Deeply Unprofessional, Retaliatory, and Harmful Experience My experience with Omni Dermatology has been incredibly frustrating, unprofessional, and ultimately retaliatory. I initially came in with a compromised skin barrier--what I thought was eczema turned out to be irritation from prolonged use of 10% sulfur OTC products. I clearly stated I needed to avoid topicals like retinoids and benzoyl peroxide due to hypersensitivity, yet Nurse Practitioner Martinez recommended topical antibiotics that had never worked for me. Worse, I was later prescribed topical retinoids by Dr. Dickman, which further worsened my skin barrier--despite my specific warnings. This level of disregard for a patient's condition is concerning and unacceptable. Rather than offering a thoughtful systemic treatment plan, I had to push for oral options myself. I was prescribed doxycycline and spironolactone, neither of which helped--and doxycycline made me physically ill. Historically, the only treatment that's worked for my flare-ups has been oral Accutane, especially when topicals are too harsh. I specifically saw Dr. Craig Wiggins to begin the iPledge process. He seemed supportive and said we could start in two months. But when I followed up, Dr. Fumento resisted moving forward, citing my use of an antidepressant--even though I was stable and clearly disclosed this upfront. She also insisted I come in person to proceed, despite previous assurance that telehealth would be sufficient. I complied and scheduled a same-day appointment, but was instead seen by Dr. Dickman, who abruptly reversed the plan, advised against Accutane, and blamed my irritation on hypothetical future dryness from Accutane--ignoring the actual harm caused by inappropriate topical treatments they had prescribed. I was given adapalene, which didn't worsen my skin but also didn't help. Topical antibiotics remained ineffective. To make things worse, when I brought up Accutane and iPledge during my May 12, 2025, visit with Dr. Dickman, his nurse laughed at me. That moment was completely unprofessional and deeply invalidating. As a woman of reproductive age (who is abstinent, no less), the iPledge system already feels needlessly hostile--but this conduct was inexcusable and dehumanizing. The Hippocratic Oath at Omni felt more like a "hypocritic" one. Despite all of this, I attempted to give Omni another chance. I scheduled a virtual appointment with Dr. Wiggins on June 26, 2025. During that visit, he told me I needed to come in person to enroll in iPledge, take a pregnancy test in-office, and complete blood work five weeks later to begin Accutane. I followed instructions and scheduled my in-person visit for June 30, 2025. But on the morning of June 30--the day of my appointment--I received a voicemail from the clinic saying my appointment was canceled because I was being discharged as a patient. This, despite me considering editing my previous reviews to reflect what I thought was progress. Instead, they doubled down and told my primary care physician to send a referral elsewhere. I later spoke with the office manager, Tori, who was extremely rude and confirmed I was discharged because I had posted multiple critical (but truthful) reviews about my experience. It's clear my rights as a patient and citizen were used against me. This was blatant retaliation for exercising my right to share honest feedback. At this point, I am seriously considering filing a grievance with my insurance provider--and potentially a lawsuit. This clinic not only failed in its duty of care but acted with hostility toward a vulnerable patient seeking help. If you're someone with sensitive skin, a complex medical history, or mental health concerns--think twice before trusting Omni Dermatology with your care. read more

I have been coming to this dermatologist's office for the past couple of months for wart removal treatment for both myself and my daughter. We were seen by Craig Wiggins. During our first visit, we were treated well, and I agreed to gel treatment for my daughter and freeze treatment for myself. However, during our second visit, he entered the room without greeting us or explaining anything and immediately began applying gel to my finger without discussing why the freeze treatment was no longer being used. When I asked why, he simply said it was because it was "looking better," even though no explanation or plan was discussed beforehand. At every visit, we are repeatedly asked what we are being seen for, which is concerning since this should already be documented in our medical notes. After several months of treatment, neither my daughter's nor my wart has improved or shown noticeable changes. At our most recent visit, we came in hoping to explore other treatment options, but the only option provided was a prescription that we were told had little to no success. After applying the gel, the provider was dismissive and stated, "Call me when you need me," without giving any guidance on follow-up care or whether we should return. Additionally, the front desk staff has consistently been rude. They frequently announce our outstanding balance loudly in front of other patients in the waiting room, which feels unprofessional and embarrassing. This is especially frustrating since payments have been taken from my bank regularly, and I am already contacted about balances by phone. Overall, this experience has been disappointing due to poor communication, lack of treatment progress, dismissive behavior, and unprofessional front desk conduct. I first went to a family doctor because I was concerned about a ball of skin forming on the side of my head. It looked like a large skin tag gone wrong and made me feel ugly. My doctor couldn't determine what it was, so she sent me a referral to see a specialist at Omni Dermatology*. I didn't know what to expect, but when I arrived, the staff was very professional and kind. Soon after, I met with the dermatologist. In less than four minutes, he knew exactly what it was. He calmly explained the situation, asked me to relax, and had me lie back. While chatting with me, he pulled out a surgical tool--then came a quick pinch, some cream, and just like that he said, "OK sir, it's gone." I was honestly shocked. I didn't expect it to be handled right then and there. Usually, doctors explain the issue, then schedule another appointment before moving forward with treatment. Instead, he solved my problem immediately at the first visit. Thankfully, my insurance covered it. The vibe at this place didn't feel like they were trying to hustle patients--it felt like they truly cared about improving people's lives. The specialist I saw, if I remember correctly his name was Dr. Craig Wiggins, he did an excellent job. He seemed very skilled, experienced, and intelligent. Thanks to him, I no longer feel ugly or worried about my health. I also found out that I had accidentally caused the growth to worsen. At one point, I had pulled at a small bump with tweezers, thinking it was a pimple. That irritated the area and caused the blood vessels to effect the skin to grow abnormally, turning it into a large, nasty-looking skin tag on the side of my head. When here because they a very smart doctor, I was suffering from aczima in my leg for more than two years and I met to Dr. before they told me this one will stay for every with you and I was disappointed, but when I went to Omni dermatology clinic one of there best doctors his name is Craig ones he saw my leg he knew what type of treatment to gave me to use for less two months my leg completely held no aching,no scratching and no pain at all. every single person that works there is extremely sweet and amazing. My daughter 3 year old goes in there three times a week for laser treatment for alopecia and every time we go in, they offer her a lollipop to make her comfortable. They always have a movie on for the kids. The staff that helps us with the laser as always, very gentle and understanding that yes she is three so she is going to move and they are very patient with her. I've been going to Omni Dermatology for several years now. They are quite efficient from beginning to end. I can pre-register and make my payment the night before. I never wait more than a few minutes for my appointment and the office staff is friendly. I usually see Dr Martinez who's also very friendly and likes the same music as me.
