    Assorted donuts

Picked up donuts this morning and received great service from the sweet young lady at the counter! She was so patient with our indecision and we finally chose our dozen donuts and she packed everything well. The donuts were delicious! The Asian family making the donuts do a wonderful job keeping the donuts light and fluffy and glazing them properly to achieve a nice clear shiny glaze!

This place is a hidden gem. I just happened to see a sign at the end of the road one day and have been going there each time that "got to have a donut" urge hits. It is a small shop but offers a wide assortment of donuts and drinks. The store is very clean and bright, and all the staff I have met have been friendly and courteous. We picked up a dozen assorted donuts for our granddaughter and her overnight guest. To get a dozen assorted donuts, it costs $14.99 right now which is the going rate, which is cheaper than Indy. They did run out of glazed donuts this time so to insure you get your favorite, try to go early! This donut shop is so much better than getting donuts from grocery stores. There really is no comparison, they are all freshly made that day and we have never been disappointed. I have been known to sneak a few of their donut holes on the drive home. There is no drive-thru at this location. Later in the day, I tried a plain glazed donut that was solid in the middle, i.e. no hole. OMG puts the filing in the donuts after you chose your filing, not ahead of time. But this donut had no filing. I was surprised how much I liked it with no filing. I loved it so much I had a second one.

Still lovely! The employees and overs are so nice. The latte I assume is what I would call a cuban. The espresso definitely came across as such and they automatically add a sweetened syrup. I probably would've loved it if this was my expectation, but I was in the mood for something slightly different so didn't enjoy it quite the same at the time. Donuts still good.

Friendly staff, great selection of of donuts, pastries to choose from. Honestly everything in the case looked good. I wanted to sample it all. I'll have to come back and try some of the other flavors. Today I walked away with a red velvet cake donut & an apple fritter. Mrs daughter went with a maple glazed & a chocolate glazed. The donuts were delicious and I look forward to trying more in the future. Also noteworthy is that they serve kolaches, which I haven't seen in Lexington before. I'd like to try one to compare to the great one that I had in Texas.

This tiny place is obviously popular. There was a line out the door. I perused the showcase, listening to the orders. The Tigertail seemed a popular choice, and it was a good one. This glazed donut had a cinnamony swirl in it. I only bought the one as it was my breakfast. Close donuts can be a dangerous thing. 97

First time trying this establishment. My first impression of this is a Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde mishmash. On the one hand, the chocolate donut with the chocolate icing should have been tossed out two days okay as it was dry and hard. Big no. But the glazed donut was soft and light and airy. So that's a yes. The bacon, egg and cheese biscuit appears to be a canned biscuit in size and consistency (even has the flaky layers you see in a refrigerated canned biscuit) -- so, that's a pass. The croissants on the other hand are tasty and good consistency, so that was okay. They serve gravy and biscuits that look like gravy and biscuits so that's a plus for this Appalachian girl. But they failed to send any utensils and I'm not eating gravy with my hands so that's a big no and nothing else was worth writing home about, sadly. Ps. When I did try the gravy and biscuits it did indeed appear to be that they use a refrigerated canned biscuit and what tasted like gravy from a mix. Not horrible but not restaurant quality either. The price at first appeared good at two donuts, two sandwiches and a small gravy biscuit for just 20.00 - but when you consider the quality and what you're getting or not getting - it's not a bargain in the long run. Overall, I was disappointed. I mean the place is called OMG donuts for Pete's sake. With a name like that, you need consistent and amazing donuts across the board and they just can't deliver on that, sad to say. Bottom line - my advice, For donuts... skip this place and head over to Dunkin. Donuts or just about anywhere else for a better variety and quality. If you're nearby and hungry, then it might be worth stopping in for a croissant or gravy and biscuit. We Doordashed and won't be choosing this place again because it just didn't have enough positives going for it. Also, in the days of safety and packaging, donuts were dropped unwrapped in a small paper bag, wrapped sandwiches in another small brown bag and biscuits and gravy in a Styafoam container in yet a third brown bag which was stapled. All three of the brown bags were placed in a Plato's bag that was tied up. Wanted to love this one. Just couldn't do it.

