was told that they got everything done. The attendant said 'we know you travel for work and thought you might have a last minute long trip, so we got everything read for you'. I was thrilled and very appreciative of the effort - it's likely someone had to stay late to get the work done. I will always recommend Wayne cleaners.

To use the Speed Queen on its heavy cycle (it seems that prices vary according to cycle choice), it's $8.75, which I find quite pricy. I assume it will take 25 minutes to dry my comforter in the single dryer, which will be $1.25. ($0.50 to start, $0.25 for extra five minutes). So it means it will cost me about $10 to wash my medium weight comforter. Not cheap, but buying a new queen size comforter will be at least $40. The facility seems to be well kept and very busy. All in all, I'm glad there is a laundromat when I need it.

The return for the HVAC is 50 percent on the reverse side has collapsed and the other side is caked with lint. There are 2 clocks on the walls and both need a battery charge ( both not working). Emergency lighting with battery backup do not work.That is a safety issue, and while we're at when was the last time they had a fire inspection on the system? I brought in two items for minor repairs last week.Having been a repeat customer for repairs, I was surprised to be asked for payment upfront as I had always paid upon pickup in the past. When I mentioned not having my wallet on hand but offered to return quickly with my card, the clerk told me that work would only begin once full payment was made. I returned promptly from my car to pay, still a bit taken aback by the change in policy and tone. After running my card, the clerk became visibly uncomfortable and, in an attempt to explain, said, "It's not you, it's not you. Other black people leave their repairs and don't come back. That's why we need pay ahead of service; it's not you." Her comments were shocking and deeply troubling. To imply that requiring upfront payment was justified because "other black people" didn't return and to frame this in conversation with me, a double minority (woman and person of color), was offensive and unacceptable. What made this experience even more disappointing was not just the racist undertone, but the idea that somehow acknowledging "it's not you" would make the comment acceptable. I expected professional service and respect, not prejudiced assumptions or insensitive explanations. It's disheartening to realize that such biases exist, even among individuals who themselves are part of marginalized groups. I share this review in hopes of raising awareness and encouraging accountability. No one should experience such treatment at any business and I sincerely hope changes will be made so that others are welcomed and respected without prejudice.

In using the coin release button some money was returned but not all of it. As a result I lost $5.00. I tried calling their number to talk to someone and was greeted with "the voice mail box is full". The owner of this establishment should ensure that customers do not get ripped off and keep their equipment working properly. Sadly, I will never return.

I think this just goes to show how trust worthy they are and how much they care about their work. My other items came back just as I asked for.
