Bad customer service. Did some of teeth filling here, first time they put too much material resulting me biting myself until next appointment that can fix the issues. Second time the filling break apart on the same day and it seems like the lady who did that also left a grinding mark on the tooth next to it. Won't recommend in the future. read more

I was happy for a long time with that office. It wasn't pretty recently. First, we had disagreement with Dr. Hanlon which teeth I should fill. I expected one. He pushed for three. He couldn't show a convincing image. Just the xray which wasn't conclusive at all. Especially small dents on a surface which my teeth have a bunch. Dental camera would be obvious but he never offered it. He suggested "....trust and agree on what I said or change the doctor. That how it works here. We don't offer a menu". I doubt many patients would love this kind of treatment. Meanwhile, my mouth belongs to me, I pay for that work and I finally want to understand and decide what to do. Not to be pressed "drill baby drill". I'm 64 and had seen a lot of this pressure. I could take photos at home with my $150 dental camera, why can't them? It takes seconds. I believe if you want trust you need to earn it, not to demand. It would cause exactly opposite effect. Explain and show what you want to do and why. We are not idiots, we could understand. Second, Dr. Hanlon brought another dentist to do the filling after he drilled and walked away. That was frustrating. Another one definitely was not experienced and spent more than a half an hour digging in my mouth doing something over and over again, perhaps making multiple filling attempts. It was torture. Dr. Hanlon came back after I went ballistic, he finished and polished himself. My appointment was with him, not with unattended rookie. Such a switch should not happened without my consent. Hope that feeling will stay. I am going to take his advice to change the dentist. read more

I've seen multiple doctors and hygienists at Omni Dental in the past three years- everyone without exception is so kind, and I genuinely feel like I'm getting the best care. I also appreciate how thorough Drs. Hanlon and Rabinovich are when they're explaining the treatment they recommend. A terrible experience. Firstly, the practice is very business-oriented and seems focused on increasing your expenses. They tend to recommend treatments that are not covered by insurance, resulting in higher costs. Patients are left with no choice but to either undergo this costly service or go back home. Basic medical ethics are being ignored. Secondly, pushy and does not seem to value the concerns of the patients. Lastly, within a span of one month, I visited three times, and all they did was conduct checks; even the pretreatment cost me $132 + $200. read more

If I could give this place a 0 star rating I would. I had a terrible experience with Omnidental. They like to prey on people and drive up expenses--definitely a for-profit dentist and not there to actually help you. They also like to fear monger and insist on doing dental treatments that are not typically covered by insurance which are expensive. I ended up there by mistake as a college student not from the Pittsburgh area who did not have a car and needed an emergency tooth pulling in the way back of my mouth (this dental place was right along the busline and within walking distance for me). My dentist (Dr. Dennis Rabinovich, if anyone was wondering) was incredibly rude and pushy and tried to fear monger in order to get me to pay hundreds of dollars out of pocket for an unnecessary procedure by claiming that my other teeth would fall out or need to be pulled if I did not go through with the additional procedures (I am 2 years post tooth-pulling and my teeth are literally fine). I ended up getting another opinion from my dentist back home because he continued to push needing these treatments every time I visited after getting said tooth pulled, and the other dentist told me that I made the right call by saying no because the procedures were not necessary. The lack of professional conduct in the office is astounding, as many times the dental hygienist and dentist would be laughing about me or other patients within hearing range. Not a good look. Their receptionists are also quite rude and lack phone etiquette. There were several times in the last two years that I had to go back into the office and get cavities redone because he messed them up, something that astounded me because I have never once had issues with multiple cavities until I started seeing this dentist and they started claiming that I had upwards of 10 cavities that needed fixing. I have been debating writing this review for the past year because any interaction with these folks has always left me seething, but after going to my new dentist today, I decided on finally sharing about my experience here. I have to get 6 cavities refilled by my new dentist for at least the third time because Dr. Rabinovich has failed to do them properly in spite of all of the times he has redone them, in what I suspect is an attempt to just get more money out of me and damage my teeth so that I have to continue to come back for costly procedures. I would highly recommend avoiding this place at all costs. read more

I had a dentist... That I loved and I thought I would never ever go to anyone else. Then he became out of network when I got married and went on different insurance. All I can say is I'm glad I found this place. The care is exceptional and far exceeded my expectations of quality service and care. The office aesthetic is tastefully done & so clean. It's very welcoming and makes you feel comfortable. Doesn't hurt that the music is great too. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm glad I had to switch. Go see Dr Hanlon! read more

I DO NOT recommend this establishment. They gave my girlfriend a prescription for antibiotics for an abscess tooth, but they didn't provide a DEA number, so the pharmacy won't give her antibiotics; furthermore, the emergency contact number does not answer, nor does he call back after leaving 7 voicemails. She is crying in pain, and these cocksuckers can't even call us back. Ohhh and here's the kicker: they won't operate on her tooth for nearly 3 weeks, and want to charge her $3,000. I had an excellent experience at Omni Dental. Dr. Hanlon is very skilled and he has a lovely, welcoming way about him. Mary the dental assistant is very good at her job and she's a wonderful, down to earth person, one of those people you feel like you've known a long time. Lindsay took care of my insurance and scheduling-no problem. I feel I am in very good hands with Omni. I could tell that right away. Everything is very state of the art too. Cant forget that and the design of the office is well done, creating a warm calming environment. Just what we all need for a dentist. I think it's apparent that I highly recommend them. read more
