My left lung collapsed 60% due to him medically injuring me. I called him from the ER and from my hospital room. He never returned my call, and charged me for the visit. Never even said he was sorry for collapsing my lung for a week. Good thing he didn't dry needle both shoulders, he might have killed me. I loved our conversations together and my neck has never felt better. My quality of life has definitely improved from where I was before to after our appointments together. For context, I used to wake up with neck pain every morning, to the point where going to bed was often painful even with the thinnest of pillows -- I often had to fall asleep on ice packs to get through the pain. I also had/have chronic migraines and was in a car accident prior to meeting Dr. Ali, so my neck and back were in rough shape. I also have been an athlete since I was 5, so I'm sure that didn't make it easy on her either! She was able to immediately diagnose some of the issues I had from built up wear and tear and start me on a program for recovery. She also made the whole process so easy with the insurance from the person who hit me. She took care of it all and I only had to worry about showing up to our appointments. I never had to worry about prices and sending forms back and forth with the insurance. Not having that additional stress with fighting insurance alone was super helpful. My quality of life has definitely improved after having Dr. Ali both as a physical therapist and a chiropractor -- it's not often we find someone capable of doing both in one appointment! She also would cater the care to my body's needs and how I was feeling. There were times where my neck was too sensitive for the typical chiropracty, but she had tools that made the process so much better -- decreasing my pain levels without adding to it. The tools she had were definitely a game changer. She would also change the procedures to fit my improvements or alter them for my needs at the time. I came in after going on a walk/hike started hurting my hips, and she was able to adjust them as well to relieve that pain too. She and I had great conversations where she would check in on me and remember things going on in my life and see how she could improve my conditions. She made me feel like I had her not only as a doctor, but also as a concerned friend. I really felt like she was doing her best to take care of me in every way. She keeps all my small nagging pains at bay and allowing me to train at my fullest! Please note- she is not your typical Chiropractor. When I called with question, was told it was moved to another random time that we could not make. I have the printed schedule with shows 10:00 am. They informed me that it was at 1:00 pm, a time we couldn't make. The therapists are very good, but getting in to see them is apparently not easy. They are understaffed.

Once inside, the information sign indicated the names and locations of various businesses. PT of Richardson was among them. I have only had one visit here so far, but my initial consultation was good. I was referred here by my primary care medical staff. The facility called me as soon as they received the notice of referral from my medical team. I had been working and unable to answer my phone during business hours, but this place called and left messages several times. I appreciated their persistence. I filled out paperwork digitally prior to my appointment, but I still had paperwork to complete the day of the visit. The physical therapist seemed to be very knowledgeable. He was patient and listened to me discuss my issues. He took time to measure and evaluate my mobility and gait. On the first day, I was given several exercises to do during the session and asked to continue doing them at home for homework. It was recommended that I attend therapy at least twice a week. My evaluation was in the evening after normal business hours. The facility was brightly lit and there were several people there (front desk staff, the physical therapist, therapy assistants, and clients). Daytime appointments are also available, but it is nice that after hours are available for clients working an 8-5 job. The therapist was great at explaining the exercises and techniques to do. He watched me perform them and told me the reason behind doing each of them. I'm not sure I will have this much attention at future sessions, but the therapist did say he oversees the staff who work with each of the clients. I'll report on my progress after attending several sessions. At the moment, I have shooting pain that comes and goes in my right heel. Having had plantar fasciitis in the past, I recognized that something is a bit different this time. An Xray taken previously shows a bone spur, but perhaps neither of these or both of these along with another issue are to fault for the pain. In any case, I'm doing big toe exercises which seems completely unrelated except that the therapist explained so eloquently how the big toe can contribute to so much of the fascia issues. Fingers and toes crossed this brings some relief.

Everyone I encountered, from the front desk assistants, to the physical therapists were all professionals in every way and working only in your best interest. The equipment is sanitized after every use. Masks were required, and temperatures taken at every visit. The room is never overbooked or crowded. The therapists work with your limitations never forcing only encouraging you to do your best that day. I am definitely on the road to recovery and would highly recommend this company.
