At STL Virtual Reality, you can choose from a variety of VR games to play for 10 minutes at time. Each player wears a headset and holds controllers in each hand. You can immediately see and hear the game. We ran around a room, just the 2 of us, without running into the walls or each other (mostly). We switched maps for our second game and I finally was getting the hang of it. Ducking behind crates, running through portals, and riding shipping containers up and down. The pressure kicks in so that adds to the fun. I went with my fellow Yelp elite members so we had a large group so we played two rounds and ensured everyone got a a turn in 2 hours. The time really flies so enjoy every minute! A tip would be to come up with your best family friendly nickname so the MCs can call you to the stage! The two MCs were so welcoming and supportive of all of our members. They even made a few modifications for us who needed to be seated versus standing. That is a huge plus for mobility accessibility. The game room is not too noisy and all the words or numbers were large on the screen too for those with auditory concerns. The venue was very accessible and the restroom was gender neutral but I did not see a changing table to maybe leave the little littles at home. There is a room to set up banquet tables if you host a party to eat. They also sell juice, tea, lemonade, beer, seltzer, soda, and wines!

The private room was spacious and came with a bar, a place to play bags outside, a pool table and a basketball goal. As people trickled in, I shot some hoops and played a couple games of pool. The food they served was standard bar fare: pizza, t-ravs, salad, pretzel nuggets, buffalo and cheeseburger sliders. Surprisingly, the food was pretty good but the cookies were trash. The people working the event were friendly and attentive. I wish we had a chance to play games on the outside but maybe we'll get the chance the next time we're in the area.
