I needed someone to get my kids ready for school in the morning and drive them to school, clean my house, and cook dinner, and that's exactly what I got. She is professional, responsive to my needs, and arrives at least five minutes early. The one thing I wasn't entirely prepared for was interviewing by asking my own questions, which I guess I should've thought about beforehand, but Maria helped me get started. I honestly don't get all of the negative reviews; it would appear as though that comes from a lack of communication of expectations from the employer.

I retained her about 1.5 years ago to help me find a nanny for our family. She found me a placement and charged me and the nanny a large fee. Fortunately our nanny has worked out for us and we love her tremendously, and vice versa. However, I recently found out by my nanny that Maria reached out to her and asked her if she wants to look for a new family and make more money. Our nanny said she is very happy where she is and does not feel the need to make a move. I talked to some others who have used Maria, and this is apparently a very common thing that she does: rip nannies from their families a few months or a year into the placement just so she can continue making money off of them, even at the expense of tearing families apart and severely impacting working families' lives. I tried calling Maria yesterday to speak with her directly, but I believe she screened my call and did not pick up. Stay away from this woman and her agency unless you want to risk this happening to you!!
