This place is like going into another world. Had no idea it even existed until I looked up flea…read moremarkets. I was trying to find something similar to the Festival market in Pompano Beach but in Lake Worth/West Palm area. The parking lot is large so there's ample space. As you walk up there are several food trucks -- one in the lot and two just outside the entry doors. Everything smelled wonderful -- from tacos to roasted corn. Inside the gals at the info booth spoke English as well as Spanish so that was helpful. There are narrow aisles and each store or kiosk is jammed packed with products. I noticed a lot of barber shops and hair salons in one area; places that sell bedding and furniture; plus clothes; shoes; music -- instruments to tapes; jewelry; buying and selling of gold; cell phone and computer repairs; hems and alternations; On one entire wall side is a series of small restaurant kiosks. There are chairs to sit down at to eat and rest. Everything from home cooked meals (mainly Latin or island cuisine) to juices to ice cream and candy. Unfortunately, they didn't have my husband's favorite -- passion fruit palettas. Nor did they have what I was looking for, but it was an interesting walk through.

I am very, very impressed by this Flea Market. In fact, calling it one doesn't give it the prestige…read morethat it deserves. Now, by prestige, I do NOT mean classiness, but simply respect. Read on and I will explain. The flea market looks like an old mega-department store that went out of business and was then bought and maintained by the people. This is exactly what I found inside: nail boutiques, salons, cell phone providers, bubble tea shops, korean cafes, etc. Each independently-owned and maintained. Essentially, this is a free-for-all! I came in with a limited budget in terms of time and money, but ended up with a full belly and a worthwhile purchase: a $6 dollar hot wing tray from a korean family-owned cafe and a $5 pair of sunglasses. $11 dollars total = VICTORY! You don't get a cup loaded with ice and some guarapo, you get a whole lot of juice with some ice. $3 not a bad deal. You'll find them out in front of the sunshine flea market. They're just left of the entrance on weekends and weekdays they're farther to the left of the entrance near the side entrance. Check them out.

Yes. At first I thought there was only a main room with crafting items, miscellaneous new stuff, home decor, movies, and electronics and a room with clothes and accessories but I saw a couple coming out of a side door. If you go through it, there is another huge room filled with furniture, books, crafts, and tools. Interesting find in the front room, a pair of signed ballet shoes but I couldn't make out the signature. I ended up purchasing a brand new Alex wooden dragon castle set for my students for $10. It is going for $40 at Walmart right now. If you are into crafts they have tons of crafting items. This thrift store is for anyone who likes to hunt and doesn't mind if they have to dig around. I am pleased with what I purchased so it was a win for me. I'll probably be back to raid their craft bins.