I have heard about this place about 2 week ago, but I never got to go. Saturday I had some free time and I decided to go. I was told they had some unique pastries, but I didn't see anything special. I only purchased donut holes. Great deal at 6 for 99 cents. Nothing special. If I'm in mood for donuts, I'm going to Parlor.

OMG Donuts was one of my last stops on my Lexington "Donut Tour" because it's a bit further away from me, but let me tell you, this is not a place to skip out on!! I had my favorite kinds of donuts which are chocolate cream filled long Johns and blueberry cake donuts. The long John was one of the lightest fluffiest donuts I've ever had. The cream was also very good and had a strong vanilla flavor. The blueberry cake donut had a lot of glaze which made it deliciously crispy on the outside but very soft inside. The employees were very friendly and I would definitely love to come back again! I went around 8:30am on a Friday and there were plenty of donuts and no crowd.

Instead, we began what could best be described as a communication workshop. We repeated our order once. Then again. Then the way you repeat things when you start wondering if the speaker is connected to the same reality you are. Eventually the reassuring phrase came through the intercom: *"Okay, got it."* In my experience, that sentence at a drive-thru often translates to: *"Brace yourself."* By the time we reached the window, the order had somehow **duplicated itself**, and we were being charged twice. After untangling that small mystery, we were handed a single smoothie that was *mostly* what we had asked for... mostly, the way a mispronounced word is mostly understandable if you hear it enough times. At first the drink tasted fine. Then a strange aftertaste arrived. Not from the fruit, but from the experience itself. It made me wonder if a simple pre-shift routine might help: a quick ear-cleaning, a few pages of Hooked on Phonics, maybe some vocal warm-ups so words like "strawberry banana" don't have to travel through the drive-thru like a rumor. Because the equipment worked beautifully. The blender blended. The cup held liquid. The straw functioned as designed. The only thing that didn't quite come together was the one ingredient the whole process depends on. **Listening.** We drove away with a smoothie, and a side of epic and fail..

I ordered a toasted marshmallow latte with oat milk ( would recommend this order btw) I'm not sure if it was a shift change or something but when we pulled up to receive our coffee it took longer than I was hoping. I'm not a big complainer because I know sometimes you have to wait that isn't a big deal just that the baristas seemed to be bothered by my presence. So, I had to wait until all of the cars in front of me placed their order at the door, wait for their order to be prepared and served, and then finish their conversation - before the next car repeated the process. I saw 2 servers (1 for each lane), 1 preparer that brought the completed order to the server, and 4 people hanging around smiling and laughing. I'm glad they like their job. If I had known it would take 20 minutes to get my drink, I would have driven past, made a u-turn, and gone to the Human Bean across the street - which I will do next time.

The bad: * the shake come from a powdered shake mix. That wasn't really clear from the website or reviews. However, if you are a protein shake person, this isn't really an issue. * the macros are not listed. This is not good. I need to know specifically how many net carbs are in this. (At the very least the base shake macros should be put up on the site. We can look up 1/4 c. Strawberries. ) People who do Keto or low carb lifestyles NEED this information. This shake has roughly 13 carbs. Which can be quite a bit if this is a snack. * size options seem to be 24oz! Whoa! That is huge!! I would struggle with 12 oz shake. There are kid sizes, but no clue on the size *sticker shock. This shake was 8 and some change! I didn't see a price listed. I also didn't see one for the kids shakes. The good: * the shake was tasty. * there are a huge list of flavors combinations-brownie batter, birthday cake, choco-banana, strawberry pineapple... the list goes on. * this is better for you and your kids than fast food restaurants Overall, I would like to see the changes of the macros/nutritional information posted. I would also like to see smaller sizes. I know a number of people that had bariatric Surgery and would love this, but would not be able to drink 24oz, but could benefit from tasty protein shakes. With a few small tweaks, this place could be hopping with Keto people, gym nuts, parents who don't want to feed their kid a boat load of sugar and all those people who had gastric surgery. Keep it up.
