Used to LOVE this place, but between resellers, snowbirds and corporate greed, it is no longer my top spot for thrifting. The biggest issue is the insane markup on USED items. Selling a pair of old, visibly filthy and clearly very used and loved sneakers for $50,$80, and over $100 is wild. I think management has forgotten that these are items they have been given for free. There is no reason to sell someone's old sneakers with no tread for $50. read more

This place advertises as a "thrift" store. Second Hand Store would be a more accurate description. I have visited many thrift stores and was surprised to find this " for profit" store even more expensive than Goodwill pricing. Clothing, shoes, toys, bric a brac, appliances, bedding, were pricey. Thrifters would have better luck shopping for their items at other locations that did not bear the overhead load of paying large shopping plaza rent, support staff and multiple cashier positions. read more

As it is said, "One man's trash is another treasure". This thrift store is very well organized and there were quite a few employees who were visible for assistance. I liked that their prices were good and the store was pretty clean. There is a big variety of clothing, houswares and electronics. They did seem to have a very small selection of baby/toddler toys. The checkout line moved quickly. Parking is a bit of a challenge but there is plenty of parking in the shopping center. read more

I'm a thrift girly and I've been to other American thrift but this was was a lot bigger and spacious for shopping!! Enough toys to keep your little ones entertained while shopping too! Today had some half price off colors which is always a steal!!! Also found some brand new items. The only thing I hate is finding stuff that's soo overpriced when they literally got the item for free. Make it make sense. Overall if you take your time shopping you'll find some gems! My besties found 2 brand new items that are $40 or more at reg market price. read more

Ridiculous pricing for a thrift store. Broken items, missing lids, stuff on shelves over clothing racks making it impossible to shop the rows (people in aisles flipping thru clothes). Ugh! One visit was sufficient! This place is way too crowded with inadequate aisle space. Also, the prices are all over the map. More lean toward overpriced than fair market value. There was some cool vintage stuff and a wide variety of merchandise but this place is entirely too chaotic of a vibe for me to enjoy. read more

This store is so much more organized than when we first came here. So I'm redoing my review and adding one more star. And there's a lot more inventory. Lots! They were packed on a holiday weekend as all clothes were discounted 50 percent off. And everyone was buying! Plus, they had some other discounts too based on the color of the tags. There are still mainly racks and racks of clothes. But it's pretty well sorted considering -- at least into categories with some set aside for a "boutique" rack/section. And in one corner is their jewelry in a separate counter display. Around the edges are the bric a brac. A small section of books and a small bit of electronics. We didn't buy anything. We didn't fall in love with anything -- which is what you'd have to do to wait in the very long check out line. But you never know what they'll have in a future visit. read more

My first time thrifting here and what a disappointment. The place, seemed like an organized mess. I found some cool pieces, however the prices are WORSE than antique store pricing. $20 for a candle holder? No thank you. $50 for a ginger jar?? Not today. I love the thought of filling my house with timeless pieces and saving them from the landfill, but this store is not to help people afford things or even encourage people to shop second hand, but to fill their pockets with $$. I don't know who manages this place, but I question their ability to do so. The checkout line is located in the China / Porcelain isle. It's impossible to look at anything without forcing everyone to move to one side - especially if you have a cart. There are at least 40 people in line with two cashiers. There used to be good bargains, but now anything that could be worth anything is marked up very high - even when damaged. I continue to find items with no price, which cannot be sold. I learned long ago to not give them to staff on the floor, because they just turn around and place them right back on the shelf. I wait and give it to a cashier. I used to love this place, but that love affair is over. read more

I did find a queen size mattress pad brand new mattress pad here ! Paid $10.00 and they charge you an extra 10 cent fee for supplies !! Maybe they charged for a plastic bag to put my item in I don't know but that's actually bull ! They also didn't tell me that when I was purchasing item ! Just want others to know so your aware when shopping here of that sneaky fee ! Would I shop here again yes I do occasionally find deals in here ! This is a chain of thrift stores with a few locations in South Florida and one in New York. I had previously been to and reviewed the Lauderhill and Hollywood locations. This location in Greenacres was the nicest one I have visited. The 15,000 square foot store opened in Woodlake Plaza in April of 2019. There is a large selection of items. You can peruse rows of clothing for men, women, children and babies. They also sell appliances, books, CDs, DVDs, shoes, purses and accessories, bedding, art, knick-knacks, toys, home decor, and electronics. Boutique items are up front. Prices are very reasonable and extra discounts can be earned through their rewards program and throughout the week. Customers 50 and older receive 50% off most items in the store on Wednesdays and 50% off discounts are for everyone during the Friday Happy Hour sale from 4 to 8 p.m. Select ticket colors are 50% off throughout the week and there is a 10% discount extended to active duty military. There is also Goodwill located nearby for further thrift treasure hunting. read more

I've be shopping with you guys for years and never had a problem with them charging wrong! Lake worth cashiers are the best west palm awful! Last week I told im I was over 50 from the begin didn't give me the discount got a credit from the manager had to go back to that store again to use it and they did it again had to get a credit again then realized they never gave me the credit I got last week and she kept the receipts the manager gave me the credit! I would not recommend this thrift store. I have been to this thrift store several times and the prices are just absurd $$$, so many pieces priced 19.99$+. Most of the staff is very friendly aside from the cashier MARIEN, shes just always rude- no response when greeting her hello/goodbye or when thanking her, just an unhappy mean mug face always. read more

Has anyone else noticed that prices have gone up. My question is "WHY" ? Retail has gone up for various reasons, but these are used, DONATED items. We get excited about the discounts, but there's always a catch. The discounted colored stickers for the day, don't amount to a hill of beans, because the newer items aren't ever included. I like the American Thrift store in West Palm Beach so I was excited to go to this new store in Lake Worth. However this store was disappointing. A lot of the home goods items on the shelves were damaged. Very few items in good, usable condition--instead chipped, cracked and very worn yet priced high. I did not look at clothing. I went to this store twice and had the same experience. I hope this store will improve but right now this will not be one of my destination thrift stores. read more

I was in thrift heaven! This store is huge and has such great selection of clothes. I am from N.C. and love looking for great deals and can't believe everything I got here. Was able to get a cart full of stuff for $30. It ended up being happy hour on Friday so lots of stuff was 50% off. Going back today to use my coupon.
